I like this place! This place is big and has plenty of items normally found at other Dollar stores and more. After years of searching for an inexpensive solar light, I believe I have found a good deal. however it does have a flaw. but if you add some glue sealant too the top part of the compartment connections, it is excellent! I you turn it "on" on the low light setting it will stay on all night until morning and will turn on bright automatically when it senses movement even on cloudy days.. not bad for $12.49. as for the store, parking is sometimes limited and the only bad thing is I believe it doesn't offer returns or exchanges.

take forever to help costumers with only 1 cash register open then want to be disrespctful to your face when you ask if another cash register can be opened. rude rude rude 🤥

Went today at 8pm and store closes at 10pm, was in line for 15 minutes or so and the line kept adding and adding. Only one cashier was open and when another employee was asked if there was another register open she said “NO” because they were closed! The line kept getting longer and the cashier was asked for ballons by the customer being charged, she had to stop charging to get those for him while the other employee was no where to be found. The cashier was getting nervous because she kept seeing the line getting longer and tried to charge faster! This is RIDICULOUS, The employee that wasnt helping her and said the other registers were closed, her name is DENISSE! Its Stupid how this person sees the line and doesnt even help with it! And just leaves to hide

Employee was quick to say that they were closed. I asked her what time do you close and she said at 9pm. I arrived at 9:40. A manager came out to say that closing time was at 10pm and that the employee that told me that is a new employee. As a new employee I’m sure they know the hours. I just wanted to go in quickly and get out fast but I felt kind of bad when that young lady automatically pushed me away. I’ve worked retail and we would let customers come in even five minutes before closing hours. Guess she just wanted to finish and leave.

I came by Wednesday 3/27/19 around 7pm.Long line as usual and they only have one cashier available. this location always does this only one person charging even if the line goes down a whole alseSo I’m waiting to pay and their is about 5 customers in front of me til it’s my turn to pay. Cashier is charging ,but chatting a lot with the next customer in line not even the one she is charging during that moment.So the customer that she’s been chatting with I’m assuming she knows her she has a basket full of items as does everyone else ready to pay. Only difference was that the cashier only rung up 3 items to this customer. When I clearly saw and heard her ring up 3 items she acted as if she was ringing items when she wasn’t. This happened at 7:14pm so she pays her $3 and walks out with 2 bags full of items. The other 3 customers after her pay and so it’s my turn.The cashier is nervous as she begins to charge me.I’m assuming because she knew that I had seen what she did.I paid for my items and left. I called the store around 7:36pm to speak with the manager to let her know what happened.She said she would speak with the employee. I didn’t even say a name to her I just told her about what I had just seen with my own eyes. She already knew which employee I was referring to.Hopefully the employee doesn’t do it again. This is how business end up closing and losing money because of certain employees that don’t care.

Walked in and out of the store due to the fact that the manager aka the skinny blonde lady to some, was loudly complaining of customers. This is the 4th time I have witnessed her lacking professionalism, by far the rudest. She was whining in front of me to her employee about some mess that was made. Yes I understand some people lack common courtesy but where is her professionalism, raising her voice which made us just turn around and leave. On another occasion she was literally arguing with a customer for simply stating a fact about her store always lacking enough employees to work the constant long lines. No shame she was literally arguing in front all those present and everyone who goes there knows there are periods where the lines extend to the aisles.

I was at dollar tree with my dad and my dad had opened a soda but I was in line and the cashier kept looking at my dad nasty then he said why are you looking at me that way? She said you have to pay for the drink before you open it and everyone opens drinks at the stores because your thirsty and your gonna buy it. And he said that’s not a rule she said that’s my rule and this is my store! And he said miss please stop being racist she said I’m not being racist and she said I’m not that kind of person but in Spanish and she also said and I also have more Mexican blood in me than you have in you then we payed and left because of her rudeness if I were her boss I would have never hired her and I give her assistance 0.5 stars and I’m never going to that dollar tree again!

I am always very happy with the store in alamo,tx but you really need to teach better customer service to the one in san juan,tx they closed the store and within 30 minutes they were out they didn't even clean the store for the next day I am very disappointed with this store
