Best selection for western style clothing. I don’t get down to this store often but it’s always a must stop if I am in the area. I always find greatest items for men women and the kids. I always want to buy everything. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

Went here expecting feed & supply and got so much more. The whole front of the store is nice western wear. Not cheap quality but not unaffordable either. Tons of boutique clothing, boots, hats, accessories for both men and women and a small amount of kids. Spent about 1.5 hours here on a snowy day and it was so fun to try on boots and fun clothes. Left with a bag full.

Local service like you get at Way out West, trumps national chains any day. The wide selection of products and in- depth of knowledge of the local area make this the only logical choice for any of your farm and ranch needs. I can’t say enough about the kind and friendly service I received here. Do yourself a favor and pay a visit to the great folks at Way Out West, you won’t be disappointed.

Was very impressed by this little feed and supply shop that also has amazing western wear! I wasn’t sure what to expect but I immediately fell in love with a pants and top combo. I also bought a new pair of cowgirl boots at a very reasonable price. This shop has more than just cowboy/cowgirl wear as well. I actually wear the items I bought to work and on date nights. Great selection no matter if you’re from the country or the city! A must stop shop for anyone passing through Alpine.

I moved to Alpine in July 2021 and started working at outwest. I loved it at first until the owners came back a week later. I've never been so disrespected by "bosses" if you even want to call them that in my life!! they are disrespectful and treat all employees like they are nothing.they only care about themselves, they will disrespect you in any way possible even in front of customers. If you apply here just know if you aren't to Kims standards you won't get hired. what I mean by standards is weight and how pretty you are. the only great reviews I read is how good the customer service is which has nothing to do with the owners. To all the employees who have worked and who work for outwest that's what is keeping people coming back. Unless you fall for the fake smile and gratitude you receive from the owners.

If I could give 0 stars I definitely would. Ever since this business sold and is under new owners it is HORRIBLE. Don't expect much customer service from the woman who is suppose to be the owner or anyone else in the front. Walked in one day to look around at the new selection of clothing, no one even smiled at me. I've been doing business with Johnson's for years and now it's just horrible. A majority of the former employees who had been there with the original owners aren't there anymore, that says alot. I feel sorry for the ones that are still there. Tourists may bring you business but locals keep you open and when you treat them like they don't matter, well that isn't good for business. I'll take my business and my money to someone who will appreciate it and who treats people who helped build that business like they mean something!

Just had a wonderful experience at this completely unexpected feed store! Visiting Alpine Tx in the Big Bend country, I wanted to buy a pair of cowboy boots. I know I could buy cowboy boots anywhere in Texas, but it's all about the experience! The young ladies were absolutely wonderful and kind and even more helpful than I was accustomed to! Small towns seem more obliging than big cities and they made shopping fun! Thank you ladies! Love my cowboy boots! 😀

I love the store it has a little bit of everything. They always have racks of sell items through the store. I have purchased boots, jewelry and a Brighton watch. My husband has purchased several hats. We always visit the store when we are in Alpine Texas.
