Walked in, two employees standing behind the counter chit-chatting. They never even acknowledged I entered. I proceeded to try to find what I needed. As I searched the for what I was looking for , I passed another employee in an aisle. He was staring into to space and never spoke a word. I'm guessing that the days of the helpful hardware man are gone here. I'll just go to Portland from now on. It's a little farther, they act like they appreciate your business.

I will never visit the store again. The customer service has become as bad as it gets. I was in there 30 minutes earlier kept going to my asking for help barely could get overcome and then I acted like they didn’t want to help. Will the guy come back here to help me finally. I had the two fittings in my hand that I needed. He grabbed other fittings out of there which I should’ve paid attention. He gave me the wrong feedings now they’re closed an hour early I called up here told him about it came straight up here. They didn’t bother to tell me they were closing in five minutes. Drive all the way back they were locking the doors and wouldn’t help me. But the customer service is What really is terrible.. if you need to go to Hayes go to Portland by far the people are 1000 times better

Bought contaminated house paint which immediately bubbled, cost me 8hrs total labor on two New French doors.Was told first, it was mixed wrong. Then, advised me that it was a cheap brand of paint (Royal), which they originally had me use because high quality?? Said it was customer responsibility when out the door. Would give me another gallon free (which I already paid for. Supporter this local business for over 25 years. Not anymore. Please shop elsewhere ! Sad really over gallon paint! Nice store, staff is ok, depending on the moment. I went in there 5 times over 2 days and only once did someone approach me to offer to help and I'm sure it was only because it was the one time my husband was with me. Either way I always received assistance though, store was clean, prices good, got everything I needed eventually.

Needed some plumbing supplies in a hurry. Have an electrical project needing done. Spring is here, so if you have gardening supplies you're needing or the family is begging for some grilled burgers and hotdogs, or maybe a smoked pork butt for some great homemade barbecue you can get it all at Ace Hardware.Got some Weber sweet rub and mesquite and Cherry wood to flavor my next smoked menu.Go see the folks at Ace. They have what you need when you just can't wait.

First off the employees are not always on floor hard to find help the short women with glasses very rude and store looked nast this store can't even come close to portland store there they have great employees i get greeted when i walk in and everytime hands down .

Shelf marked wrong and they didn't honor the price, customer service is already lacking at this location, the Portland location is way more on top of their customer service. Was offered a 10 % discount while marked price was 50% less than price that rang up. I get having to make money but use this this as a coaching time for your employees on importance of proper placement of items

Ace it's the place I go for nuts and bolts and if they ever stop that then yeah I'll have a big complaint. But there is one thing that's annoying and sad. The coffee and the popcorn is missing for a long time and I don't want to hear anything about covid just bring them back!!! By the way the customer service is top-notch 😁 even though they always ask me "what's this for" when I go to find a nut or bolt.

Love this store for "quick run and get it" items when working a project. If they don't have something, they will order it and it's usually there in 24-48 hrs. Also, they carry far more items to fix whatever is needed for your home appliances - not as many now as they used to, but if they can get it they will.

Went and needed a key cut. Refused to do it because I was providing the blank. They have the gear to do it but not the blank and still refused.Additionally I informed them I do. ot need any programming done just the mechanics of getting the key cut.

It’s very disappointing to walk in a store to get three very small paint samples and have to wait 45min for them when there are only two people before you. They were low staff which explains it partly, but at the same time it’s a business. Answering personal calls and leaving your paint station(when you’re the only one who can mix paint) to help a guest the person at the register could help, is ridiculous.

They were so helpful and patient when my bank cards weren't working right. There was also a very sweet young man who offered to pay for my propane I had gotten. Needless to say when I finally got my husband's credit card to go through, I proceeded to my car and called my bank (the same one my husband's card is on) and had some not so nice words with USBank. I am so sorry for all the people who had to wait. The employees at Ace Hardware are wonderful.

Always friendly neat and store organized. While there a customer was mad because the person who knew about a weed whacker was at lunch. He was talking loudly and abusively. The manager came to help him was professional and courteous to the rude customer. Good job!

Ace is the place, unless you ask for help from the young ones. Not very knowledgeable. But I'm sure he'll learn.Went in 3 days in a row. Third day went in for 2 parts and this (kid) employee started shaking cause there was only 1 min until closing and he didn't have a clue as to what I needed. So I had to go to Nashville get the parts and drive back to Whitehouse to finish the job the next day. But I still give them 4 stars.

If you are looking for a hard to find, obscure item, chances are really good this ACE Hardware will have it. It is amazing the items that are housed in this store. There is also no shortage of people willing to help you. I stopped by today for a few items and no less than 6 people asked me if I needed help. Everyone was friendly and and eager to help. This store is sure to serve all your hardware needs. They also have a nice paint and cleaning supplies selection. This ACE Hardware also makes key and can fill propane tanks. I am sure they will have what you need or be able to point you to a store that has it.
