Got a pizza( thin crust),my favorite and a bbq sandwich for less than $25. Still in my top 3 for places to get quick , good tasting food $$ a good price.

Friendly staff, and the place is usually pretty clean. The cooked food is real good for takeout from a gas station. A few things that aren't the best and why it's a 3-star: $5 minimum for debit/credit cards, frozen food might not always be in date, and the selection of non-alcoholic drinks is very limited. Considering it's one of the only gas stations in Alba, I can understand the selection but having a $5 minimum makes me second guess stopping here when I come through Alba.

I won't return here again. I want to start by saying the food and other products I got here was just fine. I don't know if it was the owner or manager I had to deal with but he was rather unpleasant to deal with. We had to wait a little while here while waiting for our crew to grate a nearby road for us to work on. The man come out and asked us to move our equipment because it was in the way. We complyed immediately. An hour later he came out waving his arms for us to leave the property. We only had 2 trucks and I myself spent $50 at least in there. If that can't buy me a few minutes in the parking lot they don't need my business for sure. Like some other places I've marked a note in my maps to never return to this store again if I come back in 2 years or 5.

Obviously they don't like any new business!!!Went in for a drink and another small item.My total was just over $4. The clerk refuses my services due to a $5 Minimum. I could understand maybe a $3 min. But $5 come on !!!This is 2022 not 1994. No one caries cash anymore. If you can't run a card for under $5 without a issue then something is truly wrong. What I see is cheap ownership. Someone does not like paying the credit card fee's unless they are making a grip off of you. That is not right and I will never return again. I will also advise my employees to skip this place of business.1 more issue that I didn't like, I was told to go to the laundry mat next door to use the restroom. That is very unprofessional especially since they serve hot food !!!!So in other words if you want to wash your hands before you eat , you must leave the business and go next door to simply wash your hands. Not to mention I almost threw up walking in from the disgusting fried food smell !!!

First time at this location. Walking through the store came with ease, due to the cleanliness and neatness of dress of items. I was ecstatic with the selection of items, finding everything from water to fishing lures. Wonderful customer service and that southern hospitality that makes me a proud Texan made me feel like I known those charming associates all my life. Keep keeping the standard, God Bless!

Over-priced on many items and always very slow. The adults are alright and occasionally friendly, but the younger clerks know nothing of customer service. I once stood at the register for 12minutes well the cashier finished their conversation they were having sitting at a table when I walked in- while making eye contact with me several times.The young female, Emily I believe, never wants to make any food, but pizza at night. Asked for cheesesticks and her reply was that should couldn't. When I inquired why... she said her fryer was off. Okay.. so turn it on.. Several examples of complete lack of customer service and rude laziness from her.

It has really gone down hill since i have been comming here. Each clerk seems to have their own rules and those rules seem to change on a daily basis. Today i saw someone buying beer and they let their young child carry it, that is a no no and illegal in the state of Texas.If the owner of this store is curious about why their food sales may be suffering, its because the clerks dont know the products. When i first started comming here i went in to order food and the clerk knew what they had, what they could make, what was on the product, and how long it would take to make it. Now two years later i go in there and ask a food question and noone knows anything, their reply was "i dont know". If you are not going to train your staff as to what your are selling food wize from the kitchen, then why even sell food at all, you might as well just close down the kitchen.A few weeks ago i wanted two burritos and was told i had to spend $5 to use my card, so i went and got some crackers, still not enough. I told them to put the stuff back and left. If you dont want sales then just put up a sign that says "dont buy anything we dont want your business" . But then i go back the next day and the regular clerk sells them to me no problem and without a $5 requirement.The owner needs to answer a question "Are you in business to serve the public and to earn more business, or are you just in business to get money from whoever happens to wander into the store". If you are not here to serve the public and earn business then maybe you should sell the store to someone else that cares about that stuff.And yes i agree typically the clerks are all business and quite cold and rude more than not.

Super friendly staff. Went for goldfish and was treated like the most important customer there. Excellent atmosphere, clean, and well stocked. Highly recommend!

I drive a route truck, and use this store alot! They always have fresh, hot cooked foods available for takeout. It's a nice oasis in the small town area!
