Place has gone downhill, spent $75 for bbq cross cut ribs , steaks , finished product, looks good right!!! The meat’s rotten and the smell is even worse, had to throw it out , family was like why does it smell like that . Reply it’s bad guys sorry threw it out immediately 🤢🤮be safe folks, over priced store,rotten food ,beer coolers super moldy, place is trash 👎

Picked up $40 worth of short ribs. Asked if they could cut them down to make them thinner... They cut them sideways, like I could have done with my pocket knife. Didn't see it until I got home. We all had a good laugh. Cooked the ribs the same way I always do. They had a terrible taste, almost like soap or something. I called multiple times to notify them and was only able to reach a worker in the meat market. Less than helpful.

Don't waste your time.or money, repeat business isn't appreciated & when they mess up they will not correct it. I ordered fish from them twice & each time given completely different prices, way over charged without even knowing last time. Go to HEB, prices , quality & appreciation 150% better. I spent $7000 in past year & traveled 60 miles each time I came, WONT EVER DO THAT AGAIN.

Found this gem by chance looking for a gas station, only to find it's a fully stocked meat market! They've got everything you need and more in their grocery section: cold beer, salsa's, also rubs, chips, etc. Looking around they have house-made jerky, and sausages and more. Fresh cuts of your favorite meats and a YUGE selection of hard to find cuts vacuum sealed and frozen. It's a bit out of the way for me, but if you're in the area stop by and take a look at their selection. I'm definitely returning, but next time with a cooler! 🔥👍

I used to buy Jerky and sausage from here for years Over time they changed the recipe and I hate it. Bought $25 worth of jerky that was worse than jack links, it was moist, chewy, flavorless. not great at all. When y'all first took over after Sayers Mercantile, the jerky was still great. I guess you decided to change that.

This is a cool little gas and grocery store with reasonable prices. It makes for a great stop for anyone having to make the drive back from Green Acres Golf and Games to Northern San Antonio.

Once I get outside of san antonio and about to head out on 87, I always stop by this meat market & gas station 2 chain of a business to get my goodies/pit stop before heading out to see my family. Love the smell of fresh meat and seasonings. It bring back childhood memories of a meat market in halletsville tx that's still up and running to this day. Cashiers are very nice and they do have public restrooms.

Came here about a month ago to buy meat in bulk for our deep freezer.... I have got to tell ya, it is amazing quality!!! The bacon is to die for, steaks are very good quality and the ground beef is so good that I hardly even season it!!! I previously bought meat on my military installation because prices were good... but pruskis has them beat in quality AND price. I will forever be a return customer... oh and did I mention how friendly the employees are!!

I love the sausage at this place. They have my favorite breakfast blend sausage, and also have some other killer blends for grilling including potato sausage, pepper jack sausage, jalapeno cheddar sausage, and many many more. The staff is very friendly and the selection is fantastic. I personally think they are more friendly than Bolners and because of that I drive from the far North East side of San Antonio to Pruskis to do my shopping for meats (over 30 miles 1 way!).

This was our go to place for top quality steaks but not anymore. I purchased certified Angus Beef for a special Valentine's dinner for my family and in-laws. They were grilled to medium. They were chewy, had gristle running through them. I was embarrassed and dissappointed. I spent a pretty penny on the steaks too. Never going back......

This was our second trip, and it’s been lovely both times! A great selection of beautiful meats, and veggies including the pre-packaged seasoned selections, as well as other premade delights ( wrapped and stuffed chicken and beef, quail eggs, stuffed jalapeños etc ) as well as that much needed cooler in multiple sizes, for when you end up buying just a liiiittle too much! Love Pruskis, see ya in six weeks!

Awesome little butcher shop. Great cuts of beef, pork, pre-made bacon wrapped shrimp, and all kinds of great stuff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It's a little pricey but it's worth it for the quality.

Go team Pruski's! In this time of panic and no meat on the shelf the employees of Pruski's have stepped up. Walked in to find a full display case of beautiful meat. Though there was a line it moved very quickly. Thank you doesn't say our appreciation for your meat market. Thank you though for providing not only great meat but also friendly service. It took a bit to find..The staff is very friendly 1st thing I noticed...about 60% meat market the rest a gas station,Not a bad thing .I got there 20 min before closing.The guys at the meat counter very helpful. They showed me there meats .The Ribeye and Tomahawk looked good. I got 3 racks of Pork baby back ribs .$45 for 11.2lbs.Now they are meaty and tender to the touch and cooked up well.Customers are regulars and like there meats.The lady at the frount told me they cook Ham ,Turkey ,ect.but when she said Pie's and she makes em I Wana try and will..I'll be back.... Well I came back for Some Ribeyes and at $16 a pound for CAB I was hoping for a tasty steak and we did not get that.Very flavorless and not tender when cooked them medium, Just 3 bad steaks.The usda Choice steak at HEB at $10 a lb fell apart and had great flavor. I will not be back for ribeyes ever..
