This place helped us out. Both Jose's that worked their were very friendly and helped us out. The only problem I had was they told me the car would be ready the following day. Being that I was from out of town and having an unexpected breakdown there was no other choice. Jose was nice enough to take us to a nearby hotel. He informed us that the truck will be ready the following day. The following day turned into 2 day's later. We eventually talked to the owner of the place Emilio and just kindly asked him if he could just be a little more informative and let us know what was going on and how long it would take. He agreed that he'd keep us updated on status of the vehicle.Other than the lack of communication everything else went pretty smooth.

On June 15, 2020 Emilio was literally our guardian angel while on an emergency road trip home to be with my mom right after my dad died. We had a tire blowout (sidewall punctured rendering tire useless) 30 miles north of Waco, TX and with the pandemic, having 3 pets in the car, and the late time of day, roadside assistance was unable to help. After 3 hours of calling around, we found Emilio who had the exact tire we needed and brought it to us in addition to completing the replacement. On top of his excellent service, he charged a very fair rate (we tipped him 30% as he saved us from sleeping on the road side until the morning...we were literally in the middle of nowhere with no options). I learned a lot from this experience. Always read the fine print of what roadside assistance will/can/cannot provide during a pandemic, go with regular vs run flat tires, carry a full sized spare even though many cars no longer come outfitted with one, and, most importantly, there are still good people out there. I wish Emilio continued success in running an honest and top notch business.

Impeccable service. My tire and spare both blew out in the late evening and nobody was open. I google mapped "tire", saw Emilio's nearby, gave a call, and a few minutes later I was back on the road.

Emilio was a life saver for us! We're van lifers so our van is our home. Our car broke down just a mile away from his shop and he got us in that day, worked all day, let us sleep in the van at night and worked another full day. They even gave us a ride to a hotel since some bad weather just moved through. It did take 2 1/2 days to fully figure out why our van crapped out but the price for the work is much better than you'll find at most corporate locations. I definitely recommend asking a lot of questions and putting in work to communicate as Emilio is more on the quiet side. Overall he got the job done at a fair price and was very hospitable to us. Emilio and his crew were so awesome! To start off we were stranded about 1,000 miles away from home and this was already our second trip toTexas, to come get the truck because the transmission went out and we trusted another shop, not Emilio’s, to replace the transmission in San Antonio. Well we got about 4 hours outside of San Antonio and long story short the truck started making noises and shutting off on us and we realized it had no transmission fluid. So after a few hours of frustration, we finally found Emilio’s Tire and Auto Shop. They got us in and helped us out as soon as they could. Emilio’s son even showed us exactly what was wrong with the truck and what needed to be done to be driveable again. They even drove us to our hotel that evening when they closed and then came and picked us up in the truck when it was done the next day! They were very nice, told us what was going on and what all was needed and did it, professional, friendly, kind and just all around awesome!! We definitely recommend Emilio’s to anybody in and around Abbott, Texas!!!

Owner was so amazing in helping us get back on the road. Our wheel bearing broke as we were driving through, from out of town, and he stayed after business hours to make sure we were taken care of. Extremely nice and professional. Would highly recommend.

I cannot thank him enough for his kindness and expertise. While we were driving through Dallas to San Antonio, we had some minor issue, not a serious mechanical failure but an annoying situation (a side window failed once it was rolled down).I had to drive the window halfway rolled down till Waco (the next town where a Ford dealer is located). It was going to be a loud and noisy drive, but this man (Emilio?) was so nice that he stopped his current work and spent 30 minutes or so for us. Of course, he was able to fix the problem with a minimal charge. ($20). I would have paid $250 for the problem at a Ford dealer.Besides saving the money, Emilio saved me from the pain of driving with loud wind noise for the next 30 minutes.I really feel that this mechanic is a sincere, nice, and good man. If you happen to drive by the area and want to check your vehicle for any reason, I strongly recommend that you stop by here. He will be your mechanic!

Not everyday do you get the actual owner to be the one helping you out but that is what you will get when you come to Emilio's tire shop. Gave him a call for a blow out on our trailer... he answered right away, had us come right over and helped us out as soon as we got there. Even had an issue with one of the bolts but worked through it. Thank you very much Emilio for your help and outstanding customer service! A+++

I have never actually purchased a tire from you before, but one of your employees literally saved my life this weekend. My daughter and I were stranded off of I-35 on the side of the road with car troubles. Your employee helped me fix my vehicle without hesitation. He must have known how desperate I was stranded alone on the side of the road alone with my teenager. He did it out of the kindness of his heart and generosity of his soul and did not ask for any payment. The radiator in our chevy traverse broke the night before, 5 hrs from home. Called Emilios next morning and they had our Traverse running in a few hrs after picking up a replacement radiator. I'm a trucker, had a flat tire. They changed it out for me for 35 dlrs. Their pricing is excellent. Their service is 5 stars. If you drive a semi you know that everybody from San Antonio on up wants to charge you over 60 dlrs for anything having to do with a tire.This is where I will be going to from now on every time I'm around that area.

Honest and knowledgable mechanics. I have had several of my vehicles repaired at Emilio's and they always do great work for a reasonable price. Emilio will not try to upsell you. He tells you exactly what is wrong and what it will take to fix it. After the repair is done he shows you the part that failed and explains why and how it failed.
