I miss the old owners. The food was substantially better and the prices were more reasonable.I really like the new owner and staff, but I don't go here anymore because the food is sub par and expensive. Took me a long time to write this review because I didn't want to be negative..Worst nachos I have ever had were here. I kept telling myself I wouldn't go back, but then I would and be very disappointed. They have a good bar, but I don't drink.Will not be going back and that saddens me.

Who would think a restaurant in Whitwell Tennessee would have some of the best seafood around. My wife had 12 colossal shrimp, lightly coated that were fantastic. I had a combo plate of catfish, fried clams, and 6 colossal shrimp. Extremely reasonably priced, fantastic tasting, and the service was excellent. Highly recommend giving it a try.

I haven't been here since the name change and remodel. The fish and shrimp tacos are pretty good as well the cod sandwich. The service was good this time. The last few times here it was abysmal it's good to see they are fixing some problems. Also the forcing you to use the lunch menu at 1pm which has very little variety of options really sucks.Vegetarian options: Good luck on getting vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Most of the food is fried so dieting using low carbs makes it extremely difficult to order here.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Yes

The good - We arrived right atunch time rush. Our waitress was nice a day let us know it would be a bit before our food got to us. We were okay with waiting. Appetizer came out fresh and hot while we waited.The bad - ordered Mahi Mahi. Plate arrived and fish was cold with no sauce. Little red potatoes came out pretty much the size of our fist. More like a baked potato. We like baked potato just asked for butter and sour cream. They were out of sour cream. Asked about sauce, they ran out of it but because the fish was already cooked the decided to serve it dry. Fish was burned on the bottom half. Lettuce used as garnish was wilt and brown. Probably the worst Mahi Mahi he's ever ate.Cat fish dinner was okay, Cole slaw was warm and just not very good. Fries were cold.Waitress did offer us a $10 gift card literally after we had walked out but chances of us eating there again are zero.

Outstanding food when we went. The waitress made a point to tell use the buffet was closed even though there was a lot of food on it. I appreciated this since other places try and pass old food off a lot. Battered items appear to be hand battered. Would recommend.

Came in for breakfast.First time in town.First impressions are good.Over all 4 Stars! Great place!I enjoyed it and plan to enjoy it again...Not really in COVID19 compliance at this location. If this is a problem due to underlying health conditions, might not be a good place to come to.Otherwise highly recommended.The TLDR breakdown:Place: Clean place. Small little place with a drive through option. Beer, breakfast, lunch, dinner...⭐⭐⭐⭐Service: Great service with a smile. The locals are very reserved and not keen to new comers, but the waitress was quick at making everyone feel welcomed! Very engaged and very attentive. Fast and honest waittess, knowing exactly what is going on in the kitchen and out on the floor. Really brings the place together. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Food: good serving sizes. Good tasting food, simple meal made right. Real potatoes, good home made sausages, and a good home cooked meal feel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Come over, enjoy, and don't forget to ring the bell on tour way out!

We finally stopped by for a late lunch today, and what an AMAZING FIND!! We watched parasailers glide down along the mountain ridge while enjoying our ice tea and beer. Had great service, freindly staff, great menue! The food was absolutely delicious! We are looking foward to becoming regulars! And going to bring all our family as well🤩😊😁

This was my second visit. My first I waited over an hour for my food. The food was good except it was lukewarm at best. I decided to give it another try, because I've heard mixed reviews. This time I got 3 fish plates & the fish on all 3 plates was not done

Awesome. The food was excellent. The owner took the time to greet me and my family and talk with us. He even made my steak himself on the grill outside. Gator bites were awesome. I'm from Louisiana and they were better than any I had ever had. Grilled or fried, it didn't matter. The atmosphere was awesome as well. And now that he's added on to the bar area, there is plenty of room to sit and chill and have a great time

The service was wonderful. Our waitress was very nice.I did have a couple issues. The first was the menu. All the prices were blacked out. You could not tell what any of the prices were without asking. I understand food prices change but that isn't the way to go about it. Second, the cheese sticks were ok but if I am paying $10.50 for 8 cheese sticks the cheese needs to be melted and the cheese stick hot. It was neither. Third, the shrimp had a fantastic flavor and cooked well but they laid it on a piece of lettuce that held all the grease in a puddle which made the batter mushy on the bottom pieces. I don't mind paying their prices for quality but the food quality was missing.

The service was not so good but the food was definitely pretty darn good except for the bake potatoe we got to take home to my wife was god awful with brown places all through it. We were told they were out of bake potatoes so we ordered the red potatoes for my wife and when they made the to go order it had a bake potatoe instead of the red potatoes.. we probably should have gotten the red potatoes if they had them. 😆

Comfortable & clean even though the remodeling is not complete. Good selection of bottled beers but only one draft so far (Mich Ultra). Our server (Emily) was polite, friendly & attentive. Food was really tasty and portions were good except I was a little disappointed with the boneless chicken wings appetizers... more like boneless chicken bites than wings, but still they were delicious. We will definitely be going back.
