This small restaurant is a must visit if you're ever in Whitwell. It's a drive-up type restaurant in which you walk up to the Window, place your order, then come back when they tell you your order is ready. The food is great and the Creamsicle milkshake is awesome.... especially that marshmallow tasting whipped cream on top! Definitely good food!Parking: There are no spaces. You just pull up to the restaurant and go to the window to order your food.Kid-friendliness: They do have a kids menu! As stated, this is not a dine in restaurant however they do have picnic tables outside if you want to use them.

As a commercial driver I have the pleasure to eat at many establishments nation wide along my journeys i stumbled onto this little hidden roadside gem. It has amazing food and services the staff and owners are very friendly and outgoing people. They are just an absolute delight to visit with while your food is being taken care of. They truly understand the plight of commercial drivers being able to find that old school roadside meal, that takes some back to the golden years of the industry and they offer a great experience for them. There is plenty of parking and room on the shoulder to accommodate most all trucks that want to stop for a meal. Swing in and grab a bite to eat and take yourselves back to the good old days when truckers were the knights of the road and masters of the freight.

Since new ownership the Dairy Bar has been our favorite place to go. It's CLEAN, the food is amazing, and the owners are so kind hearted. They are always giving out free icecream to each kid who shows up.

The food here is always fantastic, it's affordably priced, and I've always received friendly service too. This is just a really cool local spot to get anything from a milkshake or ice cream cone to one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever tasted. My whole family loves the Dairy Bar, and we can't wait to go back. Attached are updated pics of their menu boards as of 9/11/20.

My 3 milkshakes were spat in and I was told by a boyfriend of one of the “waitresses”, I called to complain and the manager tried making it sound like I was making it up, disgusting that I can’t buy a milkshake for my girlfriend and her mother without it being spat in and then TOLD that I was making some kind of story up, with that being said if you want poor service and your food spat in, ask for a lady named lily and if you have any problems with their service just know it WILL NOT be resolved especially if it is SERIOUS

Burgers were cooked right. Cheese sticks were nice and hot, not the small ones either. Shakes were cold and smooth, not overmixed. Their spicy fries were the best part though. Definitely a place to return too.

It's a small town walk up dairy bar that's been open for as long as I can remember. Owned by various owners throughout the years, but they've always kept the small town values. There's nothing like walking up and receiving your food in the old white paperbag with the top rolled up. As soon as you open the bag you inhale and instantly your mind is filled with precious memories of when your grandmother brought you home a delicious old fashioned hamburger, fries, ketchup and a coke in the glass bottle.

They will not answer the phone half the time. The last two chicken strip plates I got were burned and they have been using frozen hamburger patties. This place once was a favorite of mine even when I lived in Chattanooga I'd drive for dinner here but it's gone so far down lately. The young girls don't seem to care about the product they serve at all.

Got 4 small burgers girl left them n front while she stayed on phone 3 people working took 45 mins to get and finally I had to go up to window befor I could ask eta on them she just pitched them to me basically I don’t recommend this place the other two people just sniggered

Not the same as it once was. Burgers are different(Meat)and the Broccoli Bites are NOT the same. Lunch Plates are delicious tho!! But for the price the servings should be a tad bigger
