Really great milkshake! So glad to finally have a place in UC where you can get real ice cream! I am so tired of soft serve vanilla.I really enjoyed meeting the new owners. I love seeing husband & wife duos working together. The two are extremely friendly, down to earth, and overall impressive duo. I'll definitely be back for more chocolate milkshakes.

My first review was incorrectly tagged as we visited a different shop. Sugarcoated in Union City is top notch for everything! Service with a smile from the newest employee to the owners. The shop is CLEAN, including the bathrooms. I'd give them 10 stars just for this if I could. The frozen yogurt, hands down THE BEST around. We drive 1.5 hrs one way each time to enjoy their yogurt. They have a lot of delicious looking choices on their menu if froyo is not your thing, they also have ice cream and drinks and even delicious dessert stuff like campfire cookies! Can't say enough good things about the place, really go check it out for yourself.

Lots of different food options, the froyo was chefs kiss! everything was perfect, affordable, and a great memory.Vegetarian options: Had some vegan options!Kid-friendliness: all kid friendly food options, if you have kids that move a lot it would be fine because the floors are very open!

Everything was delicious! When they give you a scoop of ice cream, you get a full scoop! The toppings were fresh and plenty to choose from. The store was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly! You have to try it!

Literally here rn as I write this and it’s so good. Staff is sweet and helpful as well! It’s so clean and the prices are really good! Also their health inspection score is a 100!EDIT SINCE NEW OWNERSHIP ⬇️written on 5-27-23I just went a few days ago and it’s still really good! They have new flavors of ice cream and froyo. I recommend the Monster Batter; it’s my favorite. They still have the same toppings (from what I remember.) They also have cookies now. The other day when I went there they had cookies for dogs made up of applesauce, oats and peanut butter at a good price for the size of the cookies (3 for 3.29 after tax) my dog absolutely loved them. The staff is wonderful as well!

Great place. Very reasonably priced and as good as any ice cream I've eaten. Great variety of hand dipped and soft serve with lots of toppings to choose from. Milkshakes, sundays, banana splits, floats and lots more. Highly recommended.
