Self important clerks won’t let you buy a $.40 goldfish unless you have a 50 gallon tank. Tell that to my crying child whose 1 year old fish died because I forgot to change the filter. It’s a feeder fish!!! I can buy it to feed to something I presume, but here’s a nice $8 fish that’ll work perfect

Went here to buy a bottom feeder for a 5 gallon tank. The fish was literally maybe an inch long. The clerk said she couldn't sell it to us, unless we had a 50 gallon tank. ( keep in mind they had 20 of them in a 10 gallon tank) so.. I ask for a manager. He stated we have strict guidelines. Then another employee states we can put a snail in the 5 gallon but they don't sell them. Seems like to me they don't want to sell fish. They want to force you upgrade to buy their stuff. Didnt have this issue 2 years ago with them.

The staff is simply wonderful my new baby is going to start training classes...she had so much fun! There was only one harness that would fit her but the sales people made sure we left with something she could use... I was so happy with the experience

They wouldn’t sell me 1 goldfish for my 55 gallon tank he said he didn’t believe me and that i was lying about my tank size so I showed him a picture of it and he still refused to believe me he said “I don’t feel comfortable selling it to you I believe it will have a miserable life” they had probably 200 gold fish in a 5 gallon tank but thought I would give them a bad life for in a 55 gallon so I just said whatever and left and he said finally after I left so he just didn’t wanna sell me anything because he was lazy

You would do better business if 1) while you were telling people how they have to care for fish, you didn't have dead ones floating in yours, 2) you're telling me I need a 50 gallon tank for a pleco, but you 10 in that little tank. Makes no sense at all.

Staff is friendly. Selection is good. Prices seem a bit excessive, but my dog doesn't seem to mind. She enjoys picking out a bone or toy.

I like pet smart but double check your receipts for correct price I was over chartered nearly 30 dollars. This was a system error not the cashier so watch your totals.

We were interested in adopting a cat at this store. We filled out the application and the employee told us that we had to wait until next day to take him home. The next day they told us they gave the cat to someone else. My son was so excited to bring his cat home and now he is heartbroken. Thank you PetSmart!

This is the best PetSmart ever. The employees here are super cool and laid back. Very informative about the animals and creatures they sell. The store is kept nice and clean and stocked to the mostest.This store has something that most PetSmart's don't have, and that's a training area, where they will he train your dogs.For information check the photos.Like this post!

Im very upset!, I went to the store today to buy some food for my axolotls and wanted to see the betta fish and saw some almost dead and I’m not talking one or two but the wall of glowing betta fish in dirty water ! The one in the pic didn’t make it! You can clearly tell they haven’t been cleaning their water !! I took it up front and told them it’s upsetting to see them dead if they give discounts so I can rescue some but they said the DON’T clearly they don’t care about the fish, he told me they “treat” them but clearly it’s a lie they rather them die then send them to a good home I mean 22$ for a male betta and just let them die, to me it’s just so cruel!!!!!

Took my dog to get groomed. It was $97 after tax and I get my dog back and every paw has a nail bleeding I paid extra to get her deshedded and yet she still full of fur like she only had a simple bath and nails cut to short. HORRIBLE AND A WASTE OF MONEY

Refused to sell me a cichlid because I have a 30gal tank. Said it was “cruel” to put a cichlid in anything smaller than 50gal. This coming from a company that literally stuffs these fish into 2.5gal tanks for months. There were multiple dead fish in multiple other tanks. They need to get off their soapbox and sell the fish to people wanting to give them a better life. No one comes into a pet store looking for a lecture. Pick up the net and bag the fish. But hey now that fish gets to spend the rest of its days crammed into that box with 20 others. You really saved it from me.

Fish Customer Service not helpful. Wanted to get a few Goldfish for outdoor pond and we were informed they can’t get certain fish for you that they are not allowed. I know it takes extra effort doing that but it would have been nice to accommodate since we were the only customer there for fish. It was the manager over that department saying it’s their policy not to do that which is a ridiculous policy. We bought fish previously and the girl was very nice and accommodating which is what all of them should be. Not everyone wants just whatever color or size for a reason. Usually have great service there for all our other pets and services was very dissatisfied with service today. Won’t be back for fish there for sure and probably not for a while bc we drove a good ways to get there to leave with nothing…wasted trip!

Awful store. I filled out an application to adopt a cat for my son, they were to review the application and call me the next day. Nobody called me, and when I called them they said they sold the cat to somebody that just came in today. My son's very upset. Save yourself a disappointment, and don't shop at PetSmart.

My husband and I just left petsmart to get our son his first bearded dragon. Thank god for Travis, he told us everything we needed to know about bearded dragons, taking care of them as babies, the best food and environment for them, he was the best. So glad he was there. If you have any bearded dragon questions, ask Travis. He has 6 of his own!

I've been here several times with nothing but good experiences, so I took my kitten with me on my last visit. Everyone was so nice, and friendly to my cat and I! I cannot speak highly enough of this staff. Several times they have gone above and beyond to make sure I was buying the right item for my kitten. Great job, folks!!!!!

I'm glad you recommend the store to any pet lovers. I have a boxer pit mix and she is our baby with the negativity surrounding the pit species most people are very judgmental and stereotyping. But not here we wheeled her through the store so she could pick out her own present

It's an OK store. They never have enough employees scheduled to work. I spent 15 minutes looking for someone, just to get crickets. It wasn't because they were busy either, there was just no one to be found.They were well stocked on product. The employee when found was nice and interacted. They just need more workers.

It is unethical to sell Betta fish. Betta fish do not belong in tiny plastic cups. All of these fish show classic signs of depression in Betta fish, and yes, that is a real thing. Since Betta fish cannot be housed together, these separate plastic bowls are the result. These are the most mistreated fish. Betta fish are not meant to live in glass bowls or plastic, they need an actual tank with a filter. Do better. You are a pet store and yet you care nothing about the welfare of the animals you sell.

I just got off the phone with the wonderful lady who is in the reptile department. She was very friendly and informative of my questions about my snake Jager. We are new snake parents and want to take care of him to the best of our ability. I appreciate the time you took out of your day to answer my questions!! I live 30 minutes away and she also gave me alternative options in getting my pets needs without having to make the drive and even recommended a vet in case we ever need one. She truly went above and beyond!! This lady deserves a raise 🙂
