I cannot express how happy I was to find this gem of a store. When you go in you can immediately tell how passionate they are about the animals in there. They are knowledgeable and so polite! You can pay to see the reptiles and friends in the back and it's very cost efficient. You also have to option to buy a meal for the animals and watch them eat!!!! I spent a good 3 hours here just loving on all babies. It is a great place to bring your kids and let them embrace a true understanding of the animals around them. If you do so choose to go in the back room ask for "brisket" he was an amazing tour guide ❤️

I absolutely love fish pros, all of the employees are phenomenal and the owner is a great guy who knows what he’s talking about, but the reason I love fish pros is their extensive amounts of reptiles and the great employees especially brisket who is the best employee and will answer any question and even let you hold some animals in the back section

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. They have a large selection of fresh and salt water animals.I purchased my first axolotl from them and he is still happy and healthy.I have bought several guppies, feeders guppies, shrimp, and many more live animals that have been good quality from them.I love touring their store and always seem to find something new I want to take home. They only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because their prices can be higher than other places in town.

John at Fish Pros was outstanding. He went out of his way to be certain I had what I needed for a huge 2500 gallon stock tank being converted to an outdoor aquarium. He knew every detail about fish and plants that would be best. excellent people excellent store

They moved to this new location on Wolflin Ave, very pretty inside, and outside. Hopefully they have the reptile area set up soon. It looked like only about half of their animals were moved over to this location so far when we visited. Consider before buying something because their prices are quite higher than places like Petco.

Great place with a huge selection of fish. They have a place in the back of the store that allows you to hold different animals, pythons, lizards, bunny's, and exotic species to look at for $5 a person.. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Kids can feed some of the animals for a small cost as well.

Needed a feeder rat so Instead of the zoo, we came here! Amazing experience, loved feeding the animals & purchasing tickets to the back! Also can I just saw I love the way it smells in there?? Oops sorry not sorry lol

A hidden gem! We had no idea that there was an aquarium packed full of amazing animals in Amarillo. The entrance fee was great and the tour guide was very knowledgable and there were opportunities to touch many of the animals.

Have gone here for years and hate to see this locally owned business go down hill like it is. Tanks are filthy and poorly kept which equals poor health within the tanks. No one wants to see a bunch dead fish at the fish store. The owner can be helpful but the employees that work there are not knowledgeable at all when it comes to any animals they sell. The kid that talked to me recently couldn’t even do a correct water test. Also prices are not posted.. suspicious is what I call it. Very disappointing to see I hope they can turn things around.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. This is a great store with great service. This hobby can be hard and it can be disappointing and discouraging and you can set a lot of money on fire ordering online.This hasn’t been the case with my purchases from here so far. Beautiful and happy fish that have acclimated well.If you’re reading this review you should be confident in supporting these guys. Even if you’re a couple hundred miles away do yourself solid and make the trip.Don’t order online—go see people face to face. This hobby needs places like this to be sustainable. You should support them.

Prices are high compared to other local pet establishments. Prices are not posted and are decided at point of sale. 3 feeder goldfish $42.19. $12.99 per fish? Ripped my daughter off. Won't be back! Go at own risk, don't let your child go! 1 of 10 would not suggest!

I love Fish Pros, I strongly recommend this local aquatic gem. The people are knowledgeable, friendly and the aquariums are amazingly clean. This is the spot to get your fish. Most beautiful selection of fish and cool reptiles. Please support local. Thank you fish pros for all your help and advice. It's a pleasure to go in your establishment. Also being kid friendly is 10 stars in my opinion.

Favorite new place to shop for fish needs. Although the location is weird, and hard to get to, the place itself is great. Staff are very helpful, and the layout of the area is very pleasing to the eyes. Wish I could spend the whole day in there. They also have a fun viewing area in the back, which is mostly snakes, but there is also some lemurs, guinea pigs, birds, caiman, and an eel. Always has everything that I need. Overall, very fun to go into, and the prices are very reasonable.

Staff were very busy when we came and a lot of customers were in all the areas.In the reptile room a staff member was trying to hurry and feed all the reptiles. Some of the big snake cages needed cleaning. Overall the experience was good animals seemed taken care of.

I get my meal Worms for my Dragon here. They are great and super sweet people. My son saves his quarters so he can feed the Koy fish and turtles 🤗

I used to love this store! I would always ask if we could go to fish pros. I thought I would visit there new location… that was a mistake. There enclosures for reptiles, are way to small. Not kept up with! I definitely understand, there are certain feeding times, but most of them didn’t even have water. Even the bearded dragons need more space. The ball pythons need much larger enclosures. They can’t even fully extend there body. It made my heart break after seeing the conditions of the enclosures.

I absolutely LOVE Fish Pro’s. I come in here all the time.All of their fish are very well taken care of, and they have a huge selection of fresh water fish, and salt water fish. If they don’t have something you want, they are happy to order it for you if they can. They also have a very nice selection of tanks and stands. They have pretty much any size you could want.Anthony is amazing too. I’ve spent a lot of time chatting with him. He’s knowledgeable and very kind.
