Can’t speak highly enough about Bark Avenue at the Trails. We were looking for a new place to board and came across them and decided to give them a try. Gina absolutely loves going there and even gets excited when we pull into the parking lot. Since we started grooming as well, we definitely noticed a difference in the shininess of her coat and she doesn’t shed nearly as much. Highly recommend and speak highly about giving them a try.

Staff is great. The place is always clean.They have remodeled over the years and only improved greatly. Glad to see a business investment back into itself and its employees.They are super sweet to my dogs, and they are always excited to go there which lets me know that they are being treated right.

This is absolutely the worst grooming I have ever seen on my dog (she has had a total of three). I have a soft coated wheaten terrier, that I asked for a groom/style/cut. I asked for her to remain fluffy (teddy/puppy cut) but to remove some of the length but not excessively. They removed more than an inch and a half to two inches throughout her body, you can see every track mark from the clippers on her sides. Her jowls are not even, nor her face, and there are areas of fur missing near her ears and it also seems like they didn't let my dog out to go to the bathroom and didn't have water for to drink.I unfortunately paid prior to seeing her, and would have brought it up. I paid for this service which was a total of $73 (including tip). Was this worth the service, I don't think so...

My two pups loved their time at Bark Avenue! Our tech was Eden and she was nice to me getting everything squared away. Scheduling an appointment was very easy. Staff was helpful and listened to me about the specifics of my pups. My boys came out clean and so handsome! I got them yogurt cookies to seal the deal and they enjoyed them. Pricing was exactly where I expected it to be and fair with grooming a golden doodle.

I love this place! My pom is a service dog and they had him bathed and beautifully groomed in 2 hours. That means a lot to me. It is well worth the try after 3 or 4 other groomers that had disappointed me. We will be back in a month or so to do it again. They are MARVELOUS.

I love Bark Avenue! I have 3 dogs that I have been taking over there for a while. They do a fab job, my dogs are happy. The environment is a nice, clean and smells good place. The staff is super nice! I trust my animals to look good and feel loved and safe there. I highly recommend Bark Avenue❤

I took my Dalmatian there for the first time. She has only been groomed once prior. Nora tends to be scared of new people, but her groomer did a great job! Nora loved her instantly! They did a great job on her deshedding and they said she did great through the whole process (except the blow drying) so instead of blow drying, they used towels and let her air dry so she wasn’t scared! 10/10 recommend! I will be back!

Bark Avenue at the Trails is always very clean and the team knows how to handle all breeds. Mine require, we’ll say, “extra attention” (my girl pup was mauled by a larger dog when she was a puppy so she now fears big breeds and really “misbehaves” when they are present). So the drop off/pick up situation can be a bit tricky for us at times, but the staff knows how to calm their nerves quickly. The best part of the Bark Avenue experience is picking them up and seeing them happy, not scared or out-of-it, as we have experienced with previous groomers.

Traveling through on vacation they were able to get our dog in on a busy Saturday. Very courteous, clean surroundings, reasonably priced, and they did a wonderful job on her grooming. Best cut she’s ever had! Thank you so much! Highly recommend this business!

OMG where do I start with about Bark Avenue. The first time I came in I had had a schedule mishap with another shop in town and really needed my chihuahua done. I called Bark Avenue and they told me about the self serve bays. I walked in with my little chihuahua and one of the groomers was walking through and looked down at my chihuahua and she said , "Oh my goodness, here you let me take this baby." Told the lady at the counter to write me a ticket and just like that my dog was able to get in that day. We have been back every month since then, about 8 months now. Andy is THE BEST groomer I have ever seen, WE LOVE ANDY!!!! On grooming Saturdays we can tell our chihuahua "You ready to go see Andy?", and she's running for the door pulling on her leash all the way to the car. All of the staff at Bark Avenue are beyond topnotch!!!! We can't say enough about them.

My dog was so nervous the lady sat on the floor with him until he was comfortable with her. His hair was butchered and they did an amazing job and he looks so good. Everyone there is very friendly!

