It's old and pretty smelly. I get it. It is what it is. But this used to be the place to take your pets that was inexpensive. They're higher than a lot of other vets, and the girl that administered dogs shots was not friendly and no bedside manner. That matters to me.

This review is in no way towards the doctors or anybody else at Trenton Animal Clinic. The Doctors always treat my dogs exactly the way I would want them to be treated and have no complaints.But….. the front desk lady’s are the RUDEST people I have ever met. It doesn’t matter if it’s on the phone or in person. They are rude and borderline hateful. Honestly I don’t even want to take my dogs back there because I don’t want to deal with them. It’s not a one time thing it’s every single time I’m up there they are rude. They talk about the customers in front of them as if we can’t hear them. When you ask them a question they act as if they are to busy to bother with you or that it’s a dumb question. It’s absolutely ridiculous that nothing has been done considering all of the negative reviews about them on here and I know a lot of people in the Trenton area feel this way. If I could I would leave a negative 5 star review simply because of the front desk ladies.

They are the best at what they do! Very kind and helpful! My dog ate poison and the doctor and staff helped him right away! An he was good to go after they told me how to help him go to the bathroom!! I will not take any of my dogs from here on out anywhere else!

I want to make a point to mention this negative review does NOT reflect on the vet techs or any of the veterinarians. This 1 star is directed to the front desk “customer service” receptionists. As someone who has worked customer service for over 15 years, I have never seen any one be as rude to a customer as the women at Trenton Animal Clinic, specifically Pam. I went in and sat in the waiting area with my dog, and I could hear every word she was saying to the other receptionist. She was very displeased that I failed to let them know I was married and when I signed in to be seen with my married name she made it clear she didn’t like that. I heard her complaints and said “yes I did get married!” To which she seemed to not hear me. Which I find hard to believe considering I could hear every word she was saying. She proceeded to say “I don’t know if she got married or what but she could let SOMEONE know!” This is all after they never said a word of greeting to me, didn’t even so much as look up when I stood and waited for her to put the clip board on the desk so I could sign in. Luckily for me I had been there before and knew the protocol for signing in, I guess if I hadn’t I would have had to interrupt whatever she was doing to ask for help being seen. At what point when you don’t so much as greet or look at the customer who needs your help do you expect them to inform you of a life event? I’ve seen many negative reviews about the reception staff at this clinic and I’ve never seen any better treatment to any customer when I am in there so I guess nothing will be done. But I do want to ward off anyone who wants to be treated kindly when waiting to see the vet. The vets here are good but you have to deal with a lot of negative, horrible attitudes before you get to see them, it is unfortunate.

Trenton animal clinic has just been wonderful! I brought my little Abby to them from out of town. She was already so so old! 18 years to be exact! They treated us with kindness and respect! When she had to cross the rainbow Bridge (19 years old!) they were so caring and compassionate!! 5 stars from me!

I am a reviews kind of person. I generally look at past reviews about a biz before I go there. Sorry to see that some people are not pleased with the front desk personel. My experience has always been positive here. I love taking my dogs here and feel the vets have my best interest and my pets vbest interest at heart. My pit bulls just love the ladys up front and they have always been accomidating to us. Sorry that others have felt they have had unsatisfactory service here. . May we all love each other and a special thank you to the trenton animal clinic to always making me and my dogs welcome.

Really like the way the staff was toward our fur baby. She is a rescue and has been through some obvious trauma. The Trenton Animal Clinic staff have been great with her. After we check in, we wait in our vehicle, and the staff will avoid taking her through the waiting area to alleviate causing her more stress. I really appreciate the way they are toward the animals.

Great care from the vet and techs. I would give 5 stars but the short haired blonde at the front desk is SO rude to everyone!! We sat in the waiting room for a good while waiting to be seen and she had so much attitude with every single person that walked in or checked out. Other people waiting were even talking about how rude she always is. It's surprising such a great place allows this type of person in a "customer service" position. I'm sure other places are hiring if she hates her job so bad.

I do not appreciate hearing that the receptionists wanted to yell at a baby honking the horn outside on a car simply because the mother was trying to keep him entertained. Also of you can't be professional and polite to clients waiting to see the vet YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC!. Waiting for over two hours to be seen and only one animal being seen is atrocious!!!

I give a 4 star only because the service they did for my cat was wonderful. No complaint! But the front staff, the two older ladies can be something else. They don’t have professional attitudes. You never know what kind of mood they are in and that leaves you on edge every time you go in. But as far as dr B. I definitely give a 5 star. He’s wonderful. You just gotta get past the two elders at front.

I have used this clinic for years and have never had anything but great experiences. All the staff are nice and courteous. We've had amputation surgery that couldn't have been better. We board our fur babies with them because I know not only will they be well taken care of but they get extra special attention from staff to make them feel more calm about being away from home. I would recommend them to anyone . You can relax and know your animals are in good hands.

I went in on my lunch hour to buy a flea treatment in March. One receptionist asked what I needed and I was asked to sign in (older miss was rude about it).I waited in the lobby with the other customers waiting to be seen by the vet. The receptionist was talking to another coworker about her weekend and life. I waited 15 minutes in the lobby when a different receptionist came out to ask if the older miss had helped me yet and I told her no. She apologized and immediately got the flea treatment. I think the owner should be aware of the type of people they have representing them. Are they being paid to help customers in a genuine way or to talk about personal matters. I really wish she was wearing a name tag to let you know who she was but from the looks of these negative reviews it sounds like you may already know who she is. It makes me wonder why you’re keeping her around but then again she does seem to be the type to be vindictive if you let her go. I hope she learns to change her attitude when she’s around customers. Good luck to the business.

Great place and staff. Dr. Jill actually gave us her number a few times when we were having issues with our cat. She came in early on the day our cat passed to aide and comfort us. We are forever grateful.

I have been to vets all over Chicago, Florida, Tennessee and I must say this place is one of the most affordable and knowledgeable places I've ever been to.. the staff is very friendly and I'm pleasantly surprised when my bill comes out to be very fare.... And surprisingly they're not afraid to throw in the little extras within reason of course but I love this place ❤️

Update: 4/25/23 the vet and vet techs are great. However, same rude customer service from the front desk staff worker.I just went in to pick up flea drops for my dogs. The woman at the front desk just looked at me and told me to sign in. She was kind of rude. She would not let me ask about getting any until i signed in. The she made me wait 10 minutes before calling me up there to even see what i needed. They are not the same as they were years ago.
