When our family decided to get a new puppy, we knew that we needed strong boundaries and an obedient dog, especially with small children. We wanted a family member that could travel with us without a hassle. We decided to send our puppy (Toy Australian Shepherd) at 6 mos. for the Adult/ E-Collar Training. It was the best decision we have ever made for a pet. We can now have her in public with confidence. Thank you, Jennie. A well trained dog truly is a joy to own.

Jennie and Breanna helped my dog Blue and I overcome his past traumas and have a happier home. Blue came to me when a neighbor who was breeding German Shepherds became ill and passed away. He along with parents, several litters of puppies were left to fend for themselves. Everyone but Blue was able to be placed with families. Blue didn't trust humans. After months I was able to get Blue to approach me and receive love. But he continued to have major anxiety issues and sudden movements, loud noises sent him into fight/flight. I was 'loving' him thru these times. Jennie explained clearly that Blue needed love but more importantly he needed a leader. Blue wasn't a natural pack leader and without someone to follow he felt he had to lead and this wasn't his nature. I have learned so much from Kindred Spirits about dogs and how they are wired. I have had dogs in my life since I was a toddler. But this new knowledge is not just helping me with Blue but with all future relationship or encounters with dogs. We did private lessons with Breanna, and her kind and patient support helped me thru my anxious feelings of which Blue was keenly aware, and made his anxiety worse. Jennie and I have many heart to heart conversations about my situation and what was best for Blue, causing me to look at myself and make sure I am doing what is best for Blue always. At Kindred Spirits your dog's physical and mental health is the focus. I am not aware of the thoughts that went into Jennie's business name but she is truly a dog's kindred spirit. Kindred Spirts Dog Training has been the biggest blessing to my family and we plan to continue our training in 2024.

This review is 100% a positive endorsement of the training services offered by Jennie and team at Kindred Spirits Dog Training.My wife and I were lucky enough to acquire a Bluetick Coonhound puppy in October 2022 and we were able to perform some basic training and skills, but nothing to the level that we wanted for him and needed for him as hounds can be tough if they are not trained. We researched for a bit and landed on Kindred Spirits to send Clyde to their 3 week board-and-train and we also chose to have them collar train him (100% recommend).Clyde came back with much better manners and really great improvement at skills such as sit, down, place, stay, leave it, and leash skills. 3 weeks may seem like a lifetime when leaving your pup, but they were great at communicating and sending picture updates and we could tell that Clyde was having a wonderful time.He is 9 months old now and we've been able to take him in public with us without any worry or issues. At restaurants and bars, if we tell him to stay, he does without batting an eye. We've recently kayaked with him and his recall was spot on.Thank you Jennie and Kindred team for the great work you did with our boy!

Jennie has done a fantastic job with our Malinois, a very high spirited, active dog. Kita now is a pleasure to walk, she minds well, and she came home a much calmer dog. Jennie is a great trainer of owners as well, a pleasure to work with. Her facilities are also immaculate! Highly recommend Kindred Spirits Dog Training!!

I took a Komondor puppy to Jennie 10 years ago with wonderful results. We acquired a Goldendoddle that needed manners so we took her to Jennie at 8 months old for training. We picked up a fully disciplined dog today! Her training is unbelievable at the difference it makes in a dog. Jennie is the best with dogs that I have seen. I would recommend Kindred Spirits Dog Training to anyone wanting a well behaved dog!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow! Jeanie is absolutely the best of the best! I couldn't imagine anyone more dedicated and passionate about their job. Our dog is a one year old lab/heeler rescue who needed some serious help. Our girl was aggressive, wild, and just outright disobedient. We sent our dog for 4 weeks of training with Jeanie and she came back to us a new dog! Peace has been restored in our home and we couldn't have done it with out Jeanie's professional help. Jeanie counties to help us with any concerns we have and is always happy to help. I'd recommend Kindred Spirts to anyone who needs help with training their pup! You will not be disappointed! I dropped my mini labradoodle off with Jennie for 4 weeks. I picked her up yesterday and she is night and day different. She suffered from separation anxiety and now she is calm and adjusting very well go city living. I can not say enough great things about Kindred Spirits. Great communication throughout the course of 4 weeks and very clear direction on what to continue to work on once I brought her home.

