Terrible. The manager for the pharmacy has poor customer service. Refuses to assist with any problems. Does not want to do the job. Go to another location. This pharmacy does not care at all!

This CVS has some issues. Not so much the store but the pharmacy is understaffed and over worked. Not large enough waiting area inside. It takes a long time to get your refills. The only reason why I go is because I get the best price compared to other places.

The CVS in Alvarado, Texas is very organized, clean and the crew is very helpful.You always see the same faces which as a business owner can tell their turn over is very low and thatā€™s amazing!Itā€™s obvious they work as a team and Management does a great job!Highly recommended šŸ˜ƒ

If you looked up the word incompetent in the dictionary, a picture of this CVS would appear. After experiencing COVID symptoms for a few days and learning that a co-worker tested positive yesterday, I went to the CVS website to schedule a COVID test. I have had previous tests here before with no issues. This particular location came up on the list with available appointment so I scheduled my test for today. When I arrived at my appointment time I was informed that they didnt have the equipment necessary to do tests. Excuse me, what? So after 3 years of this you dont have equipment to do testing? And being that school just started and we're heading into cold/flu season, you didnt have the foresight and critical thinking skills to order tests as they didnt have any tests in the store. The last thing i need to do is drive around looking for what should be a no brainer in stock. And why does this location show available appointments for tests? I better get a refund for what they charged me for the non-existent test. Completely incompetent and unacceptable. Last time I use this joke of a pharmacy.

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. Came in tonight to get formula for my daughter. When I pulled one of the cards off the shelf, an employee told me they were out of a majority of them. I then suggested them taking down the cards and she proceeded to give me the biggest attitude about it. Maybe yā€™all should look into more friendly and efficient workers instead of hiring people who canā€™t even bless yā€™all with the bare minimum.

I am so disappointed with this locationThey seem to never have the medication prescribed and it is more than a week to get it if at all.I have since transferred all of my scripts to another pharmacy. Between disrespectful pharmacy employees and not getting my meds I will no longer continue my patronage

Why would any medical related store (CVS) have a pharmacy employee with stringy blonde hair, partially hot pink, and wearing a mouse ear headband to help customers with their medications? Youā€™re in the medical industry. Look like it when youā€™re working.

It does not do any good to make an appointment here. They were 45 minutes late coming to set up, much less being ready to give the injections. Not a happy customer. I guess because they will give them free, they think theycan act this way. I do have insurance and think it is poor customer service or customer care.

If I could give no stars I would!!!! My husband has the flu and he got tamiflu ordered from teledoc. We drive all the way in the ice to pick it up and the lady at the counter was so rude and said they wouldnā€™t fill it because they all had to go home! They didnā€™t have their closing hours posted, we tried to call to see if they were open and no answer for 10 minutes. I hate this place with a passion!!!!

They are seriously short staffed so if you can go somewhere else, you may want to. I dropped a prescription off the night before at 7pm. They couldnā€™t fill it. Stopped by on my way home at 4pm. They couldnā€™t find the prescription that I dropped off. Finally they did and I had to wait another 10 minutes to get it. The whole time I kept hearing that there were people waiting on the phone. The woman that helped me was very nice but the lack of getting the prescription filled was ridiculous. I will not be planning on going here again anytime soon.

They said that my son have another insurance in which she did not I had to call Express scripts multiple times. Just not happy with the customer service and I would go to Alvarado pharmacy but my insurance will only cover CVS. But I was told buy Express scripts that Alvarado pharmacy can fill out their application for a Tricare provider so I hope so cuz I do not like CVS

This review is strictly for the pharmacy. The front of the store is great. Please send your prescriptions elsewhere. I have had numerous problems with this pharmacy. It really feels like they just do not care to be helpful.

Worst CVS I've been to. I was told the ONLY way to schedule an appointment is online. Doesn't makes sense! My parents are older, how are they going to go online to schedule an appointment? While I called to ask questions, they were rude and hung up on me before I finished.

I wish I could give a zero star review. I had RX's called in by Dr. Received an automated call from them letting me know they were ready. Drive to store, walk in, past 4 employees at front area, 2 in main aisle to the back, arrive at pickup to be told they are closed for 30 minutes and I'll need to come back. They're at least 3 employees behind that counter. No signs anywhere, looked on website, no mention anywhere of this lunch. Needless to say I'm having all of the RX's transferred to our local Pharmacy in Keene. Never another dime from me!

