We've been twice now and I was lucky enough to get amazing bargains both times. I'm not sure if the second trip was worth all the digging we had to do, but it was something we saved $70 on. We don't like crowds and went in the morning through the work week, but forgot it was spring break the second time we went, so there were a good amount of kids there. I don't think it was my imagination that an employee was trailing us for possible theft, which was uncomfortable and shady, but maybe they have to worry about theft a lot there, and we're not thieves, so it was tolerable. The first time we went, at checkout, they opened the appliance we were buying and looked inside it, "to make sure there was no lawn mower battery- because those things are expensive," according to the clerk. Rampant thefts at a bargain store is very sad, but I guess you may want to hold your wallets close when you go, just in case the thieves are bad that day...? I honestly don't know if it's as bad as all this, but the employees will definitely make it seem so.

Store has great stuff for half the price. You just have to check the items out before purchase. Which I have no problem with.

Got a desk and rolling chair I wanted. I asked where the boxes for them were, and the employee found them for me with no problem. He helpfully took the heavy one to the front for me. The cashier told us about the one box being beat up, and reassured us it had all the pieces in because they made sure. Got home put both together no missing pieces, and they were the correct items. It was $140 all together. Might not be worth it to most but in my opinion that’s a great price.

Who was the complete idiot who decided this place would be better than gimme a 5.What a joke. Dirty, used, broken and overpriced on 90% of the stuff in here now.Employees are nice, but the store is a joke.I understand why everyone I know said they won't go there anymore.

The transition to Keevado from Gimme-a-5 has been terrible. My family and I have been going there for three years and have enjoyed the adventure searching for what they had. We were able to get great bargains. And if you bought something that didn’t work or was missing a part, it was only $5. Now you’re paying 3-20 times that amount Buy still taking the same risk. Frankly you can get as good if not better deals online with a warranty and a return policy.The only saving grace are the people that work there. They have always been incredibly helpful and friendly to my family and me. Yes they do have to yell at people to stop opening up the boxes. But that’s only because there are jerks that do just that and spread the parts everywhere - Just read in the side of the box of what’s inside folks.I truly wish that they would go back to their old business model but i don’t see that happening. Sad, it used to be a fun experience.

If I could I would give it negative stars I watched as one of the white ladys caused a big seen on some colored people buying multiple shoes they were struggling to understand what the white lady was saying and she got mad and started yelling at them telling them they don’t belong here since they don’t understand English to go back we’re there from when a another colored woman came in to help translate she was thrown out also for trying to help translate they even called the police on them when there was no issue for the white people who were buying multiple pairs of shoes right beside them once I get the photo of this lady I will post it

I miss the old store! It was such an adventure digging through bins not knowing what you would find for $5 or less depending on the day.The merchandise they have now is not affordable and they charge more for the same clothes and such that were previously $5 when it was Gimme a $5.Went by there today on to see a sign posted that they were "closed due to no internet". Nothing was posted on their FB page about this so it was a wasted trip.

This store is very over priced. I bought 2 pair of house shoes, 1 pair non name brand shoes and a pair of pants it was $40 . I will not be back

More employees walking around yelling “don’t open boxes or we will call the police” than there are working the register or helping you open boxes, half the boxes are labeled incorrectly so it’s still a gamble what you get, the staff is rude and apparently can’t read cause they’ll charge you the wrong price on almost every item if they aren’t corrected. Stood in line for 2 hours on opening day cause they had 2 registers open and barely anyone there helping. You definitely can get good deals but it’s hard to say if it’s worth the hassle

It's nasty and very unorganized! It looks like a bad yard sale. We shopped at Gimmea5 every week. Keevado leaves a lot to be desired. Pricing is outrageous for the junk they have and zero customer service. It was very disappointing to my daughters and me. We won't be back.

Make sure you ignore the rules of no opening the boxes at this place. If not, then you may get completely different items than what's on the box. I bought an automatic cat food dispenser for $30, and after getting home and opening the box, it was a kids' puzzle instead.

Used to be an amazing store everything 5$ and under same stuff they sell now for 50-100$. Not a great store better deals to be found other places.
