I'm so glad I decided to purchase my polywood outdoor glider from Townsend Mercantile! The quality of their products is outstanding and the customer service experience was exceptional. The polywood material is durable and weather-resistant, making it perfect for withstanding various elements. Townsend Mercantile has something for everyone and is in such a beautiful location! I personally found these comfy socks and a sticker designed by a local artist. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you are in Townsend, Tn you need to stop by.

Fantastic boutique and general store with a little something for tourist and locals alike. We have purchased everything from birthday gifts to furniture. We purchased some of their Polywood outdoor furniture and we are very happy with it. Townsend mercantile was very helpful in the selection and sale. Taking care to ensure we got exactly what we wanted and gave us tips on assembly. It was super easy to put together. Okay I rarely leave a review of a store but I rarely encounter a store owner who advises me that I might need something that they don’t sell but that might be better for me than what they do. That is exactly what happened to me today when I visited this store for the first time. Zach showed me this kind of old time hospitality and honesty. As a bonus they contribute to the rescue squad in the National Park which means a lot to me being someone who would not be here today were it not for them and the Air National Guard. I will definitely return to patronize this store whenever I need something they offer which is a high quality selection of merchandise with a local flare. Bravo, Nadi Gray, Walland, TN

Love this store! They have so many unique items that are great for gifts or to enjoy yourself. This store has something for everyone and for any budget. Compared to other boutiques in the area, the prices are very affordable. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming. They go to great lengths to make sure they serve their customers well! This store is a gem in Townsend and I'm so glad they are in our community!

I love this shop! It has the cutest items, great for gifts for others and also for myself. They have an awesome selection of UT accessories, patio furniture and decorative items! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My first time in there, I was already saying I couldn’t wait to come back. This is a fabulous addition to the Townsend community!!

Just wow! The best retail experience EVER! Adorable merchandise that makes a pleasure to shop! The owners have done a marvelous job taking an old building that has been empty for years and turned it in to a beautiful space. The prices are great, higher quality means higher prices and they have a great selection and variety for everyone. The clothing is on point for a stylish fashion pick up. Be sure when in Townsend take time to visit, shop, smile and take home the perfect treasure. Thank you Townsend Mercantile Co for making Townsend even better!

A great place to find unique gifts for others and something for yourself while you are there. I purchased one of my favorite shirts there along with earrings, purse, and various kitchen accessories. I highly recommend!

Townsend Merchantile & Co. is a new & beautiful store in a beautiful location. They have great quality items. It is a fabulous place to buy townsend merch souvenirs & gifts to take home of the area. I suggest the Townsend Ts, ornaments or magnets they have. They also have a few items that are made by local artists like coasters, glass ornaments & candles for example. They also have boutique items, a cute section for kids with games, stuffed animals, puzzles and toys. They also have a nice area outside for socializing. They do have a small candy section which does include blast from the past candy that's hard to find. It was good nastalgia candy, and some chilled drinks. The girls working in the store was very nice and welcoming she was very good to help and assist and they are very sweet. The atmosphere in the store was great with a warm welcome.The ONLY downside is that this store I had was that it was extreamly pricey on thier items.I have shopped many stores in the smokies and I say with confidence that you can find some of the same artists items in other stores nearby such as wears valley for example for much much much cheaper and more affordable than this location. Most all items can even be purchased in other locations along the strip for a lower price. The only items I saw in this store that you cannot find elsewhere cheaper in the area is the Townsend apparel which I believe was made specifically for them. Don't let the price tag deter you from making the stop because the Townsend Shirts and townsend merch alone are worth the stop, so if your on a budget that's what I would buy.I probably will not shop here again unless they lower thier prices. I got my Townsend Ts and magnet. Unfortunately this shop was pretty much a 1 stop shop and done for me simply because of thier prices. They are just so very expensive.Lots of people read my reviews and I'm sorry guys but my reviews are always honest. So I wouldn't recommend your shop to others due to your pricing unless they were looking for Townsend merch specifically. I hope you rethink your prices you would get so much more foot traffic in your store if you did.
