This store is in White Pine Tn. They are competitive in pricing . However they are somewhat limited in the selection department.Dandrige FC is bigger newer and has a much wider selection.

Bakery department, Cake maker/decorator is Top notch! Not your usual “my job is to make cakes…you’re gonna get your basic cake,nothing more” cake decorator! Angela puts her heart into it and goes above and beyond!

Extremely rude and unprofessional encounter at the gas and go. Gave the lady a roll of quarters due to it being all I had and she asked my name to write it on the roll which is cool I understood they have protocols and a job Todo however after being asked for the 4th-5th time and I’m trying to respond to a call (I’m a fire fighter) and had to refuel todo so she got hateful and went on a rant and I replied I’d take my business else where then she proceeded to throw my roll of quarters down into the drop box to return it to me. She threw the roll so hard it busted open causing the change to go all over the place inside the drop box in which I had to waste more time picking out. She then stated she could care less and slammed the drop box back on my side. Now I understand people have bad days but this was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. I WILL NOT EVER return to this location due to it being the third rude encounter I’ve had with employees at this location! Food city get ya peoples act together!

The deli at the food city in white pine sucks. Was looking forward to rice and orange chicken today but they ran out of rice and only had one egg roll left so I didn't buy anything. It was like 2:04. Couldn't They make more? They never have breakfast out on time, they put lunch out early and it sits there and gets gross, and when they run out of something on the bar they don't make more even though it's hours before the deli even closes. The deli at the food city in greenville sucks too. The best food city deli I've been to is the one in Dandridge. Never a problem there. Always yummy. Always fresh. Never out of anything on the bar.

I visit here frequently but in the last few visits, I’ve had poor experiences. I have visited on a Monday, the past two visits and the produce is very lacking. A lot of it looked old. I bought a bag of lemons, only to discover there was mold on them when I got home. I ended up buying an expensive, organic red pepper because the other regular ones were old and each one had soft spots. The asparagus was starting to get slimy and the stalks were no longer firm. There were no strawberries at all. Maybe Monday is when they run out of things or something but I was really disappointed. The employees are wonderful at this location though and I truly love them. The location also does not carry all the cooking items I need. I often have to make an extra trip to Morristown to get the rest of my items. I ended up making a WalMart trip after my visit yesterday.

I went through line today and I definitely chose the wrong persons line to go through. Her name was Taylor. She seemed irritated just being there. I watched her roll her eyes at a customer in front of me as they tried to check out. She then just shoved the receipt in their hand. She then didn’t say a word to me as she was throwing my groceries around. I didn’t even get to the check out part before she was basically telling questions about the round up. Then didn’t even have the time apparently before moving on to the next customer. She has a really bad attitude and i will definitely not be coming in if she’s gonna have to check me out considering she doesn’t even want to be there.

Great place to go for groceries and fuel on Wednesday's they have a point system and one can get reduced fuel great store , plus they have a weekly sale paper and great selection on products and meat !

Nice bakery. Very convenient and great to run in for a few things. Employees are always friendly.Only con is that they'll only have two check out lanes open when they're very busy and the lines will be so long that you can't walk around them.

Bakery /Deli.... Superb group of people working behind the counters. Always willing to help and supply even the most picky orders. "Cheese ball with nuts, cheese ball without nuts!!!"Always clean and though I've never eaten at their deli food bar, it looks fresh most if my visits and clerk's/servers are friendly. Smells good too!!!

I shop here all the time. I have been shopping at Food City in White pine, tn for 21 years. The manager, Raymond has retired as of 3 years ago. The New manager, Melissa, that has replaced him is a little more friendly, but then I also have to realize everyone manager is not the same. The front end people she hires are much friendlier and more people persons which does make the store more inviting.

Since the new manager got there people have been walking out left and right. Some giving notices, but the fact that all those people that left have been with them for a very long time. They should have held on to their diamond in the ruff when they had him (Raymond Hurst). Now the place is going down hill.

White Pine Food City has gone downhill. Not only is the store looking quite messy and many of the products are usually found to be out of date,but there are several employees that are more than a little rude. I will say that there are a few employees that I would describe as kind caring and compassionate though. To them I am thankful.

Older store but clean. There wasn't enough cashier's and there is no self checkout to help mitigate this issue. I used the express checkout and has customers grumbling loudly while the cashier was slow. All in all it's fine. Just be prepared to move slow here.

I ordered a cake for my granddaughters 4th birthday. When I spoke to the bakery I asked if the could do a movie frozen cake. The lady put me on hold and said she had to check to see if they had a kit. They had 1 kit left.I told them I wanted it and told them my granddaughter's name and what day and time I would pick it up. First of all it was not a a the movie frozen cake and it was done in blue for a girl.. I would not recommend this store for any kind of cake. They can't follow directions. There meat doesn't look the great. It would be well worth the drive to Dandridge or Newport for your shopping needs.

Sadly. this is the worst Food City in the area. Dandridge is so much nicer and the ones in Newport are nicer too. Cleaner, better stocked, more selection.The staff is polite and helpful, that is about all I can say good about the WP location.

I love our food city. We always have the greatest weekly sales. There's a wide selection on everything so it cuts out having to stop2 or 3 different places for this or that to finish my grocery shopping. Now it's one stop shop for everything .it also saves me money&puts gas in my car by their reward point system. Customer service is always there to help assist you.
