This coffee shop and in-house roasters are amazing!! I love the coffee!! It's the smoothest-tasting coffee I have ever had!! The staff is the sweetest!! It's nestled in the cozy place called Townsend Tennessee!! In the beautiful smokies! Love the friendly atmosphere! Got to hear great acoustics! Come check out this place..relax and enjoy!!☕️Kid-friendliness: They make a great frozen hot chocolate..among other great drinks!!

Love this cozy little coffee shop in the heart of Townsend Tn. They order their beans from several different countries and roast them in house! The story about this stay at home mom who created her own business is simply inspiring. The coffee is wonderful! Very inviting shop with cozy couches. Always a must do in Townsend!

The Artistic Bean traveled on the road today to my work. I have never had anything from here before so I was a little hesitant. I told them what I liked and couldn't have and they had an immediate suggestion. It was the Mountain Man, decaf, with no cinnamon. It was amazing. I am so thankful that they listened and knew just what to suggest. Thank you!

A cute quaint little place. Unexpected in Townsend TN, which is small, but the Artistic Bean brings big city style and flavor to life. Wonderful and friendly staff make you feel at home at the Same time have incredible knowledge as they roast their own beans. They even have online ordering to ship anywhere. A definite must stop if your in the area. Tasty treats too. They even give a military discount. I am sure I will make it back here.

I enjoyed my visit. I've had coffee all over the world, and this shop is in my top 5. Lots of selection, customization, and attention to detail. They roast on site with a duo of roasters and their own roasting formulas. I tried a simple cold brew and couldn't be happier. I also tried a mountain mama and really enjoyed the mountain twist!

I absolutely love this coffee shop. The staff are friendly and the owners are phenomenal. They recently started serving lunch which was a perfect addition. I highly recommend stopping in for coffee, a muffin or soup. It is all great!Parking: There is ample parking.Kid-friendliness: We took our kids both times. They loved the hot chocolate and muffins.

My husband and I visited this week and brought our laptops to work. Expect them to be roasting and bagging during business hours. It was loud and disruptive.About 45 minutes later, an employee came in to work and the employees cranked Spotify over their system and blasted a song for her birthday. They started popping streamers, etc. I get wanting to celebrate your team, but this was very disruptive and disrespectful to the several people in the store working at their computers.Finally, we packed our bags to leave. As we passed the counter, the employees laughingly yelled to each other "look, you're running off the customers!!!!"We will not be back. I can't recommend if you're looking for personal service or good coffee.

Just in town for a little getaway since we had the day off for Veterans Day. The coffee was tasty, the decor beautiful, but a little too much for the space. The barista was not quite friendly enough and a little overwhelming with her coffee information. A bit overpriced, 2 small lattes $11.

Oh my goodness - the BEST coffee we've ever had! Yes, we are coffee snobs purchasing fresh roasted coffee at local farmers markets. I can not say enough about how much we enjoyed their latte. They roast their own organic coffee, use a pull lever espresso machine which makes the best coffee. They also have very tasty muffins. The staff were very friendly and loved talking about their coffee. Our son-in-law purchased a berry tea and he loved the tea. They have calming music playing and nice places to sit and enjoy your coffee/tea. We stayed 4 nights in Towsend and we were at the Artistic Bean 3 times. Wish we could have taken this place home with us!

We visit the Smoky Mountains (or try to) as a big family event each year and The Artistic Bean is always on our list of places to stop. Depending on what we are doing, sometimes we "just" stock up on a few bags of coffee to take home, but if we have time (which usually means we didn't lose track of it and get there just before it closes) we enjoy ordering cups to go. There's been the rare trip we've not made it to the shop. Those occasions are always disappointing. The inside atmosphere is great and I'd probably be a poor man indeed if I lived local and be a regular customer of their excellent coffee.

This is my first time to Townsend, coming with my husband & his family. They’ve been talking about this place since we got here. I was pleasantly impressed with the environment, the employees, and the coffee. This trip is a yearly thing for them, and now me, and I’ll make sure to come back whenever I’m here. ❤️ the lady who helped up, I think her name was Chloe(?), if that’s wrong I’m sorry, but I remember she was the Hufflepuff 💛 , she was very sweet & friendly!

Outstanding little coffee shop. One of the perks for me is that it is located next to the local laundromat. Great coffee, free refills! I had one of their banana nut muffins and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. Lady behind the counter seemed very friendly. Highly recommend this place to spend some time at.

We went to other *cough* coffee place that will remain nameless and the moment I walked in, I knew I couldn't order coffee. My daughter ordered a latte and immediately regretted it. Thankfully we stopped by Jake's on the River who sent us to THIS PLACE. You saved my entire week's vacation. We've been here THREE times and I even ordered a bag of beans to go. Yup, I took a bag home with me all way to Texas. This place rocks! This place KNOWS their beans!!!!! No buts about it! This place is the place to be. Coffee tastes perfect, lattes are made perfectly. I love the place, it is a kick back chill place to be. Since vacation in August, I've ordered two more bags online. Yes! It's that good!

This is a really nice little coffee shop that is always quiet, provides great service and very good coffee/drinks!One year update: still fabulous service, quality coffee, perfect atmosphere! They occasionally have live music on top of all that. One of our favorite spots in the area.

My husband just went in there this morning snd we were so looking forward to some coffee and read amazing reviews. It was super busy with a long wait, which I understand but once he got our coffees and muffins the tray she gave him collapsed (not his fault at all) and went all over him and our vehicle so he politely walked back in there with the bent tray and spilled coffee everywhere where and asked if she would make us two more. We ordered the two largest flavored iced lattes and the lady said he would have to pay AGAIN after ALL of that waiting and spillage and waiting again to get to the front. Absolutely so wrong of them and bad customer service. He ended up paying again and it came it $38 something just for our coffee and muffins because we were so tired and needed coffee to function. We’re here for a few nights and won’t be going back unless they make this right.Update: The managers made it right and are great people. Went back all three days and was delish every time. Highly recommend and will be back when we’re in the area!
