My friend and I went through the drive through and after waiting behind another car for a good while we get to the window and wait a while longer..thinking well at least our food will be fresh if they are making it..no..my friend ordered a hot dog meal with a medium fry and she got a medium fry cup literally only half filled with old..really cold..obviously picked out of the tray fries and a hot dog that was turned over sideways with everything spilled out everywhere probably to hide the fact it too was old and had like 2 pieces of string cheese on it...my sad little corn dog was cold as well. The ice in our drinks were melted and really watered down.. Normally we arent really picky..its fast food..but to have the wait we did and then to get old food is really disappointing..I understand coming an hour before closing can be frustrating for y'all..I worked at sonic many years..it was my first job..I get it..but eating out is expensive and people should get decent food..the whole order was cold and thrown together so sloppy...I hate being that person giving bad reviews..I swear Im not a "can I talk to your manager" type person but come on man. 😂

I just ordered food from Sonic a while ago and i have to say. They have put in a lot of effort and work into improving their service as a whole. When I went there I was welcomed with friendliness and the lady that took my order was so professional and she got my order in flawlessly! I was already beaming with pride for just this interaction and then I got home with the food, which was carefully prepared and neatly tucked away in tight wrappers. Looked like the person perfected the shape of the foil before even bagging it. Lol and yes! The food was fresh and totally tight yo. 🔥 🔥

Typical fast food, but certainly more consistent than other options around Wartburg. Always nice to get a fresh crisp drink when you're thirsty and those pretzels and cheese are always fresh.Thanks to the app, it's a breeze to order exactly what you want without that awkwardness at the drive thru.

Sonic is a familiar fixture. Its drive-in format and better than average burgers, fries, dogs and shakes make it a treat to visit.Harkening back to my youth (longer ago than I care to remember) it's the nostalgia for me that makes the place special.Service was great and our server was very helpful with options and choices. I'll definitely go back there soon!

Smiling faces, but slow service and cold food. Onions on a burger that doesn't even come with onions, only end slices off the tomato. Not the worst sonic experience I've ever had, but a close second.

This sonic has had it rough the past few years but they do the best they can and there may be some excessive waits but with little to no staff people just have to be more understanding and if your in a hurry you definitely should consider another place to eat and not take it out on the only staff working… but the staff I’ve interacted with are positive and very friendly especially the little blonde girl that works first thing when it opens. Very hard worker! I work 3rd shift and use the app to get breakfast on my way home and it’s always a pleasant annd easy transaction. Y'all's hard work is noticed..keep up the good work :)

Can’t give less stars or I would. My husband and I eat at the Sonic in Wartburg often as the restaurant choices in the area are extremely limited. We get our food there and bring it home. While the service is friendly, the food just keeps getting worse. Ordered a small cheese sticks today. They tasted like they were made yesterday or the day before. They were not hot at all. Not sure we will return anytime soon.

The burger was good I stopped for coffee which was ok. The problem was I had to practically beg for extra condiments. The 2 girls that were working were not happy campers it was almost midnight. Maybe it was pasted their bedtime.

This Sonic is usually decent but recently they have gone downhill. The staff is very nice but we had to go through the drive thru 3 times because they kept giving us the wrong order. I understand mistakes happen but that's excessive. I likely won't be returning to this location because of this and the past few bad experiences.

Placed an order on the app. Got there. Checked in. After a few minutes, the app said my order was on the way out. 30 minutes later, nothing. Pushed the red button at the stall. Nearly ten minutes later, someone answers. Gave them my ticket number and someone, not the carhop, brought out my watery tasting drink and barely warm onion rings quite quickly. Probably had been sitting out this entire time. They were busy and I overheard the carhop say she was the only carhop. The person who brought my order was very polite and apologetic about the time it took to get my order. They were obviously working hard without enough staff and things get overlooked. I didn't send my order back because I didn't have another 30-40 minutes to burn. Sonic has the best onion rings and I'll go back some time but I don't know that I'll use the app again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely ridiculous service! I place an order for 5 drinks. Just drinks. Placed the order AN HOUR AGO!! Pulled up and checked in..and sat there for 20 minutes and they still didn't have my drinks ready. Then they said to hold on they would give me a refund..mmsat in the car another 10 mins...nothing...thanks for making us late to my son's game!! Usually when someone places an order an hour I'm advance for DRINKS it's not a problem. But clearly it's a problem with this sonic.

The workers are always really nice! The other night we came and all the booths were filled which wouldn't be a problem except staff was parked in a few of the booths. I feel like they should park in the spots without speakers and leave the others available for customers. It wasn't a huge deal though we just went through the drive thru instead.

A mistake happens but the last 6 or 8 times I went to wartburg location my orders are messed up or patties still frozen on the inside. Not been there in a long time for that reason. Went tonight get home and guess what. No Patti on my cheese burger. I will bot go back!!!

This Sonic is clean and well lit. We went through the drive thru and it took a few minute to be greeted and our order taken. They weren't that busy, but they could have been short handed. Once at the window, again it took a few minutes before we were asked what our order was, told the total, and paid. Our order was as expected.

Yet again. I sat in the drive thru after ordering my food. On the screen it showed 3 #10s sandwiches. The other food i ordered and the drinks. I get up to the window pay for the food get the receipt and it says i only asked for 1 sandwich. They got my order wrong. When they clearly heard me say 3. Then i had to wait 30 mins holding everyone else up because the food wasnt ready. Instead of telling me to move up to get someone else. They said not to worry about them in the most snarkiest way possible it seemed. Said theyd walk their food out that i can sit still. Its like they werent even taking their job seriously. People rely on that servuce to get food and go. This was ridiculous that i had to wait 30 mins for cold food

We placed our order at 915 pm, and there were only 3 or 4 other cars there at the time. We ordered 3 drinks, 4 ice creams, and a cheeseburger. He screen finally said the order was on its way out. So we waited and waited about 10 more minutes. My husband pushed the button again and asked if the girl had gotten lost with our order. Five minutes later, she comes out with it.... it was wrong. After an additional 13 minutes, the corrected stuff is brought out. The people next to us arrived at least 10 minutes after us, ordered a much larger food order, and their order came out before we could get our seat belts on. Not happy at all. The only reason I am giving a 1 star rating instead of 0 stars is because the guy that brought the corrected order to us, was very nice and apologetic. The best part was the girl telling the people next to us that she was sorry they had to wait soo long ROFL.

Have stopped here 4 times. The food is good, but the order is never right. Today we ordered 1 chili dog cheese and onion and 1 chili dog onion and mustard only. Both chili dogs had cheese. Really! Can't even get a 2 chili dog order right. At least the food is good. Lol

Everytime me and my bf go here to eat they always get the order wrong and it's always the simplest things like no tomatoes or something. I even asked for a blur coconut slushie I needed up getting just white slushie ice.

Sooo for starters we did not enjoy the homeless man standing outside our car touching himself right in front of our car. Making the experience worse our food was not very good. The ultimate meat and cheese breakfast burrito was not made correctly and cold. The Jr deluxe cheeseburger was a poor excuse for a menu item. Fries were old. The pretzel was wayyyy to salty.

Good food good people just sometimes gets a little busy during the lunch rush and the evening.Kid-friendliness: A couple of the ladies always when they see our daughter give her a little extra cherry or something on her ice cream and always come to the window to talk to her. They gave her a cup of the gummy sharks for her birthday last year!
