This was our first visit to the clinic as we just moved to Abilene 2.5 months ago. Rachel was so sweet when I called to make the appointment and got us in quickly. Lisa was by far the sweetest vet tech I have ever had. Dr. Hill had amazing bedside manner and such a sweet genuine disposition. Lisa and Dr. Hill both took the time to listen to my concerns, explained every potential outcome to me, and answered any questions I had without judgment. The staff was also very patient with my toddler having to come to the appointment with me. Lana and I appreciate the staff so much!

Recently needed to take my fur baby in because I thought she had a UTI, which it turns out she did. I was recommended by friends to Frontier, and they got me in that very day a few hours later, as a matter of fact, very helpful, friendly people, and they were very good with my baby. Waiting room is a little small and not much parking, but like the quick, and professional service.

We were greeted very quickly and got our preliminary information completed. Just a short wait and we’re taken into an examination room. The vet came in shortly and examined our new family member. She informed us of what all he would need and when good times would be to complete his treatment.All in all they are very compassionate about your pet and very friendly. I would recommend them to everyone.

This place is amazing. I’ve been taking my cat here since she was born for all of her shots, checkups, and procedures. I had her spayed here as well and they were wonderful. My girl was super sick, couldn’t keep anything down, and then things got worse. I called the next morning as soon as they were open and they got me in in 30 minutes and performed an emergency surgery.Their employees, doctors, and nurses are so great and do everything they can to make it the best experience. I will always take my animals here!!!

We are beyond grateful for Dr. Houser and his team. Dr. Houser goes above and beyond for his patients. We have lost 5 dogs in 3 years and he's been with us each time. He even prayed over our puppy and us when we said goodbye. He even answered the vet office doors 45 minutes before they were open and staff was there, as we are sobbing cause one of our girls was dying. He has held the hands of our aging pets and our hearts. What we love the most is his honesty, he doesn't sugar coat anything and will not let you live on false hope. Thank you Frontier Vet and Express staff, including also Dr. Hill and Dr. Howk

We love this vet! I've been using Dr. Bloodgood since 1999. He has been excellent. We had a rescue dog, which he put back together after we found him completely broken. He now takes care of my two dogs and cat. I 1000% recommend this vet.

I would highly recommend going here for all of your furry family needs. I had to put my dachshund down the other morning and it was already a very devastating situation but the staff at frontier was truly amazing they were so patient kind and the compassion they showed was genuine I thank this clinic so much for making what was already a horrible situation better as they possibly could. These people truly care.

Dr. Bloodgood was amazing. Supportive and informative. On 11-10-2023 we had to put our dog down due to cancer. Everyone that worked there made us feel comfortable and were very supportive. Thank you so much for helping our family.

I have been going to Frontier for about 10 years now. I can honestly say that without the Dr. Houser and Dr. Bloodgood my husky would not be alive. They have saved her life twice from obscure, difficult to diagnose disease. Dr, Houser helped her to walk again in after other vets in the area told me there was no hope for her. Today my husky is 9 years old. She is happy, and able to walk and even run some. I have never had a bad experience here. Sometimes they are very busy and that should be expected. You cannot plan an emergency. But they are always doing their very best for the animals. Thanks to all staff and Dr.s at the Frontier Vet Clinic for your service and care over the years. I will continue to take all my pets to them.

We like them and use them for both veterinary and grooming services. Our dog needs to be sedated to be groomed and it’s nice knowing that it’s her regular vet staff that handle this for her. I often have to pick her up on the vet side afterwards because they are observing her as she wakes up and this just gives me confidence that they are handling the whole process like professionals. We feel confident in their treatment of our dog. They sit in the middle of the pack from a pricing perspective and we feel like they are pretty fair.

My favorite thing about Frontier is that they're FAST. We get in and out for our appointments so quickly. We switched from another vet and we've been so pleased.My dog had surgery today and they were great. We've been so happy with the care our pets have received from Frontier and they're great with us humans, too.

I take my Loki and Zorn here and everyone treats them like they are their own. I've had to take them both in a few times in the past couple of months and i'm always able to make a same day appt with almost no wait time when I walk in. I love when they call Loki "handsome" , it makes my heart smile!

Have not had good experiences with this place. They never sent my dog’s paw-print card after he was euthanized, and when I called about this, they finally sent a card with a paw print that was about half the size of my dog’s paw! Also, they sent me an outstanding bill for Bravecto, claiming the receptionist only charged me for one when I picked up two. I did not pick up two, and when the manager called to rectify this situation, which was their error, she was unbelievably rude. She basically accused me of lying (and stealing if I didn’t pay the outstanding charge), but she did end up retracting the charge to my knowledge. I closed out my account there and won’t go back. Other friends have had issues with them also. Buyer beware!

If I could give this place no stars I would. We had to put my dog down and we were given paperwork in the back to sign and paid where they took our debit card up front for us so we didn’t have to go out to the waiting room. I thought that was nice since we were crying and not expecting to have to go through this as my dog suddenly became ill.Then I get a bill for $140 a month later with no explanation to what the charges were for and no phone call about this mystery charge. We were told we paid in full as I said they took our card and ran it that day. We picked up my dog’s ashes about a week or two later and checked again to make sure there were no charges left and were told there wasn’t a balance by the front desk.Then I get sent to collections for $140. Horrible service and no integrity at all! Thanks for ripping off a military family who had to suffer the loss of our beloved pet and then put up with your error of billing and miscommunication.

Wonderful treatment of my cats. Filled me in on all that was going on with them. Great written instructions given on how to take care of them after their spay. Very nice helpful people. Wouldn't take my girls anywhere else.

I was very pleased with our care at Frontier Vet Clinic. The tech was super knowledgeable and patient with our questions and concerns. The vet also took her time and did not rush us during our time. We were able to bring both dogs at the same time which was also super convenient. Our dogs took right to everyone on the staff and were greeted with lots of love and treats.I am a travel nurse so My babies see vets all over the country. This place is easily top 5 and we will be returning while we are here on contract in Abilene.
