I got stared at a few times probably because i had a bath and body bag but not asked if I needed help finding something. The complete store was rearranged. I had a good experience with the cashier atleast and was happy to find dog treats for 4.99 x 4 finally.

Ashely in the grooming salon was amazing!! She made my dog feel comfortable and even took the time to let me know how the experience was when I picked her up. She was very sweet and caring! This store is also very clean and stocked.

So glad you asked. I have been in your store 3 times in the last 4-5 months. The first time I was overcharged because the item was misplaced. The second time I was overcharged for an item and the checkout clerk gave me a refund. And again yesterday, I was overcharged and didn’t catch it til Ingot home. I plan to talk to the store manager , but I’m beginning to think this is more than just a coincidence. If it happens again, I’m going to the news media!

Was there early so wasn’t really awake. I remember how sweet and kind the cashier was. She helped me change the phone number on my account. Everyone at my local store is always very helpful, courteous and kind. I don’t really like going enywhere else.

Not a sole spoke to us, went in picked out dog food could not find the same one we always purchase. Went to check out they could not see on history of purchases, told us we had not ever purchased dog food there??? But we are loyalty customers …on receipt!

Always satisfied; consistently have my old man and my new born's food in stock! I love my fur-sons (2 dogs) and happy Petco comes through.I placed an order online, which was delivered in a timely manner. Wrong food. I call Allen, out of thier hands at site level. No problem, call 1800- they tracked the activity and realize that yes, the wrong food was delivered. They immediately replaced the order and had it delivered my 5pm. 10/10 to Petco!

From customer service reps to the vets to the groomers this place all around does not care about animals or even being nice to their customers.For example, grooming today. First time. Called and asked if i needed to bring anything. Made 5 weeks in advance. My dogs are 45 lbs each. Which they know. So it’s hard for me to bring both to anything. They refused to groom bc they were too nervous to get in their kennels and aren’t small enough for them to carry them anywhere. When i saw a smaller dog fight them the whole way in. This is discrimination. It was also never disclosed prior to the appointment. How hard is it to provide something that says if your dog is large they need to be fully trained in a strange situation to just hop in the kennel. I told them i agreed with them but pls disclose it in the future to not waste trips has energy etc. instead of being a good customer service rep they refused to agree with me and even went as far to say my dogs eyes were bloodshot which is a sign of abuse. Slander is no little thing you know!!! My dogs aren’t even a year fully vaxxed spayed microchipped fed food loafs you don’t insinuate abuse just bc a big puppy is nervous. I am so offended i could scream.

This place is where I got my favorite fish!I got my favorite fish here because I needed a few more fish to fully house my tank, and then I found a pink purple betta fish. I absolutely love her and I gave her her own tank, if I didn't go here then I would have never had this beautiful fish

I went with my son. He said he could go to the big chain stores or membership retail outlets but there's a much better selection and healthier food here for his dog. So I can pass that on to you even if I didn't have the experience.

Been to this location many times and Paul is always very helpful, armed with all the info I need to help me make the right choices for my pups. Patient with my questions. Helped me find a dog food that won’t give my dogs stomach issues! Give this guy the kudos he deserves for consistently great customer service!

I wanted to purchase merchandise but the store charged for bags. Having to navigate a busy road with a dog and hanging on to a plethora of toys and treats seemed extremely dangerous. So I did not purchase most of what I had planned to purchase and instead decided to order from Amazon who does not charge for bags, boxes, or shipping.

Petco recently instituted a policy of charging $0.10 for a plastic bag to carry out a purchased item. This is a good step to show onlookers every piece of plastic counts. What I don’t agree with is your employees providing, unsolicited and free of charge, disapproving looks and body language if a reusable bag is presented by the customer which bear the logo of a competitor like Pets Mart, or Pets Supply Plus, for example. The goal of your policy is to reduce plastic waste and to additionally offset the overhead cost of customer packaging. It would go a long way to educate your employees that the policy for plastic waste and overhead reduction is being fulfilled and the competitors shopping bag being presented is a reminder that your customer choice was to spend their money with Petco.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The store is clean, and the inventory rotates enough that you don't have to buy the same things for your dogs or cats. Fish selection is great, and the fish are well taken care of!

I have lived in Allen for a very long time and tried multiple times to use this location. They loose me every time! Dogs, birds, guinea pigs, and fish… they need to train their people better and it clearly starts at the top of this store. I tried to exchange a little female guppy that died from stress. Not a lot of money for them. The manager I guess was covering a lunch when I bought them. She has no business dipping fish! She was so rough I am surprised they all haven’t died. 1 did. As I thought they might. I shouldn’t have taken them after witnessing they they were handled but I did. Went to take one back that had died in a bag w water from the tank and proceeded to hear about how I need to bring a water sample that this time they would exchange but not again. Hello the fish was in water from the tank!! I give up!! $1.48 cost you a customer this time forever!!

Great fish supply, and Billy was absolutely amazing! Very knowledgeable, told us about the VitalCare program, and was super nice and friendly. This is THE BEST Petco location! Billy informed us that this is a magnet location, which means they have fish other locations don't have, and you can even special order, and they will have it shipped to the store! Then, when you see it, if it isn't what you pictured it to be, there is no obligation to get it. Come here for your pet needs! Not only great selection of fish, but other animals as well, along with great specials and discounts!

Had to wait 10 minutes at cash register no one at front of the store could help . None of cash registers were manned. When ask assistant if he possibly ring up sale. He told me to wait a minute. This was after 10 minutes of standing there.

I have an older dog who hates being groomed, & now that I work from home, hates being separated from me. The staff there treat her gently & with care. They go out of their way to make her feel comfortable. She only spends about an hour there. I won't take her anywhere else.

We are pretty new to having fish and have been struggling even more to learn how to maintain are aquarium especially with our wonderful Texas water but out of all the stores we have visited, and there are a few, this one has the best and most knowledgeable staff and a decent selection of fish. But most recently I was just about to start a new aquarium and told the guy that was working in aquatics about my struggles and had a bottle of expensive water treatment in my hand and he immediately stopped what he was doing told me his honest opinion on that product and recommended something else that was way less expensive and gave me a few tips on set up and preparing the new tank and I ended up spending Less then I planned on more products then I had come for on that trip. And today I came in to complete my tank with the final fish addition which I was not aware that it was a adoption instead of a full price and I really wanted to say thank you to April for taking the time to catch the extremely fast and hard fish I had come to get and never once seemed to be bothered by having to take so much time for a small sale. I will be a life long customer because of those two associate's.
