Such a cute store! Staff is very knowledgeable on pets and their needs. Caters to dogs, birds, and bunnies. A lot of the suppliers seem to be from local sources, or the state of Texas. Highly recommend checking them out.

Two years later, I’m more in love with this store and the owner. Caring, loving and compassionate people who love animals like I do. Stop by and just look and you’ll see what I mean.

Amazing place loved the environment!! I went in with a bunny that was 5 weeks old and I thought it was 5 years old, instead of giving me ugly faces or saying I didn't know what I was doing, she walked me through it and help me out a lot, got me a box for the ride home and hay!! She was a extremely helpful and answered all my questions!! Without her I don't know what would have happened to my bunny sense it was so young to be away from its mommy!

Very disappointed. Bought two parakeets that were supposed to be hand tamed but that is not the case. After two months they still flail about their cage with simple things as just changing food bowls. Have had birds all my life so not inexperienced. Should have known when they were fleeing for their lives from the girl getting them out of their cage. Buyer beware if you want truly hand tamed.

I went here to acquire information about a bird species I was interested in. The lady who was working was extremely off putting and short. Did not seem interested in helping me at all and made me feel like I was a burden for even being there. I did look around at the toys, and the variety is nice, especially the individual pieces section so you can make your own toys. I bought some treats for my dogs and some little toys. I was hopeful and excited to come to this store because of all the reviews, and I was planning to buy a bird here, but after that interaction I've taken my buisness elsewhere.

I bought a baby cockatiel, about 2 months old, from this store and he has been a treasure ever since. He’s a happy and healthy Cinnamon ‘tiel and because of their hand feeding and care he acclimated quickly to me and my family. They have a wide variety of bird toys, perches, and treats, and the staff is more than accommodating! I will most definitely be returning time and time again for all my general avian needs.10/10 service, 10/10 communication, 10/10 prices!

The absolute BEST place in town for all of your bird’s needs! They have a fantastic selection of food and toys and the owners are so knowledgeable. I would not take my birds anywhere else for trimming and boarding as they are simply the best! Katie is a bird whisperer!!!

We had called many pet supply stores looking for an antibiotic for our birds (2 pet chickens). No one seemed to know what we needed. After calling a store, they referred us to Wings, Wags, and Whiskers. The owner asked what was wrong with our birds, referred to her vet book and recommended an alternate product for us and gave us proper dosing measurements. She did not have the medication on stock, but looked up a store that did; it was their last package. We were thrilled to have a path to start on for medicating our birds and grateful for her customer service. We will be browsing her store for snacks and anything else she can recommend for our little flock. THANK YOU!

This is one of the coolest pet stores in town to say the least. The birds are not in cages and are sitting on open perches for customers to view and interact with, and there is a very friendly older corgi wandering around just waiting for any pets you're willing to give. The staff seem knowledgeable and was very helpful and even allowed me to hold and pet one of their rabbits. Definitely will be going back.

This is the friendliest store in Amarillo. Everytime I go in the owner and her daughter are so polite, helpful and knowledgeable about their products and their animals. They hand raise all their birds and these birds make the best pets and family members you could ask for. I love going in the shop to see what new products they have in stock.

My girls and I stopped in here to kill a little time today. The young girl who was working behind the counter never once acknowledged us or asked us if we needed help. She never smiled at us, made eye contact or made us feel welcome. We spent at least 10-15 min in the store looking around. My daughters loved seeing the birds and never touched the cages. We only saw birds as far as pets go, but lots of other good pet supplies. I kept a close eye on them. I’ve never visited before but I sure didn’t leave with a good taste in my mouth. I had considered buying a dog toy but changed my mind after such poor service. Judging from the other reviews, this is not the typical experience but I would be hard pressed to recommend it or return.

Katie and her mama literally saved mine and my birds relationship. I was in over my head with a giant Moluccan cockatoo and they knew that,but they gave me guidance and tools to use to help us through the rough patch. We’ve been to the store 3 times now and twice with my Yelly bird. After the first time visiting, my bird fell in love with Katie and she loved him back like he was hers! It was the most wonderful feeling knowing she cared about him as much as I did and that he knew she was safe to love. We don’t know his background but he does not trust easy AT ALL. We are lifelong patrons for them now and everything they’ve told me to do or change has worked! I highly recommend them and we will get our next birdie from them! And please listen to their recommendations on the right bird for your family, they really do know what they are talking about.

I went from lubbock to buy a cockatiel. I got a very cute baby one. It costs $200. It comes with some food as well. All of their birds are tamed. The owner is supee friendly and welcoming. Awesome experience.

I love the way the baby birds are tamed. Katie really knows what she is doing with birds. We just bought 2 birds last week here and spent over $1100. We asked then If they would trade big bird pirching trees for smaller ones. She told us yes, bring them in. The trees we have are for big birds not the small conures we have. My husband is a disabled veteran and it was difficult for us to bring one in. We had paid $800 for both of them a few years ago and never expected to get that for them but she wanted to trade tree for tree. The trees we wanted are half the size but when we tried to negotiate 3 small trees for 2 large trees she shut us down and said her Mom said she doesn't want our trees at all now. My point is she had seen the pictures and knew what they looked like and told us yes she would trade. We obviously wouldn't just give them away so they no longer wanted them. Thankfully the other bird Aviary in town was fair with our trade and traded 3 small for 2 large. I won't shop at wings wags and whiskers anymore.

An Excellent place to Buy Any Pet Birds in the panhandle, I got my Cockatiel “Mango” when Jean was still the owner. Even thought there are new owners, they are just as wonderful as Jean! I’m glad that This Store is In Amarillo and that it provides excellent service. (Will probably be buying a New bird again)

Best place in the Panhandle to buy hand-tamed birds, get wings and nails trimmed, and buy food, toys, and supplies. They are very friendly and have expert knowledge of birds. They also have a great selection of food, toys, and supplies for cats and dogs. I have bought some of the best dog toys (that actually last and dogs play with over and over) from Texotic Pets. Check out Canidae - it is great, high quality, grain-free food for cats and dogs.

This place doesn't have many animals. No dogs or cats, just birds. But their birds are very well taken care of and the owners or staff let a cute rabbit run around the store and the kids can pet it.Different varieties of snacks for dogs. Chicken feet and we'll just different.
