I’ve had 2 packages within 2 weeks that have been delivered to the wrong address. One of packages was pretty important as they were my contact lenses. Who knows what other mail of ours that you all have delivered to the wrong address. Your postal carriers need to get their act together. This is inexcusable! Hire some competent mail carriers please!

I live in the Gills Crossing area. We used to have great mail service but lately I am not receiving all my mail and regularly get neighbors mail instead. Whoever is on this route needs a different job. They aren't capable of doing mail delivery.

We had a passport appointment at 3:30. We got here on time. We walk up to the front desk and the lady dismisses us because “We stop doing passport stuff at 3” which makes no sense considering we very clearly show her our appointment at 3:30. She still rudely dismisses us. I ask if we can make another appointment. She goes “do it online” do your job?

Our carrier is the worst. He never gets the mail into the right box. We are doing his job for him. If you call to complain nothing and I mean nothing is done about it. We are sick and tired of doing his job. We've lived at the same place since 2012 and have never had this problem.

I am tired of not getting packages because our delivery driver does not know how to use a call button. My whole family is home, we didn't see the driver until he drove off and left a "sorry we missed you" paper. Yeah you deliberately missed us. On purpose. Same as alway. You suck.

These people are so rude and unfriendly. I have never ever experienced anything like that in a post office before. I had a 1230 appointment for a passport photo. I was seven minutes early and he sent me back out to my car to wait until my time. There was nobody else in the building. I could not physically hand anything to the person and I touched the credit card kiosk and slightly moved it and he got all bent out of shape about that and moved it back. The 1 inch that I had moved it. Dude has some serious issues.

Every time I am to receive a package from USPS, it will state (customer requested for package to be held at post office and attempted delivery) on the day Im supposed to receive it. Even though there was never any attempted delivery made ( I guess my camera is faulty only when I’m supposed to be receiving a package) this is ridiculous and then I have to hunt mail man down or leave a note to get any response from them.

Yet another disappointment. I really thought they had fixed the problems over there. Last year I had a problem with this post office giving or stealing my packages that required my signature in order to be picked up.Now happy birthday oh sorry we're going to keep the gift cards your relatives sent your kids. Pretty coincidental that all my bills make it but everything of value does not.

I had a really bad experience with my passport appointment. The agent was condescentding, rude, unhelpful, eye rolling, face making, and Constant power trip. I had everything I needed, but it still took him over an hour to take care of me.Please go somewhere else where you can be treated with some respect.

New to the city, neighborhood has cluster boxes so I called to ask what I needed to do to get my key. The lady was very nice told me to come in and bring some proof that I lived in the house. I brought a copy of my title and water bill deposit. The guy at the counter said I had to have my mortgage papers. I don't have a mortgage. He said I had to have a certified copy that I owned the house. We did EVERYTHING online. I have no "certified" copies of anything. Anything can be printed but won't have signatures. He said he had never heard of doing it online. Told me to go to Cleburne to the courthouse. Sorry you haven't heard of it. It's 2023. Total condescending jerk. Highly recommend NOT using this post office.

I live closer to Cleburne so I’ve always went there but I had to come to Alvarado post office to get my sons passport and they were so much nicer!!! Explained everything and so patient! I went to the Cleburne post office to get my younger sons passport and the lady there was rude and impatient and did explain anything about how long it would take or anything about the fees. I will be using Alvarado post office from now on!

If I could give zero stars....I would. They used to be fantastic. 3 parcels "delivered to mailbox" in 8 days....empty mailbox. When you go to the facility to pickup package that doesn't fit in mailbox....gentleman you give your slip to has the absolute worst attitude and is complete cancer at communication.

I had just noticed that in the past month or two I have had missing stamped mail that I know should have been here by now or sooner. Prior to this I had never had a problem, but I’m frustrated now because I’ve lost 3 envelopes with my name on them. The funny thing is, how come other stamped mail that is issued under a relative’s name at the same address still comes through but mines doesn’t? This office is a mess

Just moved to the area and I ship packages for my business. I went in in advance to see how they would like me to bring in the large number of packages I ship. They said just bring them in and bring a USPS scan form. Came in with only 30 packages and a form and the man was very standoffish and was very annoyed I didn’t have them just picked up. (I’ve found that since most pickups are done in personal vehicles most of the times my pickups are too numerous to fit in them.) He told me to leave them on the counter with the scan form. Four days later and packages are JUST showing as accepted this morning with some still showing in PRE-transit. I went in to talk to them to see if some were lost and the lady treated me like I was ignorant and it must be a computer error. I explained if the scan form was indeed scanned then they should all have shown as accepted instead of trickling in as accepted throughout the week. I was honestly baffled at the lack of help and assistance. She wouldn’t even look or check on the status for me.

