The people that work there are awesome. They really love the animals and are so polite and willing to help adoptive paw parents. We just became paw parents again and chose to go to this shelter. They were so nice to us and very knowledgeable about the animal we chose. I believe we adopted the smartest dog in the world

Have pets need a vet , Waverly Animal shelter has some of the BEST vet's around I've had several pets15 dogs over the years, and they all lived a wonderful life having these Animal Doctors keep them healthy

Well in my opinion this place's staff are great, very friendly ,eager to help ,and just plain nice. My baby sister went to get a cat ,and they helped her do just that unfortunately after getting him home there were some unforseen complications that couldn't be resolved ,so he had to be returned ,and they understood ,and welcomed him back with no negative feelings. Now if you ask me they are under funded ,not that I'm saying anything bad towards them they'd the best the can with what they got ,and they do a great job ,but I say this I. Hopes of of there is a way to provide more funds to help them do there jobs then please do.

The Shelter does its best to provide, not just a temporary place out of the cold, a home until permanent ones are found.I have been blessed by adopting from the shelter, as well as knowing that when I could no longer keep my furbaby the Ladies would put them in loving new homes.Since the Shelter works with so many rescues, they truly are active and invested in saving all the lives possible. They cannot do it without help. A quick call and you can find out how best to help, for college age young people volunteering is wonderful on applications. After all, we are The Volunteer State.

They really care.if u can't afford service they will try to get funds 4 u through humain society & make small mo payments for part of money u we're given towards service. They also have given me after hrs treatment advice over the phone 4 free.
