The aisles are crowded with stocking carts and you can't get down the aisles. Prices posted are not always what rings up. They put up a sign saying you can only use cash at the registers unless buying beer or tobacco so people will be forced to use the self-check. The building is ridiculously hot and they are always out of stock. This store must be TRYING to go out of business! Several former employees have gone across the street to Family Dollar to work and say it was the best decision they made. Get your act together, Dollar General!

Stopped in yesterday for a few holiday items and wow they have really cleaned the store up!!! It was well stocked, clean and organized. A nice change. The clerk was prompt and courteous. The prices are reasonable. Stop by if you haven't been in there for a while.

I love this store, it's really not their fault that they are under staffed. Their work hours are limited by Dollar General...you can just do so much with what you got. With that in mind, they do an awesome job. Don't complain unless you've been there and know what's actually going on. Go Abernathy Dollar General!!

Super servers. Very friendly. But the food is not worth the money. Cook got order wrong and tried to fix it with cold canned food. Server did her best to make me happy. I wish I could have these servers at Denny's but keep Denny's food.

Could be a really nice dg but the aisles are so junked up you can't get down them. Cashier was great but most of my digital coupons didn't work including the $5 off on a $25 purchase. My purchase was $57!

The employee's are very nice and always willing to help. However, the store is extremely unorganized. Boxes and new products still waiting to be put up from the metal rotators. Hopefully they can get organized soon.

Store was in shambles with 1 employee working. Shipping carts all throughout the store blocking aisles. This nearly every time I go in this store. I will shop somewhere else.

Crowded with merch. Good buys but not very organized. And that's okay. Enjoy searching for a bargain. Staff was friendly. Quick in, quick out.

Always a mess. DG needs to hire more people, impossible job to keep up with minimal staff. Staff is great though

Abernathy has the worst store!! Very difficult to get in the door much less maneuver through the store!! Stock carts EVERYWHERE!! I'll drive 7 miles to New Deal before I go to.this store!!
