Right away when I went to order my German Black Forest cake I was impressed by the quality of items, the hospitality, warmth, and fair price. When I picked it up received the same pleasant demeaner. Then, the real test. Would it transport my family back to celebrating Christmas when we were young. Most assuredly, it was delicious and just how we all remember it. Thanks so much for making this a Christmas to remember, and I look forward to coming back soon.

This bakery has it all! As a baker myself, I'm pretty tough to please. Moist,tender cakes, with a lovely assortment of flavors. Icing is important! Each different flavor profile was outstanding. I love this place! They are so sweet ( pardon the pun ) to their customers. Not to mention how good their cupcakes are. We haven’t been disappointed with every flavor we’ve tried. It’s easy to try the variety of goodies they bake up on Wednesday because they mark the regular sized cupcakes for a $1 each. Hope you enjoy.

Do not order from them, I asked for a Ombre cake with black and green with buttercream with NO WHITE. Did not get what I ordered and the cake tasted like it was a week old

I ordered an anniversary cake last minute. I couldn't think of what to get my wife. So I called How Sweet it is and asked for their help. My wife loves peanut butter cups, and that is all they needed to hear! With out delay they whipped up a work of art, and I looked like a hero when I presented it to my love! Big win! I just received a phone call from the shop they wanted to make sure I had my cake set for my wedding day.We went with someone else but How sweet it is is absolutely wonderful too! Amazing customer service and excellent products. We went in for a single (sugar free) cupcake for a friend's birthday and left with 1/2 dozen..... 🎂🍰🍪 🤭 We will definitely be back!! #shoplocal

My fiancé brought me some cupcakes home just now for my birthday that is this weekend and OMG I nearly called up to this store to thank her. These are so good and I feel incredibly happy after eating one. Each one I’ve tried so far even had an amazing smell. The maple bacon smelled like the most delicious breakfast ever and the mocha like a fresh ground latte. Thank you thank you thank you for baking these.

We just ran in quick for some quick treats, we had some cookies and cupcakes and they were SO GOOD! I wish I remembered the young woman's name that helped us she was so sweet and helpful. We will definitely be going back to How Sweet It Is.***Update**** We made a special trip for treats again today and got to meet Mrs. Thea! She was so kind and welcoming I just can not get enough of this place! We got some carrot cupcakes and they were absolutely amazing 😍 the cookies never disappoint either!! Thank you!!

Simply amazing! They did my carrot 3 tier wedding cake and strawberry cheesecake grooms cake. Both were so delicious. Everyone was so friendly. Well definitely be using them in the future again.

Run...don't walk away from this place. Wanted my sister to supply her own cookie cutters, when they advertise cookies very similar to the ones she wanted and her own sprinkles for the cookies. My sister tried to reach out for days to purchase a cake and cookies for a first time baby shower. You never bothered to return her calls or emails. Then, when you felt you weren't busy enough and finally gave her your time, you acted like you were "put out" and could not accommodate her request. I have used you for several occasions, have never been disappointed nor treated rudely, but you have just lost a loyal customer. This is no way in which to market or drum up new business, by the way, I had highly recommended you. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Moma Mathew's shop did a fantastic cake for my dad's 89th birthday party!Fresh spice cake with Buttercream icing.We added a half dozen cupcakes for the kids.For what I paid for this shocked me, it was worth wayyyyy more than what they charged.Fantastic work and I always recommend your shop!

First of all, the carrot cupcake was amazing! My husband went crazy over the Brookie!However. I could not have been more disappointed than I was today when I picked our pies.They looked like any grocery store pie. The crust looked like the prepared ones on the grocery store aisles.Notice there are no pictures of pies. My picture is somewhere.. ?But, the sign says "Cakes" .... not "Pies" anywhere. That should have alerted me to their priorities.Congratulations on your glowing cake reviews. I am absolutely sure you deserve them. I sincerely mean that!! I just wish I felt that way. I am embarrased to take these to our family gathering. Grandmother let them down.

I’ve used this bakery for years , kids birthdays , husbands birthdays , wedding , anniversaries .. and now my sweet little grandsons first birthday :) you name it and we’ve used them .I am a firm believer in the healing power of a fantastic and y’all , they have 1.00 Wednesday’s cupcakes !!!! And keep an eye out for those monthly special cupcakes because they do not disappoint! :) keep up the great work guys …. Not sure if they had a change of ownership but service has gone down hill. I sent an order via Fb and was told to call the store to finish my order, when i called the lady was frustraded saying how she could not find "the stupid order" after minutes on hold she just hung up. Yes the owner did try to reach out, but i decided to take my stupid order elsewhere.This place use to be owened by a sweet military family i highly doubt they are still running this business.

Have ordered 2 cakes in the last month from this place and they are AMAZING!!!!! I was very pleased with the work they did with both cakes just how I expected them to be. Also the taste, the sweetness just perfect. I definitely recommend this cake shop!!

My husband ordered me a chocolate cake with peanutbutter icing and it was hands down the best cake I have ever tasted with such a great consistency and the best melt in the mouth peanutbutter frosting. Enjoyed plenty of other sweet treats that were amazing too such as their thumb print cookies, pumpkin, strawberry cheesecake, and chocolate chip cookies. If your looking for a delicious brownie this is the bakery to go to as well, not to mention the wonderful staff! Keep up the awesome work ladies!

Every single store-bought German Chocolate cake I’ve purchased has been trash. They always taste super high in preservatives and the cake itself is dry. However, it is my wife’s favorite so every birthday I endeavor to find a better cake. I recently used this place to get a cake for work and it was good, (chocolate cake with butter cream frosting) so I thought I’d try to get them to make me a German Chocolate.Her birthday was on a Monday and the lady said they were closed on Monday, but I could pick it up on the Saturday before. I agreed to this, but when Saturday rolled around, I got busy with work and missed the pickup time by about 30 minutes. I work around explosives so I couldn’t have my cellphone on me and when I was able to check it, I saw they had tried to call me six times and left two voicemails. I tried to call back, but they had already left for the day, so I dropped a message on Facebook.At this point, I expected to just pick it up on Tuesday with my head down in shame. However, on Monday morning I received a call from them. They had received my FB message and they agreed to let me pick up the cake that afternoon.The cake was absolutely delicious and customer service was wonderful. 10/10, I would buy from them again.

I went in this bakery just before Christmas to buy some decorated Christmas cookies for my grand kids. There were 3 people working in there at the time. I told the man I wanted 6 decorated cookies that they had just decorated. He ask me which cookies I wanted and I told him. One of the ladies behind the counter told me I couldn’t buy the ones I picked out. I wanted 6 cookies. I picked 5 Santa cookies and 1 Christmas tree cookie. So the lady said I had to buy 6 different cookies. Ok not what I wanted. She had the cookies but wouldn’t sell me the cookies I wanted. The man and other woman was just as surprised as I was that she wouldn’t sell me the cookies. They were all very surprised when I told them if she wouldn’t sell me what I wanted then she could just keep them. I turned and walked out of their store. I was telling my family about this experience and my daughter in law said she had a bad experience in that bakery as well !So you are not the only bakery around. We will never come back to your store again! I have to say I will tell everyone I know to go some where. I already had another bakery anyway. I hope you go out of business!!
