Standard Sam's experience, the store is clean but sometimes a little cramped. Staff are friendly and helpful. I'm not in often but always make sure to use the scan and go so don't have to wait in line. The pizza and drink combo is still a great deal on the way out.

Not a good morning today 1/19/24 I’m a OTR truck driver it’s 12 degrees outside I have a 6 o’clock appointment I go to the door it feels locked so I rang the doorbell nobody answered so I scanned the QR code no one answered. Another delivery driver comes out that’s how I got in. So I gave the guy at the window my paperwork and sit down, there’s a lady behind him talking about me very disrespectfully so I sat up and she looks at me didn’t even know I was there. I go how was I supposed to know the door needs maintenance work done to it so you have to pull harder then a usual door. She responded( I’m just like this in the morning)WOW!Thank God! I go to church. Sam’s Club please educate, practice,train your employees how to be more respectful, nice,courteous towards others we all have a job to do and never planned on working with others with nasty behavior.

Why? It's like this at both locations, and pretty much every Wal-Mart I've been to within the last year. Plenty of people who WANT to have a real person check them out. Plenty of people who still pay with cash (which the kiosks at Sam's don't accept). The management crew seem to have worse work ethic than most general employees.

Please Costco come to Amarillo. This place is a joke. Carts are beat up, food court is always out of something, the check to see if you are stealing line is always packed and very slow.. I can't think of anything why I should keep the membership. Bye Sam's.

Sams club customer service claims we must have original receipt for jewelry exchange or returns! Where does it say it on the jewelry counter! I have it on my sams app and they said they can not use it.Just lies! Put a sign up! Or let the customers know that when it’s being sold!

Terrible customer service. Been a member since February and they still won’t give me a membership card. Every time I try to get one it’s always some excuse instead of trying to help. Their QR codes on the gas pumps don’t work with the app and if you don’t have a membership card, that’s the only other way to use them. I was blown off today by member services when I politely asked them for help. Their only solution was to talk to the attendant which there hardly ever is one out there. You’re a member exclusive store. You should have the membership cards there in the store!

Sam’s don’t care about there employees health if they are sick they cant even call in or they will get in trouble even with a doctor note they still get a point mark even showing they was at the doctors sick or if they have covid they still have to go in i dont think that right if a employer is sick they should have a day off so they wont get no one eles sick

Pick up at this Sam’s club was so troublesome and long. We waited for like 30 min and then tried calling the number and nobody picked up. I would avoid as much as possible

The new exit experience needs improvement.The lines seem to be backed up further than they were before.I tried to check out through the app and that was not working.

Only 2 Registers open. All the other are self checkout. Waiting in line for more than 10mins is ridiculous! Please open more that are NOT self checkout. This is the 2nd Sam's club i went to today! The 1st one was only taking card. Please understand NOT everyone has or can use card. We only had cashSo we had to go cross town to the other Sam's.

Waited on Saturday for a rotisserie chicken to finish cooking while I was shopping. I grabbed the third to last one which is what really concerns me- others could have got a chicken that looks like mine or worse. Please people if you trust your chicken to be cooked by other people ALWAYS check before you eat!! Coming from someone who has had salmonella before, I take uncooked chicken extremely seriously. When I called to let them know mine was still extremely raw, the woman on the phone thanked me for letting her know and nothing more. Yikes.

It's great to be able to go & get deals but when we're pretty much forced to wait in line at the SELF cash out then we're forced to wait in line to get a lot of our items scanned. It's ridiculous. I had one item & I still had to get it scanned. I'm just glad there wasn't a line to get out...makes me feel like I'm being held hostage just to get out of the store

Always used a mobile digital card to shop, one or two time the people at front door complain about we have to show the real card to enter the door. They make to seem a big deal .WHATS THE DIFFERENCE?

Today i stoped at Sam's for groceries, every thing went smooth and i decided to get 1 rostisserie chicken , all the chickens looked burned on the skin so decided to take 1 anyways ,drove about 120 miles stoped again for a small break and i decided to eat a little bit of chicken and the thing is still RAW 😡 on the inside. Freaking nasty , you all are going to get someone sick with them RAW CHICKENS. You can't just turn up the heat on the burners and burn the sking on the thing and leave the inseide RAW , come on people. I will call the store and let them know , but i'm writing this review so that it doesn't happen to any one else out there. 🚛🇺🇲🇲🇽 ✌️

Delivery appointment at 0600 arrived 0545 empty 0630. Sign signs receiving hours are from 4 till like 11 I forget what time they stop receiving but for sure they start at 0400. Very nice people

Store closes at 8pm and food closed at 7:15. Fountain drinks out of order and charged same price as a combo with drink. When this happens at Costco they open a case of soda from the back and offer you cans. This is the difference between a Costco and a Sam's. Any manager in the their right mind would offer drinks the same way and here they say too bad and close early. So crazy.

This location sucks, the café is out of half the menu items, water machine is broken, where the salads and drinks go is broken, half the drinks machine is broken, the employees are rude and want you to order off the app. Literally pay $100 membership for this. Omg.

I'm giving two stars because of the selection. I think that's just a Sam's Club thing. Very limited selection for anything other than the most common items. Sure, they come in bulk sizes, but it doesn't cater well to any dietary restrictions. We still have to shop at Walmart for anything specialized. It's great if you need a lot of common things. We buy a lot of non-perishable items and a few grocery items that we use every day. The fuel is the cheapest in town too. I also hate that you have to pay to be a member and you get scanned when you enter, at the register, & exit. Like, I'm paying $100 a year just to shop here. Do you really need to check my receipt against my items? Why would I steal from a place I paid to enter? It just seems like everything is centered around that membership. 1 star for fuel prices and 1 star for being able to buy in bulk. -1 star for the membership hassle, -1 star for lack of selection, and -1 star for customer service (or lack thereof).

Sam's club has been serving Amarillo for decades. The shopping was still very clean and comfortable. Most merchandise price are competitively lower than any store in town off course with bulk buying. I still appreciate shopping at Sam's club till this day. For that reason, I give Sam's club a thumb up for their services.

Decent same club, but be ready to get hit up for beggars when leaving. They allow anyone to set up a booth and guilt you when leaving the store.

The cashier are really wonderful one of the lady scanned the the items and I had $700 in cash this line was just for debit cards and my girl friend wanted to put it on card and it was in the car so went out got it and there was no problem the employee are rocking solid and go the extra mile for you.

Sam's is always a nice experience and this one is no exception. Good prices on bulk items. I like to buy my bottled water at Sam's and prefer buying it in the South Western states that have Ozarka. Its one of the purest Spring Waters. And at Sam's they have a 40 pack ! Can't beat that !

U can get almost anything and everything you need for basic living needs here.Now I only go here to make sure a certain person doesn't spend our savings!!Lol 😆But they usually have a better deal on most items, when we are talking about cost, can't say about other big warehouse stores.I do like this place because of the savings I get but its the amount that you spend at this 1 visit, but over time it does pay off in the end.Great place, employees, depending on when you go, its either very busy and crowded, or not busy at all!Be safe, have fun, make memories,✌
