I purchased 2 very expensive, but nice, suits many years ago. One of the selling points was that I could have them altered by Dillard's at anytime, free of charge. Today I called to make an appointment to have them altered and was told that they no longer offer ANY altering, due to health reasons. Now I have to pay for another entity to alter them. Mind you, it's not that I can't afford to have them altered, but it's the principal. I'm in the medical field, WEAR GLOVES! They're affordable and prevent any cross-contamination! I will NEVER shop at Dillard's anymore because of this.

My husband has very specific tastes and knows exactly what he wants. He has heart disease and doesn't get out much, but he wants a sweater to wear around the house when he gets chilled. It's the end of the season, and I had narrow parameters to choose from. I told the man there what I was looking for, and he combed through the racks to help me. I took a picture, sent it to my husband, and he approved it. He's very happy with his sweater, which is great! I really want to give 5 stars, but the only reason I didn't was that the sales rep didn't smile. Not once! And I tried to win one. He was super efficient but didn't seem very happy. Maybe he had something on his mind. Anyway, thank you so much for helping me make my husband happy.

Windy at the men’s fragrances counter was AMAZING. She was so helpful and informative! She was beyond nice to us! You deserve the most girl, thank you again. I love my new YSL Myslf fragrance.

Rating is based on floor associates. Most times I visit this store, not one associate says hello or offers to help me find anything. I don't usually need help, but it's still courteous to greet your customer. Last week I was at the sunglasses case for 15 mins. A female associate was right there inches away, and she never as much as acknowledged me. I was in purses, too, and I only got a hello when I was ready to check out. The only associate that said hello and smiled and offered to help me was a younger woman in lingerie. If your sales associates are only there to ring up sales then they are cashiers so you might as well hire stockers and have self-checkout.As far as merchandise goes, I am happy with the selections. I love buying Coach bags here, and I have found them at better prices than online.

Dillard keeps a 🔥 sale on Polo. I'm there every week until it ends... Go n holla at the homie Kem at Dillard man's dept.... This outfit cost me under a $120, never settled for less when you can get the best for less. An advocate for Polo😁

It is a chain store and just like all the old construction, Dillard's is lacking in aesthetic upkeep. Manikins are wrote on and on the kind of grungier side. But nice staff. Wish more of the businesses throughout Abilene could do some upkeep of their facilities.

Dillard's has everything. Style. Employees with grace & warm smiles. Two completely different store branches in the mall... One for men and one for women. Decent prices. High quality. Haut couture and more.

Candace from perfumes is the nicest person I’ve ever met. She knows what she is talking about and was able to help me find not one, but two of my favorite scents! If you ever go to Dillards and need help finding a scent definitely ask for Candace!

We miss Mr Cardenas in men's dept. I mean alot of folks love this man. He is helpful, kind, a breath of fresh air. We go by his dept just to say hi ! Always friendly, courteous, real helpful, knowledgeable. Some, not all, other depts do not even welcome you. He did! Now a mortuary!

The store was well stocked, clothing was well displayed with racks a comfortable distance apart and clothes neatly hangered. Sale racks were clearly marked. Dressing rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Has great clothes a little pricey but it is a higher end clothing place. The place was clean the stuff is well put up nothing was out of place. I recommend going when they have sales sometimes you can find a great deal on name brands. Some clearance but it's still a little pricey.

We had a blast shopping. They allowed me to move a chair around the women's area for my 90 year old mom to sit and enjoy looking, resting, and trying! The prices were fabulous!!!

Store needs a better layout. Some sections were tight and hard to get around while others were so spread out. I'm not a fan of the short return policy on clearance, made Christmas shopping hard. Staff was nice and helpful while shopping but when checking out a couple of girls were having a conversation before getting to me. A conversation that I felt could have waited.

If u need shoes.... Ask for Kyle!!I needed heels to wear to my son's wedding, a week away. A very nice man asked if I needed help & went to pull a shoe I asked for. My sister needed me to come to the fitting rooms to see an outfit & so I asked the other young lady associate to tell the gentleman I would be back in a few. Came back & he had pulled 4 shoes in what we had discussed. The shoe I asked for did not work but 1 pair he had pulled on his own was GORGEOUS & fit like a DEAAM! Now I own/run a child care center so heels r the last thing that I normally buy. But Kyle was AWESOME & SO HELPFUL. The 2 younger associates in the shoes dept didn't even ask if I needed help while I walked around but thankfully Kyle did!!Can't thank him ENOUGH worth every penny!

