Dr. Sam and the whole Wilkinsonsstaff were prompt and diligent both times I've taken my babies (chickens) for care. They were very precise and clear on extended home care for my chicken. Both are doing well and I feel at ease knowing that Wilkinson Veterinary is the place that have the knowledge and experience in not only domestic pets but farm animals as well. I live 30 miles away but worth the drive for excellent care.

We have been taking our pets to Dr. Sam since 2018 when he helped us with one of our dogs when no other Vet could.The entire staff is friendly, dedicated and caring and we trust our dogs to no one else.It's a 90 mile round trip from Corpus and worth the drive!

Amazing service! I went in today because my dog was having an allergic reaction to a vaccine that was given to him this morning from a different vet. My puppy had a completely swollen face , and needed attention as soon as possible. Although I’m not from Alice and was traveling , the Wilkinson Vet was the closest office. We were immediately given service despite the fact that they stopped taking walk ins about an hour before my arrival. It was a clean and welcoming environment with very kind staff. This situation really shows that The Wilkinson Vet Office truly cares about the animals they service. The following pictures show before and immediately after my visit with this vet. Definitely recommend!!

Our Riley ate half a bag of chocolate, foil, Christmas present, gift wrap. She had a terrible tummy ache. The Vet reassured us that she was going to be okay. They spoke with me throughout the week. Gave her medication. Examined her several times and checked for an obstruction. I would definitely recommend them.

My pet died in my arms less than a day after seeing this vet. The vets said he was fine with all blood work and everything but his problems got worse and he didn't improve with his breathing. I will NEVER trust the standard "vet" again or it's disgusting medications that can cause death in animals. I will use holistic vets in the future if I ever get a pet again. I have no hatred for the vets themselves, but rather the nasty medications they are taught to use that sometimes only bring pain and suffering. I am angered my time was cut short with my beloved dog after taking the several medications prescribed. I was just desperate for my baby to be able to breathe and be ok again had I known they'd have caused him to die I would've never given them to him. Holistic vets should be considered by everyone as natural remedies won't cause your pet to die scared and in pain. Curse you big pharma.

Dr. Sam, along with all of the other techs and staff, are a fantastic team! They work so well together & provide and very positive atmosphere to help ensure your pet is getting the best care. I personally take my cat and dog to this vet clinic. My dog is always happy to see Dr. Sam as he always plays and makes sure she doesn’t get nervous or scared. I have personally had Marcella, Kass, Tracey and Beth help me as soon as I walk through the door. They are always happy to see my girls!!

My 2 dogs and I had a great experience at the vet clinic last week. The staff is friendly, caring, professional, and knowledgeable! Dr. Sam and Kassy took great care of my pet’s needs and did an excellent job making my dogs feel at ease during their visit. The two of them were able to answer/address any questions or concerns I had regarding my dogs. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit and so were my pups! I’ll definitely be going back.

I used this vet clinic regularly for boarding. I have a piece of mind that my geriatric pet, fritz, needs are met. He is always happy and clean when I pick him up. This piece of mind that he is safe and if great hands to handle any of his medical needs allows me to enjoy my time away. All the staff is professional and attentive to my needs and fritz needs. Dr. Sam Wilkinson is so awesome! He did not know me from Adam and he went out of his way and tried his best to take care of my gusty girl and she did not pull through. When I first called him I knew my cat Lola would not make it. .I had only previously seen Dr Wilkinson in premont and his son here in Alice has every ounce of his passion and love for animals . He definitely has a special place in my heart and my family's heart for doing all he could for our special girl we will definitely take all our pets here from now on .Thank you so much!

I usually hate taking my poodle to the vet because he always gets so anxious but the staff made everything go smoothly. The staff was super friendly and caring. They made the experience all worth it. Kassy was even able to calm my dog down by being sweet and gentle with him. They became best of friends soon after. The vet dr. Sam also was able to answer any questions and concerns I had. I was very pleased with the service.

Professional and courteous seems to be a priority at this clinic. Our little cat has been having health issues for the last several months which our previous vet seemed unable to diagnose. Dr. Wilkinson ran the right tests and prescribed medications that have our cat acting more like himself than he has in a LONG time! We thought the Doctor and his assistant (Kassy) were awesome.

I had a great experience with Dr. Sam. He was very gentle with my dog and everything was done in the room in front of me. Their vet tech, kassy, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Boarding was a very reasonable price and they treated my dog great. Very pleased with my experience.