Kindred Spirits and their trainers Jennie and Breanna were amazing with my 6 month old golden retriever! The facility was great and they seemed to have spent a lot of one on one time with my pup. She learned to walk good on a leash, as well as to place, stay, and leave it. Overall the trainers were very attentive and responsive! Leaving your dog is like leaving your child and they made me feel much better about leaving her behind for a month. Highly recommend sending your pup to them for any obedience or behavior training needs!

Jennie and Kindred Spirits Dog Training totaly transformed our dog and our relationship with our dog. Before doing the 3-week program with Kindred Spirits Dog Training, we were having so many problems including issues with walking our dog on a leash, issues with barking at other dogs, being left alone at our house and others. Our dog came back a different dog! So much more enjoyable to have him now thanks to Jennie. I highly reccomend her program.

Jennie is an animal magician. I met Jennie after adopting a rescue dog that had some emotional issues, likely due to poor genetics. He was a really sweet boy, but was constantly one bad day away from potentially doing something very bad indeed. His sweet little heart was never quite satisfied with just being a good dog... he wanted to be in charge. After he got into a fight at dog daycare, I was searching desperately for someone to help him. I stumbled across Jennie's site and I knew she was right.Jennie took my dog for two weeks. From the moment we pulled onto her farm, he was so happy. I left him there, and came back in two weeks to a changed animal. Jennie won his heart over, and he never behaved in any way that could be considered the slightest bit aggressive ever again. We had a wonderful year together before he passed, made easier by his emotional healing that he received with Jennie.In another situation, my dog might have had to be put down for his behavioral issues. Jennie is kind, patient, joyful and full of fruit of a peaceful life. She thinks the world of her animals but doesn't let them get away with anything. She sees discipline as an opportunity connection and not punishment. She took my "bad boy" and made him into a kind and sweet boy.I've had the privilege of watching Jennie work with dogs and horses since, and she is consistently loving, kind and firm, while always thinking of the animal first. I cannot tell you how much she changed my life. If you are considering her, I cannot recommend her services highly enough.

Jennie was so great with my pup! Willy, my dog, is very smart but very stubborn and she did a great job at getting a good foundation with the basics and it teaching me how to follow up and continue his training. Willy was safe and happy there and I would happily send him back if needed more advanced training!

Jennie was awesome and I'm so glad I chose her to train my dog. She worked with him on leash training specifically, as well as commands and utilized an e-collar to help with his over-excitment issues. He is doing so much better now, and he seems to respond more to training than he did before. She worked with me and gave my great advice on how to continue his training, and also provided me with a e-collar which is really working great. I've seen a lot of improvement and I feel comfortable training him myself and making more progress thanks to Jennie's help!

I have had the pleasure of having 2 of our (grand) dogs trained by Jennie. Our oldest son has Harrison who is a working dog on the farm. He amazes me at how smart he is. We also have Thalia our middle sons dog while he is away serving our country. Not only did Jennie do an amazing job training her but also training us to teach us how to expand on her training and discipline. We sent our rescue boy here for 3 week board and train. We are absolutely blown away by the changes that she has been able to make. Our expectations were met and exceed. We absolutely love having our high energy dog under control off leash so he can get the exercise he needs. Her facilities are extremely clean and I felt confident leaving our loved one here. Jennie Jones and Kindred Spirits Dog Training have been a blessing to my GSD Sable Whiskey and I. I sought out a dog trainer after I took my fear aggressive GSD to the vet and it went so bad that I was not able to get him into the building. I was in an extremely stressful situation with a potentially dangerous GSD who was also stressed due to being relocated to a new city, with no familiar faces, and cooped up because of the pandemic. I vetted quite a few trainers before I found and talked to Jennie, none of them expressed the same passion and that is ultimately why I chose Kindred Spirits. Jennie took the time to listen to me and understand my concerns because as a student, with a hectic schedule, I was not able to take on the brunt of the work, and as a responsible dog owner I wanted to get him the help he needed. Sable Whiskey went through the 4-week board and train program where Jennie worked with him to restore his confidence, walk on a lease, interactive positively with other dogs, and obedience. After the program, Jennie helped me work on building my confidence as a leader and prepared me to handle any potentially stressful situations. Even after all this, Jennie boarded Sable Whiskey for an additional week to work on getting him to a local vet’s office, where he was able to undergo all the care he needed. Jennie helped us in so many ways and I cannot express how grateful we are to have her on our team!