I love Bark Avenue. The groomers are so friendly and love my Greta, even though we're just self-service customers. I enjoy watching them love on the dogs while they groom them, you can tell they love their work. I absolutely recommend them above anyone else in town.

My dog is not afraid of getting groomed here. They always do a super job! My favorite part about this place is they call me as soon as he is done so he doesn't have to be in a kennel for very long. I highly recommend them!

I took my dog there. First the sinks cleanliness was questionable so I rinsed it out good before washing my dog, then I went to dry him, I dried and dried and dried until my arm about fell off. The air was cool so I thought maybe it was broken. I went and asked if I could move to a warmer dryer and they said that was IT and that it just took the surrounding air to dry. I just blinked went and got my dog who was still wet and paid and said I would never come back. I had to drive home with the heater on full blast because my dog was shivering. I won’t come back.

We have tried two other groomers in town before coming to bark avenue with our German Shepherd. I was able to make an appointment for a convenient day and bring her by. Her coat is looking amazing and the deshedding they did is by far the best she's ever had done. Her coat was aweful from going to another groomer and now it's a lot more healthy looking. The nails could be clipped a little better and she was still expressing anal glands when we got home which is horrible considering I'm pregnant. Needless to say I'm not amused with that aspect. Their facility is clean and nice but there is nowhere for the dogs to go potty. So heaven forbid you can't pick them up as soon as they're done or your dog needs to relieve themselves and you live a bit away. Other than that I think it's worth coming here and we will most likely be back with our dog.

Before I found Bark Avenue, I had to have my Shitzue, Biscuit sedated at my vets office to be groomed. Grooming became an expensive nightmare for both of us. She was terrified every month when we pulled into the vets office & I felt like a terrible Mom. I was shopping in the area & saw Bark Avenues sign & decided to go in just to see. There I met Cindy, & our lives changed that day. I told her about our experience with grooming & she assured me that it would be a different experience in their shop. Honestly, I didn't expect much as I had been told that Biscuit was just "high strung & would always need sedation" to be groomed. You can't imagine my joy when I came to pick her up & she was alert, tail waggin & groomed to perfection. She gave Cindy almost as many kisses as she gave me. That was several years ago and I've never been disappointed. I have 2 Shitzues and they go see Scott, Cindy & Clint once a month. They love their spa day & I love the way they look & smell after it. If your looking for a place that will honestly care for your dog like it's part of the family, then Bark Avenue is absolutely the right place for you and your four legged loved ones. 5 stars & more from a long term client. You won't be disappointed and you can trust that your loved one couldn't be in better hands.

*** THE ABSOLUTE PREMIER GROOMER OF AMARILLO *** They clean the entire store top to bottom twice a day. Our dogs always look amazing and.....get this.....they don't want to leave! Even our dogs love this place!

I called on Tuesday June 9th I asked for a grooming appointment, the earliest they had available was 1pm on Wednesday June 17th I set up the appointment. I was not asked anything about records on my pet. So I get txt notifications and everything I am excited to take my pet over there. I get there and give them my information and immediately there was a change in demeanor from the lady after seeing my pet (He is a small dog around 15-20lbs Max, older dog that didn’t make any noise or showed and signs of bad behavior as we went in) I was confused as I have went to multiple places and never had this happen, from her response I knew it was going to be “No” answer. She asked if I had all the updates records, mind you I’m coming on lunch break to do this. It would have been no problem had I been notified before or from the scheduling of the appointment but I wasn’t. I would have been more than happy to provide the information so I asked her if we could proceed without them she said were no suppose to. So I was not going to argue and we just left I didn’t get any response after that. Very bad service, how was I going to set an appointment and I get there and need all this documentation, I was never notified prior. It would have been very helpful for a heads up from the start

I took my yorkie there it was our first experience at the groomers. I dropped lulu off early that morning didn't get her back til after 1 no problem. Whoever cut lulu did a shaggy choppy job. About a week later I took her bow off because it was coming loose to fine that they had double banded the bow. So when I removed it a chunk of her hair came out with it I will not be returning to this place. Her is just as important as mine😡😡😡
