Nice store, we stop in when we are down that way. Always well stocked, and there are a few items we go there for specifically because others stores don't carry them. Produce doesn't seem to be the freshest, so dobe mindful when choosing fresh fruits and veggies. Staff is always friendly and it's always very clean.

Never to crowded and never rediculous lines they normally have 3 registers open and I get in and out in less then 10 minutes everyone is very friendly and helpful store is always clean highly recommend and the deli has some delicious offerings

We just moved to TN and had the PLEASURE of having Kurt help us! He unloaded, scanned, bagged our groceries WHILE signing us up for a food city card, explaining how the point system works and told us he was recently new to TN as well! Kurt was not only an example of an amazing customer service employee, but was kind to us as new residents to Vonore. It was a pleasure meeting you, Kurt! Thank you for your kindness!

The atmosphere is great. The products are fresh and stay fresh longer than Walmart or Kroger. Prices can be slightly higher on some items.

I go to the pharmacy for my medicine and the pharmacist and staff are always friendly and helpful. I will keep my prescription at the Vonore store. 😃

We stopped by the deli and discovered they had chicken salad in their cooler. Not just 1 offering but 2 types. We asked the attendant if the only difference was of the grapes in the 1 bowl. They confirmed that was the only difference. We bought the grapes version and took it home. Later on we both made sandwiches and immediately discovered an odd item in the salad. Our first thoughts were of splintered bone but after further picking the items out have concluded that it was most likely almond pieces. Disgusted, the salad went to the trash. Food City needs to do a better job of labeling their deli foods.

The bag boy there was very sweet and hepful, he was doing a great job and working hard. I believe his name was Bray or something like that, If someone is doing there best recognizing good hard work is important its hard to find these days. Highly recommended!

This is a great store. They just need more help. I don't think of this store as a discount store but it seems I have to bag my groceries more times than not.

Came in last week to order a carrot cake for my wife's birthday. Pamela, insisted on making me a fresh cake. Of course I wanted the little carrot decorations and a Happy Birthday message. I picked it up and luckily Pamela was there to give it to me. I thanked her profusely for doing such a great job and for being so kind during this whole process. The service she gives makes a difference.

Great variety for the area. They have harder to find items. The deli cooks are great! Clean store. The fresh seafood is decent quality. Friendly and helpful staff as well. Just wish the bakery had more selections in breads.

We shopped for the first time today at the Food City on Rt 72 in Vonore. What a great shopping experience! In particular, we’d love to recognize Laura and Bob at the checkout. When we told them that this trip was our first to the store they welcomed us, walked us through the gas points program and really talked up what a great grocery chain Food City was. Buy one git one is in big letters, but in small letters it says must buy 4, older folks are being duped by this, told an older couple and they couldn't believe it, they said they usually get two not realizing they were paying full price 😕 instead of getting 4 for 5.96,they were getting two, they sure no now, very thankful they were
