What a hidden gem! I have been wanting to visit for a while now, but today we made the decision to take a trip specifically for this place and how glad I am!! They have a MASSIVE selection with great variance. It’s a lot easier to navigate than what I expected and while a bit tight to navigate at times, it’s because they have so much inventory to choose from. The staff was friendly, and we got to meet the store cat. Their children’s section is such a nice touch and the pricing is a lot more affordable than McKays in Knoxville. Overall, I can’t recommend it enough. We will definitely be back!

Loved the bookstore. It can get a little claustrophobic in certain aisles but that’s because they just have so many books for the space. The selection was awesome. Lots of older books with cool, vintage covers. The prices are awesome. Most of the books I looked at were in the 3-6 dollar range. A lot of $1 books. The most expensive book I picked up was 10.95 and it was an awesome hardcover in great condition. I love the cat that hangs out in the store. Everyone seemed really nice. I loved it. What a gem of a store. I found some awesome books and had a blast while I was there.

Wonderful, privately owned small town Bookstore with an enormous collection of books from all genres. A book lovers dream, offering over 200,000 volumes! Perfect place to bring your kids and escape to this enchanted forest nook for an afternoon. Main Street, White Pine, TN.

Decent sized book store with new and used options. It's a little tight in here, and they could benefit with some more square footage. Bonus points for the cat that lives in the store.

This bookstore is a fantastic hidden gem! I didn’t expect a lot from such a tiny town, but they have it all here, from kids to nonfiction to cookbooks to more recent books. It’s like a small, less crazy McKay’s and there’s a kitty to pet! I got a ton of workbooks for my preschooler and had fun looking at the Harry Potter merch I haven’t seen anywhere else.

They have a great selection of books at good prices. However, the situation with the stickers they put on the books is ridiculous! They need to use stickers that are MUCH easier to remove, and only put one on each book. I bought several books today, and one of them had 5 stickers on it, and all of them were nearly impossible to remove. How about offering to remove them for people who would like them off the books? PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Huge book selection. Very good prices. There is a LOT to see, but if you're willing to put in some time should be able to find what you want. Also, there are quite a few DVDs, Blu-ray, and music CDs.

Don't chat with this company on Facebook because, in my opinion, they are very rude. I was asking questions about their inventory and they blocked me completely. I buy thousands of books each year and they just lost a huge source of revenue. Regardless of telling the owner about our consignment services, or asking for book prices, there was no harassment at all. I hope she treats you better in person than via Facebook messaging.

This is the coolest bookstore! They have a vast collection at amazingly low prices, in addition to tons of movies, puzzles, records, CDs, and more. Well worth a visit!

Amazing prices amazing inventory, the kindest owners. Unlike many book stores, the discount books and free books aren’t just the unpopular discards, they’re nice books with great stories. Love it! The owners were even kind enough to give me a poster off of their window from a band I love who had played a show the week prior.

Love shopping here. The staff is always so nice, helpful, and welcoming. Had a small issue with an item we purchased but they quickly resolved it for us. Prices are super affordable with a good selection of older and new releases. Also like that they carry puzzles, music, DVDs, and collectibles as well so you get even more to shop through. And getting to have a little visit with the sweet store cat gives browsing through the books a more cozy feel.

I love this bookstore. I have gone here numerous times from the time they opened at the old building and up until now at the new store. They are so friendly and I love the huge selection of books they have. Some people who write a bad review are miserable people from the looks of it and have nothing better to do that to sit behind a keyboard ( and yes, you know who you are). I am not saying all complaints against certain businesses aren't legitimate; however, the complaints against this store are not true. They do a lot for the community and work very hard to provide a much needed place locally to buy books. Keep it up. You are all doing a GREAT job!

Although the prices are good I must say I was very disappointed going into the bargin room. It was very musty so I couldn't stay in there very long. And the books were just scattered willy nilly so it was overwhelming and hard to find anything I was really looking for. The prices are good like I said and I did find some good books, but the bargin room was overwhelming and disappointing.

These people could not be nicer and the store is awesome. While you can get newer books here, it reminds me a lot of a little free library except it has full-time staff. I also like the fact that they didn’t mind my little dog, which I have to take with me everywhere because she’s 16 years old now, I will continue to shop at the store. It’s worth the drive.

Out of the 20 or so books I was looking for, they had all of them besides one, and that one is very hard to find. Very friendly staff and row after row of books to choose from. Highly recommend!!

This store is absolutely the best! They love the community and support other small businesses in the area! Their book selection is just amazing and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The sales and give aways are always just as advertised and I love shopping here !

Great selection. Just keep an eye on your prices and total, it seems I am always charged $5-10 more than what my items add up to, including tax. Makes the sales seem not worth it. Also wish the graphic novels had their own shelf so you can see the books behind the front set of books.

Love this place! I go about every week, and I get a lot for what I pay for, and I mean a lot. They have movies as well as books, but my heart is books. They have every book genre you could imagine. They also have puzzles, kid books, anime, comic books, records, CDs, cold/hot long cups, and so much more. If you've never been then I suggest you take a look because if you love books, movies, puzzles, music, and more than I guarantee you'll love White Pine Books 📚