Overpriced Chinese knock offs. Why would a size 10, 12, & 14 all fit the same? Many dresses had unfinished sewing, loose threads etc. All upwards of $100.I found a much nicer less expensive dress at JC Penny's.

As a tall guy, with a tall kid, I can say that their men's department is looking out for us when we need nicer clothes. Always good service and good advice, especially from the tall guy working there.

I'm usually not a review writer but I was completely blown away by customer service on the part of the shoe department. I came in with a specific idea of shoe I wanted and before I knew it, I had been given a tour of the shoe department with stops at any shoe the staff felt fit my description. When I decided to try some on, they continued to look around and bring me additional shoes. The whole staff was incredibly friendly and helpful even when I needed several shoe sizes switched. I found the perfect pair of shoes all thanks to a staff that went above and beyond!

Dillard's has a great selection of clothing for all sizes. Their employees are helpful and knowledgeable. You can't beat their sales, especially the January 1 sale. It's great to have high quality goods in a smaller city! They are my go to for clothing, handbags, lingerie, and more!

This Dillard's had a pretty good selection of clothes and their sale was decent as well. The customer service was either lacking or the store was understaffed. No one asked if I needed help. So, I was left to find what u needed. Once I was ready to check out I had to go and find a customer service rep to ring me up. They might as well have had self check out stations.

Awful service. In the shoe department I was greeted and returned the greeting, CLEARLY not interested in continuing the interaction. The man then followed me (a young women) across the department as though I were a shoplifter and it made me feel uncomfortable, I found it very creepy. After this, he offered help to my mother whom I had sought out, and asked if i wanted birkenstockers for no reason. I left, and when I returned my mother said the man and other staff members treated her in the same, stalking, acussational manner.Utterly abhorant. Would NOT shop here again. All of this while we were mourning my grandmother. Terrible.

Whenever I am needing shoes, I always go to Dillard's. So very recently I was helped by a young man at the Abilene Dillard's men's shoes. His name was Jordan. I was very impressed by how much he helped me out and by just how much he knew about his product. Knowledgeable and helpful to the core.

Prices are a little high if not on sale. If they are on sale they have great prices. Tons of kitchen stuff, bedding, bath, and home goods in general. Their men's clothing is likely the most extensive in Abilene. They have lots of fid brands to choose from.

My complaint is about Tony from the men's department. Two days ago I purchased a Jacket and a pair of Perry Ellis slacks for my son at regular price. Today (Tuesday) we went back to the store to look for a tie, and he found out the items we bought only 2 days were marked down 30% off. Freddy offered to ask Tony about giving us a price adjustment... Well, he refused to give us a price adjustment! He approached us with a very negative attitude, never showed signs to stop going arguing, and even accused us of trying to make money on Dillard's expenses. His poor customer satisfaction skills as well as his lack of understanding retail policies is something that I was definitely not expecting to experience from a Dillard's employee. Poor leaders can have a negative impact on employees and might even damage the company’s bottom line.In the other hand employees like Freddy and Mr Carl were extremely helpful! It is very unfortunate to find out how good employees sometimes need to apologize on behalf of their supervisor.Tony definitely should not be managing! He is rude, incompetent, bad example to others and most importantly, not a good representation of what Dillard's has to offer to their customers.

I was in the junior's department shopping for Jean's for my 13 year old daughter. We were never greeted nor helped. I seen two different staff employees working. They only walked by us and glanced our way. Of course they talked amongst themselves. Poor customer service.

I was shopping for a dress for an event and had tried on several to no avail. I was about to give up and Courtney (?) --drop dead gorgeous--asked me if I needed help. I was very sure she would not be able to help me because she was so young and beautiful. She saw my frustration. She very quietly said the one I was looking at would be cute and after finding out what type occasion I was shopping for sent me to the dressing room and gathered a few more dresses almost all of which I could have used! She was awesome. I never would have picked any of the dresses she brought me on my own. I ened up buying 2 that I'm sure I will wear happily and often! So thank you Courtney for your great customer service. When I come back, I'm looking for you!!