Jennie is an AMAZING dog trainer and I would highly recommend her! I am a disabled veteran, military spouse, and mother of two young children. I contacted her expressing my desire for a dog for my family and she placed a rescue dog, Ruger, with us. He is a great dog who is trained and whenever I needed any help with his training Jennie has been incredibly helpful. She LOVES dogs and people, but is not in dog training for the money. She ensures she places dogs with people who can care for their dog. In addition, she was very helpful when I explained I do have physical limitations and helped me find solutions to those disabilities. I have since then adopted a new rescue dog and she has been immensely helpful with our new dog’s training. I consider her more of a friend and am so incredibly thankful for all her help! We loves our dogs and am so thankful for the love they provide us. Its been very healing and therapeutic for us and we are honored to provide our dogs their forever family.

If you are contemplating dog training, especially with Kendred Spirits Dog Training, I'm here to tell you to make the leap! Jennie is amazing at training and such a pleasure to talk with. We brought our Aussiedoodle, Reid, here after having him 3 or 4 weeks. He was a puppy mill rescue (1.5 years old) and had a problem with pulling/leash reactivity and would not focus at all. He would see another dog on leash and freak out, even if it was 200 yards away. He would bark, growl, wimper, and jump. No correction worked to snap him out of the red zone he went into. This caused a lot of arguing and tension in the home because we dreaded walking him and a neighbor complained, expressing concern about safety due to him freaking out with us unavailable to snap him out of it. So, we sent him to Jennie for 3 weeks and I am unbelievably impressed with the transformation! We got him back today and I took him on a walk at the Greenway where he stayed in heel and behaved like an angel. Then this afternoon we took him for a afternoon walk with our other dog where we passed a German Shepherd, Reid wined but the moment we made a correction he started walking on like the dog wasn't even there... Easily the best money I ever spent! So grateful for Jennie and her business!

Great experience for my young Siberian Husky and myself. Jennie was my first experience with a professional trainer . I taught manners to all of my previous dogs myself ! But for my husky to learn about loose leash manners was essential for a working breed to know while still young !

Jennie was able to take the small amount of knowledge I had about handling and transform me to confidently use my commands. Now my dogs respect me and know that I am the leader. So much of handling issues come from us and not the dog. She not only trains the dog but you as well. I couldn't ask for a more connected, in tune trainer. I reached out to kindred spirits to get a dog for my 2 boys. My husband past away last year and I just wanted to give them the happiness of having a puppy. I had a hard time trying to train a miniature Yorker it was nearly impossible so I had to find her a home. I felt horrible having to take her away from the boys but she was pooping in cage at least 5 times a day no matter how many times I took her out and she would eat it as well.So I decided to go on line and find a place that was more reputable to purchase a dog as well as train.I spoke with Jennie Jones and and was ecstatic she had a dog she thought would be a perfect fit. She was going to keep the dog until it was positively trained because she new how important that was to me.I followed up with her after a couple of weeks and asked how the dog was doing. She told me he only had one accident. I asked what the hold up was if he only had one accident and her personality did a 180 on me. She told me I don’t need to get the dog if I don’t want it and went into a rant.. I was devastated not only on her unprofessionalism but also because I had to now explain to by boys we weren’t getting the dog.. I am still to this day shocked and disgusted at her behavior. Not sure if my simple question offended her or if her confidence in training the dog wasn’t existent. Either way it is unbelievable and unprofessional. Obviously this is an unreliable organization and if I could have rated a 0 star I would have.
