This place had a very Big spider in the front of the store in between 2 poles. My 2 1/2 yr old grandbaby almost got bitten by this 🕷. I went in and told the store clerk about it and she came out immediately and took a broom and knock down the with and got the spider. You know it's really grateful for her actions she took I'm responding immediately two situations so that no one else would have a chance of getting bit by it. Thank you store clerk for your concern toward others.

This is my favorite Dollar General in this area. It is always so clean and has such an amazing variety of items stocked. I find the best accessories, stationary, art supplies, and so many other little treasures. I also love their home decor items. The prices are always affordable and their digital coupons help me to save tons of money.

They are supposed to be open at 8 am but every time I happen to go down there at that time they are closed. I think I went there once at 8 when they were open. There is one or two really nice ladies and then the rest of the people are nuts half of the time. But it’s the hours that bother me, update your hours so I don’t waste gas and time please

Bought a jug of water at this store that was supposed to be gain laundry detergent ! So check it before you buy it, cause when I went back to return it to get what I paid for in the first place , The so called manager with red streaks in her hair basically called me a liar! And refused return ! So corporate needs to find out who’s robbing them on the inside. Cause I work for a living and do not steal from anyone, if I was a thief I think I could do better than stealing gain from a dollar store lol😂. The manager at the hunter store is awesome. Now she’s a real manager. Very polite and courteous unlike that poor excuse for a manager at watauga location

So much easier than having to run to the other side of the town that's also on the other side of the county. Easy to get to, plenty of parking, friendly staff, good stock of necessary items and reasonable prices. And it's always clean. Very Nice

Best customer service ever! Visited tonight, January 29th, around 8:30pm.The two women working were the nicest, most helpful staff I have ever dealt with from Dollar General. Too bad other employees don't follow their example.

This location is my FAVORITE one to stop at!! Not only is conveniently located on my way home but we also shop at this specific store because of the friendliest people who work there!!They are always so friendly and eager to assist you. As a former DG employee, I appreciate the kindness of your staff.Store was clean and neat, very well stocked and organized.

We got there a little bit before closing time. As the girl at the counter screamed 5 minutes, my wife said we have to get out soon. I was about to ask the price of some razors so feeling rushed started walking back to put it up,my wife headed to the register and...2 MINUTES!!!! HOW RUDE. So dropping what we had to get out before Bonnie n Clyde pulled on us for maybe staying 2 minutes after the shift the man smiles and says ....see it will be ok....saying I heard her and we are leaving,without probably $30 worth of things, he never spoke not was we told Any appology or a good night.So I strongly suggest to go during the day,like most of us that work can't do, or don't waste your time at this store with no customer appreciation.

I have been shopping there since they open the doors until one of the acting manager was extremely rude more than 1 time... I have never had a problem whatsoever with anyone else and I will not shop there again ! I have never delt with anyone so rude ...

The store itself was disarray. Stock was everywhere. The woman that was working register 1 was working hard trying to put away all the stock and taking care of customers. Even when she was backed up with customers the store manager never came to help her.
