When y’all changed the look of the store you added things we don’t want and took away things we love. Like gold peak tea, off brand face wash, half the frozen food options, etc. I even heard an employee say, “People keep leaving without buying anything.” Probably cause we can’t find what we’ve been buying from you for years. Thanks for changing things up like small towns don’t like. It’s as if you didn’t even consider the customers when you made this change.

Practically everything you need in one store. It was super busy with 2 checkout lanes open and a dozen people waiting in line six feet apart. Three employees were stocking shelves. They were all friendly and helpful.

I love this Dollar General, such friendly & helpful staff! This store is always well organized! Great deals and sales! Friendly tip: if you buy after holiday candy, go to the store quick, such great deals the candy goes fast! An easy 5 stars! ⭐️

This is probably like the closest thing to a Walmart for 50 miles. This is like pretty much the only place to buy junk made in China in town. Lots of things are a dollar but there are also a lot of things that don't cost a dollar. That's good. If everything was a dollar that would be kind of sketchy. I wouldn't trust a lot of things if they only cost one dollar. Imagine if a gallon of milk was one dollar. Where'd that milk come from? What are those cows eating? Who knows. But those cows certainly got a raw deal. Hopefully they're eating better now. I'm cool with paying $3 for milk as long as those cows are fat and happy and pasteurized.

I would have given 3 stars for "average". However, on this visit, and my previous visit, I have found it to be difficult getting the correct price when I am at the register. Although true at many stores now (where the price listed on the shelf is not what rings up at the register), this store makes it difficult to even know the price on the shelf because items are not shelved properly. Also, 70% of the time, boxes are sitting in the isles and it is difficult to actually get to something wanted that is on a shelf.

It's always up and down with the store. They frequently have new employees, the turn over rate is high. It's not always organized or well kept, things are messy. They do however, have friendly staff as far as I've seen. I haven't had any problems with any of the staff members. The experiences have been generally good. There is often a long wait in the evenings, so I would suggest avoid the store by going in the mornings, even on weekends.

Dollar General needs more employees to help customers in the aisles and for the cashiers to cashier. They have one person doing everything. The employees try to do the best they can. Dollar Store company needs to do better in their stores. have more employees to work out Freight, better customer service, better looking stores. Every time we go to the store the shelves are empty, or they're stacked up in the dolly with no one to work it out.

Every time I go in there they have hardly any products on the shelves. Need to hire more people so they can get the trucks put out . And yes, I used to be an assistant manager at a Dollar General and we got the truck out and kept the store clean . Someone needs to have a come to Jesus with this store

To this day I have not had a bad experience at DG. In fact they have a Nice and Friendly staff. Amy and Billy and their staff are friendly and outgoing. Sure there are days the line is long but worth the wait. Friendly prices and Staff keep me going back. Of all the Dollar general stores I have been too the Alpine store is the only store that the cashier keeps saying " Welcome to Dollar General. None of the others Dollar General stores between Alpine and Midland Odessa area greet you in that fashion. Keep up the good work Amy and DG Staff.

Love that this particular dollar general carries a variety of items and supplies. Better than others I've seen. Staff is friendly, very hard working always ensure shelves are stocked.

Most of the staff is welcoming and friendly. The manager tends to have a bit of an attitude and seems unhappy to be there. The store tends to have boxes in the aisle longer than should be.

Always friendly, reasonable selection of goods, always seems to be busy. Easily noticed from US 90 (Holland Ave Eastbound and Avenue E Westbound) on the west end of Alpine. Easy access from either street.

I didn't get the name of the cashier, but her singsongy ways of welcoming people and colorful and bright personality really seperates this dollar store from the rest. Not to mention Dollar General ALWAYS has what I'm looking for, especially in the automotive department, and at great prices, and that really helps!

Surprisingly well stocked and much better prices on canned food and snacks than the Alpine grocery store. If you're heading to Big Bend Ranch State Park or the National Park, you definitely need to stock up here rather than further south.

Smaller DG in far west Texas. Very well stocked. Clean bathroom. Low prices and just enough quirky merchandise to make it fun. Staff was professional and friendly.

They always have great prices! Staff is helpful. The store gets used a lot so it can get very messy at times but not dirty.

Fast in and out store. My to go store for cigarettes. A little trashy from time to time. Always something in your way. Always puttering merchandise on the shelves, but never quite done.

A great place to stock up on name brand items at a discount rate. Cleaner and better organized than the other dollar store. Also frequently out of stock on many items, and there is usually a long line because there is only one register open.

You just never know when you're going to need something that you don't have. This place is like a Walmart in Dallas. Whether you groceries, or clothes or you just got the munchies his place has what you need.
