My husband and I are in town from Missouri and we came and looked around on a Thursday afternoon for fun. We weren’t at all hassled by sales people or made to give our info just to look. We have been to dozens of camper dealers all over the US. We just like to look at them as we will full time RV in a few years. This one was absolutely mind blowing with the amount of inventory. It was so nice that everything was unlocked and we could just help ourselves to look at them without a salesman following us around or only opening select units. We had so much fun and will definitely be back and even buy from them if we can.Only “con” was we are not too fond of Forest River for quality reasons and a lot of units there were Forest River. They are affordable and our first unit was a FR but they just have a cheap feel to them. They also had a lot of Thor.

Came all the way to Texas to pickup our RV that was exactly what we were looking for. We found this online with the best price with No haggle from the salesmen Ted. We got p/u from the airport by Joe who was very nice and friendly who talked about MHS to get us familiar!We got the RV after a walk thru with Harry our technician! Wonderful experience, huge selection. Great process. You are going to find something at this place, I promise you, and if you run out of time, there's a motel really close by. Highly trained technicians educated by the one and only blue Compass RV University next door. People come from all over the United States to attend school at this university, and it's readily available to the staff. The sales staff leaves you alone unless you need them and they even provide you with a golf cart to ride around on all day if necessary they have drinks available in the lobby and a resting area although there are plenty of places to kick your feet back trying out the recliners in the units.

I can't even begin to tell you what a joy it has been to work with these people in trading in our ACE for a Mirimar RV. We were on our way to Port Aransas and had to stop so our son pick up his new RV. He got such a great deal on his and they happened to have another one(which we fell in love with). So we traded ours for a new one! Our first experience buying an RV had been a disaster! Cowboy is a wonderful salesman, Matt is great in finance, Dustin was so helpful in parts and I can't say enough about Arturo going through the whole RV, showing us everything we needed know! Simply wonderful service!

Okay, I went here to look at RVs with my cousin. He had recently retired and wants to purchase an RV. He ask me about the “largest RV innovatory in the world.” I was like the closest I know of is the one in Alvarado, TX off 35. He said, “That’s the ONE!” I was all for going because it’s 30 minutes south down the road from me.Well someplace between the Motor Home Specialists and home my ONLY key went missing. Long story short, when we turned off the car we were stuck. They were great. They allowed me to leave my car in their secured lot, until my EXPENSIVE key arrived three days later. Christine and the guys are great. GO SEE THEM! Oh and they have the best RVs this side of the Mississippi!😃

Came to Texas from Indiana to pickup our RV because of price and them having exactly what we wanted. We spent the night in there camping lot at the recommendation of the sales team. We were met at the RV with air technician Harry, and he walked us through every button every plug-in every hose on the unit showed us how to use every single thing he is very thorough. And we felt very comfortable with everything. We spent the night and found a few issues, and Harry showed up the next morning and fixed every issue we had, and went above and beyond to make sure we were set up and happy. Great experience purchasing our new motorhome. The no pressure style of looking through the huge inventory was just right for us. They give you a golf cart and let you go look.We worked with Cowboy in sales and Billy in finance. Omar did the walk through on our new rig and answered all our questions. A few minor repairs were taken care before they set us up in the camping area for the night.Their store is small but has all the basics on hand. Dustin was great and even took a cart to the sales lot to verify a size for a product we wanted to purchase.Update: after spending the night at their camp ground we discovered a few small issues. We texted Cowboy and he sent Chris right over to take care of everything. Very impressed.

My experience at this dealership was awesome! I would give it more than five stars if I could. My salesman Buck was outstanding to work with. When the purchase was complete, I had a technician named Clovis who gave me a very thorough understanding of my newly purchased RV. To make the experience even more awesome, you get to stay in their campground for a couple nights at no charge if you wish to try out everything in your RV to make sure everything works before you drive away. I highly recommend anybody looking for an RV to check this place out their invitory is MIND-BLOWING.

I recently purchased an RV from Motor Home Specialists, and my experience was a mixed bag. While I'm thrilled with my new RV, the process of purchasing it was less than ideal. The salesman and manager were not the easiest to work with, making negotiations more stressful than necessary is the reason for the 3 stars.Despite encountering some challenges with the staff, I'm delighted with my purchase. The RV itself is fantastic and meets all my needs. It's spacious, well-equipped, and perfect for my adventures on the road.However, if Camping World had the exact model I wanted, I would have opted to purchase from them instead as the salesman that I had been working with was amazing. It's a shame that the customer service at Motor Home Specialist did not match the quality of their RVs.Overall, while I'm satisfied with my purchase, I hope Motor Home Specialist works on improving their customer service to provide a more seamless buying experience for future customers.

Great dealership that gave me a good price. "Cowboy" is great at helping you pick out a RV and follows-up if there are any issues that need to addressed by Service. Arturo was the technician who walked me through the features on delivery and did a good job explaining how to operate them. Although my new RV had several issues from the manufacturer, Service worked hard and tirelessly directly with manufacturer and component manufacturers to make sure everything was right before I left. Unlike many dealers, they do not sell you and dump you. I would buy from here again.

We had a great shopping and buying experience. Buck, the salesman; Chris, our walkthrough guide; Billy, finance; Dustin, sales store; and Matt, our flat towing guide; are fantastic. All of them were extremely helpful and patient on answering all of our questions, even if we asked the same question several times. We stayed in their park area for 2 nights, which I highly recommend. Any little tweaks we needed were handled quickly.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were a little hesitant to purchase out of state so far away, but for one, the price could not be beat on the unit that we wanted. It was extremely easy to handle paperwork even financing. Ted was our salesman and was great. Chris in finance went back and got a little more off of our interest rate for us. Omar was awesome going over the coach and demonstration and completing all the minor repairs that any previous motorhome owner knows, the units come out of the factory not perfect. It’s not a dealerships fault and what is unique is they actually have their own campground area where they encourage you to stay overnight to test and go over the entire unit closely. So instead of send you on your way quickly and leave it up to you to bring the unit back somewhere for these things, I was able to have everything taken care of right there. When a last minute thing came up and they were uncertain if they had the part, Omar appeared after hours with the replacement so I could leave on time early in the morning. Our motorhome is beautiful and I’m sure we will enjoy it for years to come. It can be frustrating to new motorhome purchasers to find out sometimes the manufacturing or the components aren’t perfect, or things break, it is a “ house on wheels”; however, frustrating as it can be it’s not a salesperson or dealerships fault. Every little issue was handled and everyone was friendly and helpful. Even the camping store people were great. Thanks again.

We had a great experience getting our motorhome with Mhsrv. David from sales was detailed, always available and helped us with our purchase fully remote. They were also very accommodating with the delivery date. We did our walk through with Chris and he was super patient and helped answer a lot of questions. He also helped us address a bunch of small issues that need touch up/fixes. Overall an amazing experience.

Traveled from out of state for the best price. Buying experience was good and the price was right. On the drive home started get alarms on the solar batteries. Calls back to MHSRV went nowhere. Service folks were "in a meeting" but would return a call when they finished. Guy I needed to talk to was off, but they put a sticky note right in the center of his computer for the next day. Return calls promised but never received. It would have been nice to get to talk to someone who could have actually tried to walk me through the issue for resolution or confirm it really was some faulty equipment.Good price, but don't expect much help after the sale. Hopefully it is better if you're local.
