Ran across this little place in my travels and gave it a whirl. It was a seat yourself. It was after the lunch rush so no problem on getting a spot. My drink order was taken immediately and was down the daily lunch menu and given a regular menu. The tea was decent, could have had a more robust tea flavor and it was sweet, but not overly sweet. I ordered chicken and dressing, corn, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy and a roll. The roll was good and hot, melted butter easily, mashed potatoes and gravy had a really good taste, the corn was good, the green beans were a bit on the bland side though, needing some ham hock or fried meat grease, this would have surely made them better. The dressing was decent, but not a lot of meat as far as the chicken went, however all of this was EXTREMELY reasonable for this day and age, drink with a meat and three, $8.81 out the door. Stop in and give'em a whirl.Parking: Plenty of parking

My daughter raved the cheese sticks were the best she ever had and would stop by just for them alot. The fried catfish best anywhere around. We will be dining there again tonight.Kid-friendliness: My grandson is autistic and they know exactly what he wants as soon as we walk in the door

This place was great! Nice inviting atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The star of course was the food.The Chef's ultimate stuffed burger!? What!? This huge burger was stuffed with jalapenos, cheese, onions, and more. Topped with more mozzarella cheese and A1 sauce, along with the normal fix'ns. There was no way to finish it. However this thing was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and oozed cheese and juices. The chili cheese fries were the ideal companion to this monument to burger perfection.

Very quaint restaurant. Only had one Waitress, but she was on point with every table. Food came out quickly. It was very good. Great prices! Maybe we can stop here again next time we're passing through the area

Food is good. Charge my grandmother for an extra plate when she clearly ordered three plates and drove 15 minutes to get to the place. Good food but they need more people working so that lady is not overwhelmed with taking all the orders.simple misunderstanding with the order but my granny is in her 70s and don't have money to throw away.

Nice small place. With Nick Nacks all over the walls. Really good prices for the quantity of food ordered. I recommend the Patty melt. It can get a tad smokey inside so you come out of there smelling like a deep fryer.

Great place for lunch or dinner ( never been there before 12pm lol). The space is limited but busy or not, the server is always super nice and handles her job well. The food is great in my opinion, and it usually comes out in a timely mannor. The grilled chicken salad and the loaded baked potato are my top favorites from the place. I think it's got a little bit of somn somn for everyone though.

We just moved to the area a short time ago. Our neighbor introduced us to this awesome little secret! Now we try to get by at least once a week. There’s nothing like a locally owned and operated restaurant, with awesome food and great service. We try something new every time we go. If you’re looking for chain food restaurant food, don’t waste their time. Because this is great home cooking, that you don’t have to stand on your feet for hours preparing. I doubt we will ever be able to try everything they have to offer. Bottom line, we love 💕 this place and our server is the best!

They don’t like honest reviews here. Who stops serving sides after 5 when it’s dinner time? Weird. The fish was ok but regular sides would have been better not just plain baked potatoe, cole slaw and 2 smallest hush puppies I ever seen. I had to fight a fly over my food and I guess they said I left a nasty review over me telling the truth even though I still gave 4 stars. Don’t get mad at the reviews, just do better! Wasn’t just me, my bf was looking at his food the same way. Makes no sense to stop serving decent sides after 5 but yet price still same. Good catfish doesn’t make up for the rest of the meal. SMH

We're here from our is state visiting my husband's uncle. He said we had to come here for lunch. When we first pulled up I was delighted to see the small, quaint little place. Inside it's magnificent with all the decorations that opened adorned the walls and shelves. Our waitress was not only as nice as they come, but silly and fun like us. We ordered and my husband and I were in awe of how good it was. The coleslaw is how I make mine and along with it the country friend steak, home-made mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese... And let's not forget or appetizer of corn nuggets yum. My husband had the meatloaf which was also divine. We had a wonderful meal, outstanding service and the price was amazing! We will definitely return upon our next visit! Thanks for a wonderful memory!

Remember how excited you would be when the school cafeteria was serving Cheeseburgers or Mac and cheese?Do you like a well prepared frozen chicken patty? Fries from a bag?Extra helpings of mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard on your well done burger?This Mac and Cheese isn’t a brand name, it’s a bag name, that the staff shared they heat gallons a day to serve the customers.The Chef is really the Magician, as there is a clear and steady stream of customers flowing in the restaurant, dining on food that would otherwise be considered backyard pot luck.Admittedly I did not try the regular favorite catfish or lasagna.With regards to service, the food was delivered as if Aergia herself had left Olympus to serve her following.I’m not sure when I’ll have a chance to experience a meal like this again, but like the memory of the school cafeteria- this one is burnt in me for a while.

This place is always amazing no disappointments at all. The food is always perfect! If you have not ate here you have too!!! The price is always reasonable & you will get your belly full for sure. The sweet tea is amazingly delicious as well. The staff is just absolutely wonderful!!! Definitely sweethearts there.😊 you will not be disappointed
