Went there for fish supplies. Found out they have great reward program. Gives you 15% discount and $5 credit each month. Now we buy online with the discount and pickup later. We get live fish. Not too expensive but they have 50/50 survival rate. I believe they have 30 day guarantee but we haven't pursued that. The store is clean and well-organized. Staff is friendly and lines don't get too long. Always a pleasant shopping experience.

They have good sales on aquatic plants, and different aquatic life. The sales are the better selection for this store.Sometimes the fish tanks will go for $1 a gallon which is pretty awesome.They have a wide selection of Betta fish, I have purchased 2 from them and loved them both.I have bought 2/1.4 gallon tanks that are good quality and good lighting, plus a 55 gallon tank.I've purchased lots of plants when they were on sale and they are all still going strong and hardy plants.The reason for the 3 stars is because you can't always find a sales associate in the fish section and when u do it can be a wait for assistance. They price is the other reason, unless it's a sale some prices can be a little high, but they are cheaper than petsmart, for the most part.

Petco has done an update, to enhance customer benefits, but in doing so has eliminated the ability to use multiple coupons for multiple of the same item. Now we have to check out duplicate purchases, with separate coupons, on separate transactions. In other words, if we are purchasing three boxes of cat litter, each box of litter, with it's accompanied coupon, must be checked out in three separate transactions for each coupon to work. The manager had to come assist, but it worked. Knowing this ahead of time, wil lsave the wait time fir other Petco shoppers behind us. It's all good.

DO NOT USE THEIR SAME DAY DELIVERY !!! The store here in Amarillo will let anyone who says they are there to pick up an order with door dash steal your order worth 70 dollars. Then you have jump through all kinds of hoops in order to prove it was stolen and then while you are doing that they just cancel your order and tell you it will take 3-5 days to refund your money. What a freaking joke

Unacceptable for employees to be eating and drinking on the job. This photo is an employee eating and drinking while showing me products. Zero greeting when I entered, and there were five employees at the counter chatting away while customers begged for help and phones rang. This place has potential they just don't have the right employees to expand on that potential.

We scheduled the appointment for our dogs online and had a confirmation for today at 2:30. I drove 30 miles with the dogs only to find out that there was no appointment on the schedule for them. In doing research it looks like they canceled their appointments shortly after we booked it. They failed to let us know that the appointment was canceled and why. I'm over 60 miles round trip for no reason. I will definitely take the dogs to PetSmart in the future. We have never had issues with PetSmart in Amarillo Texas.

I prefer Petco over PetSmart because the prices seem to be better. They were having an adoption day and we ended up adopting a puppy. His brother's think his high energy is a little crazy, but he's a keeper!🐕 ❤️

I haven't been in there since last fall, but I thought the carts piled with stuff off the truck at the entrance was odd...also I'm not sure anyone was working cuz I didn't see a single employee, which meant no customer service for a short woman needing something from the top shelf and no one stopping 2 teenagers who walked right out the door with some betas, a little tank, and the food.

Nothing to mention they don't carry all the brands I want. I got to check out and of course there's nobody up there and then they're now charging 10 cents per plastic bag. I'll now drive further and just go to PetSmart. A bag is part of customer service and you're not saving money by charging because my 9 pets and business is going elsewhere.

I have been bringing my Australian Shepard, Elsa, for grooming for about a year. It has been difficult to find a groomer that is patient with her because she is deaf and blind. There was a serious incident in November 2022 that was handled openly, and professionally by the manager of grooming at that time. The groomer, Rain, was angry about something that happened in the salon and took it out on Elsa. When I brought Elsa to her appointment for a bath on May 13th, the groomer acted angry and put out that I had brought her. I thought at first I had the wrong day or time and confirmed that I was there at the right time with the groomer. The groomer justified her reaction by saying she thought I was not bringing Elsa due to the rain. I'm still not sure what the deal was, but I have cancelled any future appointments. Due to the incident in November 2022, I cannot risk a groomer's anger or frustration to be taken out on my dog. I don't know if a store manager or district manager reads these reviews, but I think it would benefit the store to make sure immature associates are not hired in the future.

This place groomed our golden doodle and didn't properly clean his ears. They did not take out the hair out nothing, not even the wax. We took him to another grooming place and they removed it. This morning we had to take our dog to the vet because he was whining and whimpering. Turns out he had a STAPH INFECTION! Please! For gods sake do not take your pets here to be groomed. Our poor baby has to suffer in all this pain because these people didn't do their job. I don't know how this place hasn't been sued yet. I imagine how many other dogs they've done this to. Please if you have taken your poodle here go get them into another groomer and take them to the vet to check for an ear infection. I am infuriated and upset at what they did to my baby boy. We will NOT be coming to this place ever again. Do better.

I have a mini Aussie and she's a PUPPY ! I had this last groomer that if I don't work on Zoey or bring her to training! They will not accept her for any grooming 😡 I have taken her to other places and they say she's very good puppy and she's doing well. They tell me when I say what your goommer said to me ! They said she's a puppy but she is doing great for a puppy when being groomed. I'm not sure if I will be back ! I will just wait and see if your grooming place is for us.
