Absolutely wonderful veterinary practice. One of my dogs is extremely fearful of people and the other has had bad experiences at previous vets. They work so hard to make their experiences there as positive as possible. I would trust no one else with both my service dogs health and well being.The only negative I have is the price for a nail trim being a whopping 45 dollars. I completely understand, as someone who has worked in the veterinary industry, that it is to pay their techs, but I recommend going elsewhere for a nail trim if possible as they typically run only 10-15 dollars at other grooming and veterinary practices.

I’ve taken my Airdale to BSAV for almost 10 years. They have always been caring and compassionate during my visits; which is rare these days. I went in on Sept 27th to have Reggie looked at. He’s 10 years old and suddenly couldn’t get up from laying down. When I got there they were short staffed, no AC, no computers, and all the rooms were one in - one out. All 4 staff members were gracious and took phenomenal care of us, despite the chaos. Reggie is now on the mend. Hats off to those 4 ladies! Thank y’all!!!

The front desk staff and the vet tech were great. Dr. Carlson not so much. She comes across as extremely hateful and stuck up. She has absolutely no bedside manners at all. I guess if you're the type of person to put up with that than this vet is fine for your fur babies. Personally, I like a vet that doesn't mind answering questions and doesn't act like they are put out because of that.

I would highly recommend Bushland Small Animal Veterinary Clinic to everyone who loves their pet. They provide excellent care and really show that they care as much for your fur baby as you do. The staff is friendly and professional. I love this clinic and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. We love Dr. Carlson caring manner and truthful statements regarding what our pets need. Bushland Vet has been great every time we've had to take our fur babies! I am always in and out quickly. Booking is very easy. They have even worked with me to get my pets in the same day for urgent health problems. The staff are all very friendly and Dr. Carlson does an excellent job of communicating with you and answering any questions. I highly recommend Bushland Vet!

My husband and I moved to Texas from Georgia in November of 2019. We have a teacup Maltese that was barely 3 lbs and needed to be seen by a vet for her 1 year shots. Molly was not spaded because I was so uncomfortable with how small she was and going under anesthesia. Dr. Carlson and her staff were amazing and went through all the steps they would take to ensure the safest environment for my baby girl. I have recommended this office to many of my coworkers who have been established with other vets in the area for many years. They have all moved over and recommend her as well. From the office staff to Dr. Carlson, you cant get a higher level of care and consideration for your fur babies.

The doctor, staff, and facility are all top-notch. They took absolutely wonderful care of our girl when she became terribly sick while we were visiting town. I felt perfectly comfortable leaving her there overnight for care which is not easy for this protective papa. Highly recommended.

Athena was my "Break in the Storm." She was a beautiful, sweet Mastiff. She was with me for 13 years. She spent her entire life being my best friend and she was a constant love and protector of my kids. She saw us through some tough times and she always made everything better. When it was time to say goodbye to Athena, Dr. Carlson came to my house. She spent well over an hour making all of us comfortable and she made sure that Athena passed peacefully and knowing that she was loved. I will never be able to repay Dr. Carlson and her wonderful staff for the gift of the peace and comfort and dignity they provided to Athena and my family.My current 4-legged family consists of two Mastiffs and a sweet little opinionated cat, lol. I won't trust anyone but Dr. Carlson to care for them.

My cat, Jezzy, was extremely ill. Dr. Carlson and all of the employees took excellent care of Jezzy. They were great about letting me come and see her on a daily basis. She was in their care, as an in-patient, for about a week. Jezzy completely recovered with no side effects. I am so grateful and thankful for Bushland Small Animal Veterinary Clinic.

Not much help from vet. Response: This med was not a controlled med and as I politely said then, and now, if you were not comfortable dispensing this med, I respect that. The med had been misplaced. The fact remains, you refused care to my elderly pet and I cannot recommend your clinic. I since have moved on, far from Bushland and (if you care) my dog is doing fine as I found a vet several states away who was more than eager to help my precious old man. I am sorry I cannot recommend your clinic.

We live in San Antonio and was in Amarillo visiting my wife’s family. Our little boy was having issues with his eyes. We took him to a hospital on Saturday and they couldn’t help us due to them not having “the correct tools” so we gave him Benadryl Sunday. Monday morning his eyes still looked pretty bad we decided to take him in before we left town. Bushland Small vet clinic hands down was the best service we have ever had. From the time we called to see if we could get in right away to the time we left. The receptionist was beyond sweet and the Dr. was very knowledgeable, she got him on the right medication and today he is back to his normal self.