Horrible experience. I just had emergency surgery at a hospital and called CVS before I was discharged to give them my insurance information. They refused to take it over the phone. She just said ā€œitā€™s ok, just bring it with you when you come for the medsā€ Then we waited in line for 30 min at the drive thru and she wanted to use and old insurance I had on file and for me to over pay because she didnā€™t want to take my insurance card at the window. Her reason was ā€œthat the line backs up into the highwayā€ BUT .. we were waiting too and I canā€™t walk because I just had surgery. They made my son go inside to show the RX card even though they were the ones that were too lazy to take my information over the phone when I called from the hospital. Will no longer use this pharmacy. Iā€™m disgusted with their customer service. No compassion or empathy for their customers. That young lady at the window needs to find another job if she doesnā€™t like helping people.

The pharmacist is completely rude for absolutely no reason when speaking to customers, if you are not happy go to Walgreens or something but do not take it out on customers, without us CVS won't need you remember that!

Slowest drive thru pharmacy in existence. I understand that theyā€™re doing Covid testing too but Iā€™ve been sitting in their drive thru, stuck, unable to leave, for over 40 min now. Iā€™m not saying the line is moving slowly I literally mean the line hasnā€™t moved. I just need to pick up meds for my kid with Covid and donā€™t want to take her inside to infect further people. Changing pharmacies to one who isnā€™t going to take me 2 hours to get meds cause this isnā€™t a one off thing. Waiting an hour or more to get meds from this location has been normal since at least 3/2020

Absolute worst pharmacy.Prescription was suppose to be ready for pick up, told come back in a hour, still not ready.Came back next day. Was told itā€™s still not ready and the employees in the pharmacy were to busy talking about there bbq order than helping someone waiting in line. I walked out after 15 minutes of no outcome. Came back for the 4th time and still not ready. Demanded a fill and got it after 15 minutes of waiting. Changing pharmacyā€™s this place is a joke

The worst customer service at a CVS I have ever seen. Pharmacy calls and says prescription is ready. When I get there magically thereā€™s no medication ready. Once the tech found it I proceeded to have to wait 20 minutes because it actually wasnā€™t ready.

Every time I have gone there they are friendly, kind, and courteous. I see all these negative reviews and wonder if people have forgotten what it is to be human? I am pretty sure if it takes them a few minutes longer they are trying to make sure youā€™re getting just what you need and double checking to make sure whatever youā€™re being prescribed wonā€™t have adverse reactions with other meds.

Are you even going to the same CVS Pharmacy in Alvarado that I am?! They have always had my prescriptions ready soon after my doctor sends them in. I get texts confirming they are ready to be picked up. The wait in the drive through is rarely more than around 10-15 min. Much better than other pharmacies in Burleson I've been to. Its a great pharmacy with very nice employees!

They don't have prescriptions ready on time. They also don't care that you have to visit the store multiple times to get 1 prescription due to their screw up. Just go to Alvarado Pharmacy. They have a nearly 5 star review versus this pitiful excuse for a pharmacy

I canā€™t stand this pharmacy. They always seem so bothered to assist customers. I always see the lady pharmacist bare footed in the backā€¦..is that normal? Then the pharmacist refused to use GoodRx cause they were closing in a few minutes and said it would take too much time to enter. If I could give this a negative star I would. Terrible customer service all the way around.

Got there 8am and they were nothing but helpful. We are travelling and my last refill was from Michigan. It was transferred with no problem. In and out fast and they even updated my CVS account. They even applied the pharmacy discount to my order. Get here on time and everything works.

Always slow. Dont go here if you need it the same day. They always have an excuse. They can't understand the prescription directions. They just got the prescription. I went through drive thru. 3 People in front of me had to cicle around just like me...It's CVS fault. They need more employees. They work the pharmacy techs hard....

Arrived at 810 to pick up a prescription and although the sign says the pharmacy opens at 8 no one was there. I called the store and before I could get my question out a very rude employee interrupts me saying she knows and the pharmacist isnt here yet. I understand things happen but I certainly didn't need the attitude from her.

They gave me medicine my wife told them not to fill, I did not know this an d they wouldn't take it back. SO YOU HAVE LOST $700 A MOUNTH, I'M GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE A LONG WITH MY DOUGHTER WHO SPENDS ABOUT 800 OR 900 DOLLARS A MOUNTH . BY. Add on got home and looked it up a little over $4000 they won't be getting from me a MOUNTH all insurance and what comes out of my pocket
