We tried this place since we were in the area and the burgers here and extremely good. The tea was a 6/10 and the fries are just exactly that… fries. 7.5/10The burger is a 9.8/10. It’s absolutely dynamite. If you’re looking for a great atmosphere and off the beaten path with a really good burger this is worth a stop. Not insanely expensive and worth the $12 or so without fries. Would recommend it for sureKid-friendliness: There is a fenced-in outdoor seating area and it’s nice with different activities.

This place is so awesome! I am dogsitting up the road and it's the closest thing to the house. I went for lunch and the burger and fries were awesome. And everything was spotless. The staff chatted with me also let me try their house made sangria!! Beer on tap, fresh food, friendly staff. It's definitely worth the drive from SA if you are looking to get out of the city and go on a country drive.

I was impressed when we drove to Adkins to try a new burger place!This is a great country store and grill! We love everything! And my friend knew what poutine fries were, and yes they were yummy as well as my make your own burger 🍔 😋The service was amazing and the gentleman that took our orders was a great salesman, he was right about all our orders. Thank you so much!

This place is great! Super fresh food and very friendly staff. It was a 40 minute drive for my wife and I to drive out here and it was worth every minute. I highly recommend this place. Pictured below is poutine fries, the classic burger and the Fat Burger. Delicious.

I’m one person that never posted bad reviews to any business!!! but I ordered the chop salad $11 plus tax.. the chop salad It comes with only. lettuce that they put on their burgers. Looks like the salad’s been sitting out very long. Had a whole bunch of brown spots on it. you would think It would come with more than two little piles of salad!!! Lettuce is the cheapest thing you can buy at a grocery store!!. Last week we ate at Bobwire and we ordered a salad. It was only $8 it was a full box and it was very good!! Also come 2 different lettuce at bobwire Not lettuce from the burgers I’m going to try to post some pictures of this ridiculous $11 Chop salad

Flavor: B-Service: A-Tea: ASolo dining: AI found this place on a 'best burgers' list. While it was good, I would put it on any 'best burgers' list of mine. I got the mushroom and swiss burger (a staff member's recommendation). Nothing is homemade and the mushrooms are canned. I honestly enjoyed the bacon cheese fries more than the burger - not because they were anything unique - but just because the cheese was liquidy and the bacon pieces were crisp. The burger isn't large but the price sorta is. If I found myself anywhere nearby, I'd gladly stop in and eat again. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get here because there are better burgers around.

Paid $35 for a salad, burger and fries. We had water and what do you know they only offer bottled water for sale. Salad was not fresh Lettuce was turning brown tomatoes were mushy. Burger was greasy and comparable in size to a McDonald’s happy meal burger. We asked for a refund and the manager said we usually don’t refund money on food that has been ordered out of our kitchen.

So been going here for a few years now. Best burgers around including San Antonio. Staff is knowledgeable and super friendly. While prices are a little high I'd gladly pay it. Burgers are great with lots of flavor (have mine cooked medium rare) been a couple times where the bread seemed hard as opposed to other times but in rare occasions. Pountine fries are 10/10. Scott the owner runs a tight ship anything is wrong he'll make sure it is resolved. 5 stars all day!

This place is fantastic spot on the side of the road.I highly recommend you stop in and get a burger. Mine was cooked to perfection, the Blu cheese was melty good, bacon was crisp but thick so it had a pull to it. Yummmers!Friendly staff that didn't mind that I bellied up to the counter and did my paperwork for an hour or so while waiting in between appointments.I will be back but next time I want to get the Fat Boy burger with fries on it!Thank you for the hospitality.

I use to like this place until the service went down hill. I ordered the chicken strips and gravy which doesnt come with fries. So I ordered garlic fries on the side, which I figured would just be an extra cost. Then they bring me my order with no gravy. I asked doesn't the gravy come with the chicken strips? It says so right here on the menu, "Chicken strips and gravy." The waiter guy says, "you got garlic fries instead of sea salt fries, so we put chicken on the top of the garlic fries. So you didn't order chicken strips and gravy." I said, "I ordered chicken strips and gravy." He wouldn't give me the gravy that is suppose to come with it. He wanted to charge me extra for it. It doesn't make any sense!🤣Their gravy is amazing, but he wouldnt just give me the gravy that comes with the strips. Bad custermer service! Never going back.

Please do and try this spot at least once! I love their burgers, quality at that. They do everything in house, you are not eating frozen market items! So, be prepared to pay the price for quality food. I’d so much rather spend a little over your fast food restaurants for food going in my body that again, is quality over quantity perhaps. My other half has tried at least each burger off their menu. I’ve personally only tried and stuck with their mushroom Swiss burger and add grilled jalapeño to that. They are juicy burgers too! Never disappoints. We also accompany our burgers with garlic fries and omg, great as well!

Overrated , only self brewed beer is served here, burgers Okay, but nothing special. I grew up on a farm and all my neighbors had Angus beef (Red and black) corn fed. I know they talk a big talk about everything is made right there, but I can cook a better burger than this. Other places have better burgers than here. They gave us drinks and we had to wait outside until the cook could catch up with the tickets. there was 6 in our party. They let two of them order, the other 4 had to wait. The first two had their food before we even got to order. Not sure how it gets a 4.7 star rating.

Great little hidden gem. Their Burgers are so delicious. Then the Fries are to die for. Love this place. 100 % grass feed Angus Beef. Freindly staff Plus draft beer. Fresh homemade pickles.

Today was the second time I have had a burger from this establishment. The first time, my sister-in-law brought me the big sexy Burger. A culinary masterpiece. The meat was cooked to Perfection and the flavors we're definitely on point. Today, I dined at the restaurant and was impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment as well as the excellent service I received. I ordered the jalapeno popper Burger. It was another home run. The handmaid, locally-sourced, Black Angus Patty was tender, juicy and absolutely delicious. The toppings and the sauce on this burger Blended together perfectly in my mouth to create the perfect marriage of a jalapeno popper and a cheeseburger. A truly gourmet burger. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good meal. Good job guys keep up the good work

Awesome place. Went to eat after seeing it on Elder Eats and it was DELICIOUS. Staff was super super friendly and attentive. Food was cooked to order and patties were cooked exactly as requested. Their house made honey mustard was to die for and honey sourced from a bee farm up the road. Great selection of burgers... something for everyone. Place was clean and will definitely be heading back very soon.

Excellent burgers and poutine Fries!. I had the mushroom bacon swiss,(OUTSTANDING) wife had the big sexy and daughter had the regular cheeseburger.(They loved them! even the hand made pickles) All were gone in a flash, cooked perfectly, pink in the middle and JUICY! Poutine fries were amazing! Yes, it takes a little longer to get all your hand made from scratch, locally raised food. Yes it costs slightly more for all that extra detail. YES, you will be well rewarded for the wait and a couple dollars more, so know that going in!! Owner walked us through the menu and the entire process. Took time out of her super busy day to make sure all our questions were answered and we knew their process. You just don't find that anywhere anymore. Thank you for extra good food and service! We will be back soon! You want cheap, stay at Whataburger, they aren't quick anymore either! No other burger place around we've tried can match this little secret-hidden Gem!
