No stars! This place is a dump! Pictures online are deceiving. Was going to stay two nights but checked out after the first night due to ALL that was wrong with this hotel, but still got charged two night! Wrote out TWO pages of everything that was wrong with the rooms including, filth, poor security lighting, no one at the desk to get anything at night, the list goes on! Absolutely disgusting!

I haven't stayed there yet. But all of the people that I talked to. Said that it's suppose to be a Wyndham Rewards motel. But they said the owner and manager wouldn't honor there Wyndham Rewards cards at all. And that filed a complaint against them with the corporate headquarters. And corporate needs to go there themselves without the manager knowing. And check his service out along with checking him out. And if they find that he really doesn't do his job. Then they need to get a new manager in there right away. And corporate needs to get more employees there. Especially if that motel is a Wyndham Rewards motel. Because Wyndham Rewards motels should be in my run with excellent service. (Manager and the personnel who take of cleaning the rooms. And supplying the rooms with sheets, pillows, blankets and any thing else. I might have stayed there. But motels in Bolivar were closer to my destination.

The super 8 in whiteville, we check In on Friday August 11and check out on the 13 , the room was terrible, old very old bed sheets, toilet seat was broken, toilet ran all night, then over on Saturday morning, took two hour to find someone to fix the problem and another hour to get house keep. The manager never offered a apology or to change our room . Was at a point a decent place to stay. All the rooms need a complete make over. Might have a new place to stay when I go home next time .Rooms: They need a complete make over

We were staying here while working in the area . We were 7 hrs from home. The staff was very courteous and eager to offer you whatever you needed without any complaint. The rooms were actually very clean for most super 8 we have stayed in. Would stay here again for sure if in the area.Rooms: Clean and beds were comfortable

Very clean, inexpensive, great motel. Quiet with great beds.Next door is a gas station with a market that has fried chicken, biscuits and gravy, etc.Cute town with friendly people.

We reserved this hotel for 2 nights, and once we got here, situations changed and we thought we might have to stay an extra night. The staff were very kind and held the room available until after we called and said we wouldn't be needing it after all. It isn't a very big hotel, but it's very clean, and quite for the most part ( not the hotels fault, just inconsiderate guests). I would definitely stay here again!!!

I made a reservation for a room mid-afternoon and I'm glad I did. My arrival was delayed by construction traffic and my own misjudgement of travel time together there. There's not much in Whiteville and I don't think there are any other motels. When I arrived my room was reserved...I'm glad I reserved it. The proprietor was waiting for me to arrive to fill the only unoccupied room he had...a good problem for him.It was very basic. I actually reserved an accessible room. The edge of the bottom of the shower would benefit from a good scrub. However, water warmed up quickly in the sink and shower.The bed spread had some burned places in it...didn't affect the function...just the way it looked.The bed was ok...I've slept on worse.The desk didn't have a chair...maybe because it was an accessible room.The AC unit was not on whrni arrived...disappointing since even at near 10:00 p.m. it was still over 80 degrees. When I fired it up, it worked, but rattled and groaned all night.The smoke detector (in a smoking room??) was dangling a foot below the ceiling attached by a couple of wires.I felt like I got what I paid for...budget accommodations. I'd stay here again under similar circumstances.

Horrible place to stay with unclean rooms and a property that needs a lot of repair. I could say more, but that sums up my experience.Safety: I did not feel safe here with people walking around and the noise level most of the night. Better lighting would be a big help.

First the good, the owners are really nice and the beds are ok for comfort. Now the bad, the floors are gross as is to be expected shoes or slippers at all times are a must. We had several roaches on the counter and one on our bags, then we were greeted by a huge (at least half dollar size) spider in our room. We will not be staying there again if we come back to Bolivar to visit family. Cant say anything on breakfast as due to Covid they didn't have any options for breakfast.

We stayed in this motel for nearly a month while we waited for closing on our house. The staff was helpful and courteous. The rooms were clean, the beds (mine anyway!) was very comfortable. I slept better than in many other motels. It's quiet and convenient to a small general store, gas station and restaurant. While we were there, the management was in the process of painting and remodeling rooms...nice exterior, well maintained. I can honestly recommend this motel.

Overpriced and dirty. Reserved a two bed room in advance. When I arrived they gave me a key and room number. I went to the room, and upon entering saw the bed was not made. The sheets were crumpled up as if someone had been sleeping in it. It seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned after the last person. That was enough for me. Went back to the front desk, they argued with me about the room, but finally gave me a different room. However this room only had one bed. My brother and I made due with that. Upon checkout the next morning, they charged me for both rooms. I explained what happened the night before, but they told me that there was nothing wrong with the room, so I would have to pay for both.Ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company, who took care of it.

Super 8 in Whiteville is a good choice if you need to stay in this part of the country. Basic, cost effective, clean and safe. Bed was soft. Water hot. Rooms quiet. The bedspread was a bit worn, but this hotel was much nicer than the Americana Inn I'd stayed the night before in Henderson TN - and it was less expensive too. I will definitely stay here again.

Friendliest experience, from the phone call to check on their pet policy to checking out! Clean room, comfortable bed, ok breakfast all at an amazing price! When calling about their pet policy, she thoughtfully put us in the room at the end where there is a very generous amount of grassy area just outside the door. So, to all you traveling with your fur babies, especially larger dogs, I highly recommend this motel, their pet charge is only $10 & no size limit!!!!! There is a Dollar General next door, easily walked to, in case you get the munchies or need anything. A Subway is in the gas station next door & a small local restaurant just across the highway. Bottom line, this is a clean, comfortable, budget priced establishment that I would recommend to anyone searing for a place to stay in this area.

The guy at the front desk was super friendly. My room was clean and smells good. I travel for a living and this is one of the cleanest super 8 hotels I've stayed in.

If I only were allowed to post the pictures of the mold on my bed skirt. My co-workers wife was eaten almost alive by bed bugs. Another co-worker was charged $353,000 instead of $353. I was ripped off as well, paid for a single room and was charged for a double for a week. Not one to write a review but this was just too atrocious not to say anything about.

Could have earned 2 stars if it was not for heavy cigarettes and weed smell in the room, filthy dirty walls, doors and bathroom counter space. Hair all over the towels. Trash behind bed and around ( see pix). For google rating of 3.8 stars was not expecting such a mess. Reviews and ratings definitely fake. This might be Hilton in India but not up to civilized individual in USA. Advertised breakfast is a joke. It consists of prepackaged honey buns, 2 kinds of sugar cereal, gallon of milk and gallon of orange juice is the small fridge under the counter. Smells horrendous in the office and dining area. Pluses include firm mattress, hot shower with good flow and quite at night.

Prior visits here have been fine. This time they had a new/untrained person at the front desk. Not only did she not know how to transfer a call to the room when I called long distance to speak to my husband, but she did not know how to get him a wake up call this morning!! VERY disappointed this visit. This is the only motel my husband (pastor) will stay when he is in town visiting inmates at the local prison. I encourage the owners of this place to give their employees some training before they leave them on the job alone!! (by the way i am clicking 2 stars and looks like this site is posting 3 1/2)!!

They need new mattresses so sleeping will be more comfortable is the main thing. A few upgrades wouldn't hurt either. Not a horrible place or the worse place I've stayed or been too.
