If I could give zero starts I would.I went to the mall once and walked in, saw a puppy fell in-love and bought him that same day. I wish I would’ve done my research about this place. My puppy started pooping blood / diarrhea as soon as I brought him home. I spent thousands of additional dollars on vet bills and they only reimburse for medication which takes forever! They offered to return the dog but that was an immediate no because he’s been part of our family since day one. Needless to say its been 2 months since I brought him home and we still haven’t gotten rid of the diarrhea and blood.

Don’t listen to the ridiculous reviews from fake animal rights cry babies. This place is immaculate! Nice spaces for the dogs and play pen area and private sections to meet a puppy. Smelled super nice. Every stall 100% clean with comfortable shavings. Clean water/ food provided. Much much nicer than any kennel/ rescue/ dog pound I’ve ever been too. People find anything to cry about these days, this place is not one. Go fight real abuse.

This store in the plaza mall is very concerning. They have many dog even though the space is very limited. Many cages displaying dogs and some cages have more than one dog. Very sad to see animals in that condition. Kids do enjoy seeing them

Palm Valley animal Shelter regularly euthanizes unwanted dogs and puppies every single day and this place is able to operate from animals from a puppy mill for profit. These animals are are a full-time job ,not toys. If they sold animals from the shelter maybe it would be more ethical.

SHAME ON LA PLAZA MALL! How can they allow this PUPPY MILL BUSINESS to set up shop?! The puppies are crammed in cages, sick, with no moving air, nor water. This is a cruel business and should be SHUT DOWN! DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY! Go visit Palm Valley or Yaqui Animal Rescue if you are looking for a new companion.

It's a puppy mill. There are many things wrong with this.Besides being a crowded large place. It's cramped, small too bright.. Frankly what happens to the puppies after getting out of their puppy stage? It only encourages for more puppy mills, and leaves places like shelters and foster homes crowded with no other options but to place them to sleep.I'm ashamed of the plaza mall and the RGV for this.Adoptdontshop.There are puppies in shelters waiting. Older ones as well who have been trained. Givethem a chance. Who knows maybe they were on e from puppy mills too.

So first off me and my cousin where seeing the dogs and I felt saddened to see them in limited space. Most were asleep and overall the little space did not look something meant for a dog let alone multiple dogs in one.My cousin started to record because we did not see the signs because we were distracted with the dogs. When employees saw my cousin record one of them became confrontational as she tried to put down her phone.Another employee said “are you being serious” and said something about a sign. And wI finally saw the most non eye catching sign to have ever exist. We ended up leaving because I was freaking out about the fact that they almost snatched her phone

If you ask them if the puppies are up for adoption they will tell you the animals are on sale only. This is not an animal shelter but a puppy mill. It won't take you long to realize something is very off about how they keep the animals in tiny cages. Once the puppy grows into a dog the animal is then sent off and euthanized.DO NOT BRING BUSINESS TO PAWS PARADISE

How is this place still open??? My mom and I couldn’t believe there was a shop like this in the mall! These poor animals are confined in such a small area, with barely enough room for them to move around. The only cushion provided for them are shreds of paper. The employees don’t take their eyes off of you since pictures/videos aren’t allowed. They don’t leave you alone lol. I pointed out to one of the girls working there that one of the puppies had poop in its spot. It had rolled around in it, and looked like it had been there for quite a bit. She rolled her eyes and seemed to have been bothered by that. She walked away without saying anything and went to “the back.” This is very sad, I’m disappointed that a business like this is being accepted. Do better, Valley.

It’s sad seeing the dogs in such a limited space there is hardly any space for them to walk or play around unless they are taken out of the box they are in. It does not matter whether they are “clean” no animal should be stuck in a small container.🙄

puppy mill in a mall? seriously? i was one of the many who was entranced by the sight of the puppies when they first opened but realized quickly just what a horrible living situation this place is for any animal. if you’re looking for a dog, do NOT go here: you’d probably have better luck finding a dog on the side of the road with better health. adopt, don’t shop!

I had went when it had first opened and being in there it was obvious there was an elephant in the room. Could tell no one felt comfortable about these dogs being at a mall that isn’t well ventilated. In recent events I have seen online they have added more dogs, and some being put together in the display. completely selfish the owner should be ashamed of themself.

The fact that this “business” exists makes me feel ashamed of the RGV. Walking by and seeing this felt like an episode of Black Mirror. #AdoptDontShop

Honestly the place knows it’s stuff, super helpful and super friendly staff, takes care of their animals and dogs are vaccinated.

Animals are thousands of dollars and kept in inhumane conditions with their feces and no food. Puppies have parvo and are neglected. Basically, a puppy mill. You can adopt a dog at a local shelter for $40, or less. Palm Valley gives them their shots, spay/neuter, and more. Adopt, don't shop!I hope they shut down this cruel place soon. Owners have no souls.

don’t shop here if you love animals. The puppies are clearly from puppy mills and kept in poor conditions

Do not buy from this place. When I first ever went, it was hot in there, literally no air circulation at all. They didn’t even have food or water bowls in the boxes for them. Went viral on Facebook for them having dogs with parvo and no refund. Idk why la plaza approved of this place.

So Sad & Heartbreaking the way they have these animals here! They are kept in very small spaces and are left crying and whining all night long! It’s so sad and disgusting to have or to support a business like this! There are tons of animals at the shelter waiting for their furever home! ADOPT DONT SHOP!

Poor POOR conditions these animals are in. I have no idea how this business is still running. They look sick, the cages or whatever they’re in look dirty, plain and boring for them. It’s heartbreaking to see the conditions they’re living in and knowing this business is still open and running.

Animals look sick, way overpriced and just poor conditions for the animals. You'd be better off adopting from a local shelter.