Worst post office I’ve been to in my life, there was a man in the front who was being rude to EVERYONE in line. I was there for my passport appointment and he even said at one point “I’m Sorry I cannot help you”.

I have lived in Alvarado for 12 years and mail service was great when the older guy that had the white jeep would deliver mail. Now the service sucks bad. I have missing mail all the time or all our neighbors exchange each others mail because they can't deliver it to the correct address. You would have better luck getting what you are suppose to in the McDonald's drive through from a 16 year old. Alvarado mail service is the most incompetent in history!

I sit here writing this knowing that it will make no difference, but here I go anyways… I’ve never met a lazier group of people in my life. Even with small packages they refuse to deliver them or even attempt to do so, and instead say they “attempted to deliver it” and just take it back to the office for you to pick up. It could be the smallest, lightest package and it wouldn’t make a difference. They frequently lose our mail and packages, and have terrible attitudes when we call to talk to them about it. If anything needs to be defunded it’s USPS!

We had passport appointment for our 9 month old son scheduled at 2 PM. When we reached the post office at 1:45 PM, the passport service window was closed. We inquired with the clerk inside and he told us that the employee accepting and processing the document had closed left for her doctor’s appointment. The clerk said that the employee would return around 2:30 PM. We had no choice but to wait. After waiting an hour until 3 PM, we asked to see a supervisor since that passport accepting employee still hadn’t returned. Finally an employee with a name badge “Rossie” opened the passport window at 3:40 PM. We, along with 4 other customers waited from 1:45 till 3:40 PM because the employee went on a doctor’s appointment. The postal employee wasted 2 hours of our time that cannot be compensated. This is ridiculous and unacceptable and that particular employee needs to be terminated for such behavior.

I would just like to make the public aware that JAMES tosses peoples mail. I got a new P.O. Box around February of this year. I frequently get mail from the person who had it before me so I take it up to the desk so they can sort it out. Rosie usually helps me and she is very kind and helpful. Today when I took it up there to JAMES he looked through it (about 8 pieces of mail) and said it was junk and to trash it. He also said since it’s my P.O Box now that I could do whatever I wanted with the mail that gets put in it. I told him that he does not get to decide whether or not someone else’s mail is junk and that I would not being throwing it away because that is wrong and im pretty sure it’s also illegal. As I was walking out I saw him toss all of that persons mail in the trash. I just wanted to make everyone aware in case you are missing mail it may have been trashed!!

There is a worker named James and he has told me that my package has already been returned or I already received it when I haven't and my tracker says it is still at their office but they "don't have it". It also took me 17 minutes to send one package. I already had the papers filled out and all he had to do was type everything in and usually takes 3-4 minutes max. A lady from the back and started helping people because a line was forming behind me and she served atleast 10 people in the time it took him to finish typing things in. 17 minutes is insane and I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience with this worker.

Absolutely the worst Post office I have ever HAD to deal with. And trust me.. I've had my fair share of experiences.The employee lie to your face just to get you out of the office. And when you call back the following today they act like they had no idea what I was even talking about. Happened on multiple occasions. I'm not for certain. However I feel like I SHOULD NOT have to live in a constant state of anxiety whether or not I am going to receive my package or have it get returned to sender. Ever signal time is it just Me? Or should post offices be RELIABLE?

If I could give it 0 stars I would, TERRIBLE SERVICE. & the man working there is extremely RUDE. I had priority mail I was waiting for coming from USCIS, I had a tracking number and it stated it was delivered to me on December 24th. I checked as soon as I saw that it was delivered and there was NOTHING there. Okay, it's Christmas Eve maybe that's why right? So I waited Monday and nothing, I decided to then call to see what was going on and was told they would send the carrier out there and retrieve it and to just keep on the lookout for it. Ok I waited and nothing, I then decided to personally go to the post office to get more help as to where it was delivered to so I myself could retrieve my mail, mind y'all it was an envelope not a huge packet anyone could have stolen. I went in and gave my tracking number and the same man helped me that I had spoken with, he then proceeds to tell me " i don't know what to tell you, if it says it was delivered then we did our job " okay, so y'all lost my IMPORTANT mail and that's all I get? Now I have to file a claim. worst experience EVER! this is the first time it's happened to where we don't receive our mail and the experience of trying to retrieve it or get some type of " help " was the worst.
