I really wanted to paint my front door about a month ago and I went to Home Depot to pick up samples. The gentleman, Jonathan, in the paint section gave me great advice about buying two sample cans instead of a pint or quote and this saved me about $20. This weekend, I went in with my whole family to look at paint colors for my oldest son’s room, the living room and my bedroom. Jonathan was working again and was a huge help. He color matched Sonic the Hedgehog for my son, gave advice on color compatibility and then mixed our 8 samples. He’s a gem and I will always ask for him when I need to refresh the paint in our home.

Literally The worst place to get help with projects, Once we found someone to help he had the worst attitude like he didn't even want to be there. It wasn't just us because another gentleman needed help finding outdoor lights which he ignored. On a different occasion I waited for help from an older gentleman that didn't bother listening to any questions i had, instead i was just given a bag of parts and said that will work and walked off, which it in fact did NOT work! I guess he was in a rush to step away to spit in his bottle, so if you're a PRO this is the place to be if you don't know what you're doing AVOID! The manager also wasn't much help I called complained he understood and told me he would help when we arrived, upon request he didn't show up for a good 10 minutes and then we got a part that would make do for the time being and will gladly take our business to Lowes who has been LOTS of help with ALL our questions on projects since! Not to mention not having to search every isle for an associate that can or will help is LOVELY!

I love this Home Depot. Last year, I had to remodel my bathroom. I went to Home Depot and had questions about so many things. I didn't know much about renovating a bathroom at the time and Steve was so helpful. I really appreciated his great help and any time I have question, I know to find him because he so knowledgeable!!! Thank you Home Depot and Steve for your help 😃

The managers here are terrible. I returned a damaged mini fridge that they delivered to me, they refused to pick it back up and replace it, so I had to make arrangments to do it myself. When I brought it back to the store, the manager on shift as well as employees acted like I was taking their money out of their pockets when i was told i get a discount by corporate who also called the store while i was on the line so it was a no fuss return. When I brought home the replacement, it was also damaged. I called the store to let them know it was damaged and the woman pulled the phone away from her face to repeat what I was saying to near employees and to her surprise I didn't want to replace the second damaged fridge because it was just cosmetic, but to just let them know that they most likely have others damaged as well. The employees have no idea where items are located, it's like find Waldo in this place.

So I walked by four maybe five different employees looking for something and I had a tool in my hand talking to myself saying where are the sockets. Of all the people finally Sarah from paint asked me if I needed anything and told her I was looking for sockets and she showed me where they were at. Then she asked me if I needed anything else. I just think it's pretty sad that all those employees walked by me and did not even acknowledge that I was there. At least I'll have one employee that's helpful

I purchased a new washer dryer set online from Home Depot, the next day a submitted an order for the matching pedestals w/ install because I knew I could not install these myself. The washer dryer was delivered 12/09 and went great, the pedestals were delivered yesterday 12/11 and the install was refused because the washer and dryer had been there for 48hours and the company did not want to assume liability if something happened during install. I understand this policy and make perfect sense; however, this should not be able to be purchased with install separately on their site. If the pedestals are purchased with a different order number you should not offer the install. Very poor business to leave two pedestals uninstalled that cost over 647.00 just sitting in the garage for a woman who is 5ft 2 and a 100lbs to install......I will never purchase from this company again. I have contacted corporate twice with no resolve. very disappointed.

More a contractors store, but an excellent selection of paints. Always get a woman associate to help you, the men just point in the general direction, I have found the women walk you to the item you are looking for and answer questions.

Friendly people but need more knowledge about the department they work in and the products they sell in their department. Told the person wat I needed and ended up havn to figr it out myself anyway bcuz the guy in plumbing I dealt with n worked in plumbing depth had zero idea of wat I was telling him. I bought a fitting n a hose n turned out didn't need the hose after all, so now I hav a metal water hose for a fridge I don't need. It's OK. Spare parts nevr hurt anything n it's always gud to hav a backup of sumthin.

Thanks to the signage, I found exactly what I needed in short order. One negative: Only one checkout had a human cashiers & the line was backed up to the display aisles. Apparently, I'm not the only one who dislikes the self-service checkout. I was paying with cash, but the machine would not take my money. I finally got an employee to assist me or I would still be there trying to poke the money into the slot.I literally hate these things because no two are alike, so each model has its own manner of doing transactions. Bring back human cashiers!

Great customer service today in plumbing. He actually knew what I needed!Before I realized it yep it was a hug black rat running from aisle 14 to 13. Good thing there's no food served. Make sure you hand sanitize rat pee is hazardous to your health!

Management does not care about reviews. The garden center staff have conversations or play around with each other when they’re checking customers out. Literally three young men let me stand there while they joked around until they felt like acknowledging me. Then we had to sit there while two discussed how they wanted to do their breaks. Also maybe if cashiers could move at a pace that tries to respect the long lines is helpful.

Garbage store with a couple good people. Isles aren't labeled, signs are blank, one person running one checkout in professional services while ALL the self checkouts were blocked off, etc. I've posted pictures here of all the above. Also, all isles are in the stupidest layout I've ever seen in any Home Depot from Rockwall to Sweetwater. Someone needs to come in and fix this store. The people working there are the only reason this didn't get 1 star.

We looked online and Google said they are open till 8pm on Sundays. We arrived at the garden department and noticed they seemed to be putting things away, getting ready to close. I asked and they said the garden department closes at 6.We were buying a pallet of soil in bags. The guys who work in garden department were super nice, even though we basically arrived at their closing time. They got us checked out and loaded her dirt for us quickly and efficiently, and we’re friendly about it.

Employees on the sales floor seemed inconvenienced when we asked for help to the point they didn't help, the hot water heater was delivered by a small red vehicle and left in the driveway. Not only is that an expensive item just to leave but with elderly it needed to be brought into the home. Only good thing was the cashier Jada. She was so sweet and helpful. This visit reminded me why I don't choose home depot very much.

Today was really interesting. The trip was ok. The store was full of orange vests ... like the most I've ever seen in a Home Depot, but the only two that acknowledged us were Carol from California, a true delight who was quite helpful, and the cashier who checked us out at around noon. The rest of the staff completely ignored us and everyone around them unless they were asked for help. There were no smiles or "Hellos," which made me sad. It was on par with every time we went in there, but considering how many workers there were, I was hoping there would be a higher percentage of people who wanted to acknowledge the people who shop there and are the reason they even have a job to go to. Oh well. The store was clean, ADA-friendly, and had a good selection. If you can deal with being ignored, then enjoy your trip.
