One of my favorite natural foods stores. I used to deliver meat and produce to these stores a few years back. KS, MO, TX, OK LA, always bought something while they were unloading meat and produce. From health supplements to breads and delicious Boarshead products custom deli sandwiches. Clean, well merchandised, friendly workers; it's just a pleasure being there as a shopper.

Love this place.Very friendly and polite informative produce section. The swordfish is bigger and better than at HEB. They have bison meat! And the bulk foods are awesome. So glad I found SPROUTS.

I was there last week looking for some vitamins and the gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable at what we needed to take. He recommended more vitamins. The employees are so helpful every time we go into the store, very nice and clean store.

Definitely love coming here. Love the fresh produce and the variety of it as well. You struggle to find certain veggies at local HEB but now you can find here. Great variety of vitamins and natural supplements. They offer great customer service help qith any questions you might have. I love the layout to be honest. You dont know where something is you just look up and they have the section names Big and Bold up top for you.

Ask for your tuna sandwich hot! They can prepare your order, just fill out a paper sheet with all the available ingredients, I ask for my sandwich extra toasted and with pickles.They have really good stuff and specials! Seating area available for you to enjoy your lunch. Sandwiches are not hot and ready so plan your trip. Buffalo chicken wrap is delicious too!

On 1/28/23 I called the store at 8:55pm to ask the time the meat market closes, lady said "we close at 10pm", I asked again "the meat market too", lady assured yes until 10pm. I showed up at 9:15pm to buy some wings and they were already cleaning up, wings had been put away. I asked the meat market attendant if I could still get some wings, be said no. I made the trip to just waste my time. So, my question is, at what time does your meat market closes?

There are pros and cons about Sprouts-- first the pros: you can find foods at Sprouts that you cant find anywhere else, like quality Belgian Ale, fresh organic grain sprouts, quality baked breads, including gluten free types, vegan pastries and protein bars, a wide assortment of uncured ham and bacon (no added nitrites and nitrates) and an assortment of organically grown fruits and vegetables. The cons? I'll never forget the time when I opened a package of bacon the day after I bought it at Sprouts to discover that it was spoiled and two weeks past its expiration date! I had always assumed that Sprouts was more careful about expiration dates than other store brands, but no! not so...HEB, Vitamin Shoppe, and Walmart are all 100% more careful about monitoring the expiration dates of their products than Sprouts, so always check the dates on deli meats, supplements, and eggs and milks, or you'll be unpleasantly surprised like I was. Then there is the issue of selling packaged cuts of filet mignon and ribeye that are marketed as grass-fed, organic, and high-quality, except for one problem: there's a good chance that $27.00 tenderloin filet you're taking home, anticipating the juicy, tender mouth-watering meal you'll be having will taste like a piece of cheap, tough round steak when you try to bite into it because its been previously frozen for weeks back in the deep freeze-- ask me how I know. The first time that happened to me at Sprouts I thought it was a fluke, but the second time it happened, I knew it was store policy to freeze their quality cuts-- which is a mortal sin with prime cuts-- freezing destroys the flavor, texture and nutritional value of expensive meats. You wont have this problem at HEB because their meat turnover is so high, their quality meats get bought often. Final gripe: If you get to Sprouts after 8:30 pm and load up your grocery cart, just be aware that you'll have to spend 20+ minutes checking yourself out because the cashiers go on strike after 8:30 and just stand around and gossip with each other. Sorry, Sprouts, "La verdad duele..."

Pretty good, the variety is good but not amazing. You'd think they would be the first to ban plastic bags, but I guess that's too much to ask from anywhere in Texas. So far the best place in McAllen for vegan and healthy food.

I love Sprouts! I don't get to go here as often as I'd like, but I love the small-town feel of the grocery store. There is an excellent and very unique selection of so many things. I always come out with something new to try. The soup bar and deli are amazing, too. Enjoy! Update: Still amazing!

This chain of specialty foods has much to learn about customer service. I stood in front of the deli counter and was never acknowledged by either employee. They seemed more involved in their tasks rather then taking care of customers .
