On 11-24-23 at 9:45 PM, I bought 10 small bottles of paint, two big bottles of paint, 1 large canvas, and 2 medium sized canvases.The medium sized canvases are $3.50, the large one is $5.50.The woman at the register started ringing up the canvases first, and rang the large one up (3) times. It was supposed to be 1 large canvas and 2 smaller ones. I pointed this out to her halfway through her ringing up the paints and she SHOOSHED me, and said "I don't want to go get my boss to change it."At this point, I thought she was joking, so I waited till the end of her ringing the paints up. She told me the total (which is $5 more than it's supposed to be) and I explained again about the size and prices of the canvases.Again, she shooshed me repeatedly, and said she didn't want to get her boss.I asked her if she was joking, and with a attitude she said "No."I told her to go get her boss.She said "really?"I said that I wasn't paying an extra $5 dollars because she rang it up wrong, and to again, go get her boss.At this point, I just really couldn't believe what just happened. Anyways, she comes back with her boss, and I tell her boss that she told me that she "Didn't want to get her boss to change it." And that she shooshed me repeatedly.The boss did not even acknowledge me. Didn't say a word, didn't look at me.I'm dumbfounded.All the while the cashier is trying to make up a story that she was confused. Uh, no, that's definitely NOT what happened.The boss left and the cashier said the total is right now.I knew it wasn't, based on the total and said there must be an extra paint.She said no, they are all rang up correctly, to which I responded, "No, I want to count them."I was rung up for one extra paint.She said "I guess I'll go get my boss again."Uh.... yeah???Boss came, didn't look at me, changed it again.Finally I paid for the paints and canvases and left.Keep in mind, I was calm through this whole ordeal, until I realized she wasn't joking. Even then, I didn't make a scene, I didn't yell, didn't cuss, even tho I was infuriated that a cashier was trying to charge me an extra $5 "because she didn't want to go get her boss" and the manager didn't care at all.So Dollar General, you really need to take a look at who is working for you. Both your cashiers and managers.

I tried 3 times in one day to do a pick up order. I got confirmation and the order never went through to the Store though I was charged each time.The employee I talked too had no solution I called CS for DG canceled and was assured the app was working but as you can see in my post it did not.I will not order again strike 3.

Like most dollar stores, this one offers an array of general merchandise at low prices. This particular location is the same, although it had a reputation for being a mess, they have done much to improve the store's presentation and it is looking better than it used to. Local rumor is they are preparing to open a new location about 1-2 miles south on the same road and closing this one. That new building appears to be nearing completion.

I don't dislike Dollar General overall, but this particular store is bad. The store is cluttered, items priced incorrectly or not at all, and aisles blocked with stocking carts. I only go there occasionally, if at allHowever, the employees are friendly.

They always advertise sales but never give the sales price..most of the workers are nice and helpful though. Sometimes it's hard to get to things because stock carts are in the way and things aren't stocked regularly it would seem.

I love this store. They are always friendly now that they got new staff. Yes the aisles are crowded but that's because they are a small store and they have no storage area. I am almost always able to find what im looking for.

Just what you would expect from a Dollar General Store. Nothing fancy but decent selection and pricing. Don't expect to find peanut oil on Thanksgiving day (I didn't have enough to cover my turkey in my fryer) but they do carry corn oil!

This store is always a mess when I go in there, most of their products are on the floor, including clothes... It always seems so dirty and gross inside, and even when it rains, they still leave the merchandise sitting outside in it. I do like the manager Jessica along with most of the rest of the staff, and since she has become manager, I haven't notices any of the sandwich meat being out of date.

The store is in a good location. They had everything we needed for our picnic that day. We plan to stop there each time as we go to Frozen Head State Park.

I have to stop here frequently because the town of Wartburg doesn't have much for places to shop... The store is always dirty and cluttered, alot of items aren't restocked, sometimes for weeks, and the manager is often miserable. I always have to check the expiration dates on all food items because I have made it home many times(30 minutes away) only to discover that items I purchased are expired.

They are the only store in town that Carrys Cafe Bustelo. Thank you for always having this item on hand in your store. You guys are my life saver for this. I save 25+ miles in gas, and avoiding having to go to Crossville or Oak Ridge. The store staff are always courteous and friendly and quick. They always have some fantastic items to buy and great prices.

Everytime I go in this store it is a mess, unorganized and things scattered all over the floor. This location seems to look cluttered as well. The employees were very nice and friendly.

The people are pretty nice that work there, for the most part they do have many things that you would need in a pinch, prices are definitely fair, the only reason I gave it three stars is it could be a little neater looking.

A female cashier at this particular Dollar General Store in Wartburg, TN answered the phone the day after I was unable to find my wallet. I was really upset and angry with myself for being so careless. I knew the chances of someone turning it in were slim at best. Over a hundred dollars cash, credit cards, drivers license, all I feared were gone. This lady on the phone said she found it and put it up for me ! I rushed down to get it and handed her $80 dollars of the cash as a reward. She refused to take it !!! On this day, a young attractive lady stunned me !

The Wartburg store is getting better. For a while there you could never find anything due to the awful mess and nothing ever getting stocked. Boxes everywhere but nothing on shelves. It's a LOT, LOT better than it used to be.

Always a good experience when I go to the dollar general store! The only issue I have with the store (and I'd assume I'm not alone on this) is there is always and I mean always have some kind of UNPACKED MERCHANDISE in the aisles!!!

It's close to my house so I go in there all the time. I know all the staff and they are friendly, and will help with anything. The manger is great!

Good selection of general items and a few groceries. Good for quick needs instead of running all the way to town. Decent price on most items.

That would be the one at 1715 Morgan county hwy. And the service there is always very very pleasant . They greet with a smile and even ask if you need help . So yes the customer service amazing also there thank you

They never have items stocked. They are all on rollers sitting at the end of the aisles. Also the majority of the sale sighs I saw were from previous sales and they were expired.
