We stayed in the Golden Bear cabin after Christmas and through New Years day. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had fantastic views. This cabin was loaded with everything we needed (especially the kitchen). From the time we booked to the time we left, the service provided by the staff was amazing. We ventured out to the pub a few times and enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service as well. I highly recommend Dogwood cabins and we will definitely be back!!

The team at Dogwood Cabins are great at what they do! I had booked one of thier places on VRBO on a Saturday, and recieved a phone call Monday morning informing me it had been double booked on another site before my booking. My heart sank temporarily hearing that news, because we booked a little over a week before arrival and there really wasnt a lot available for our budget on VRBO. However, the nice lady with the sweetest accent (Jennifer, i think) made it all better immediately when she told me she had another house with the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms as well as being on the river just like the house we booked that we could use instead. She directed me to the website and gave me the name of the house and walked me through how to pull it up on thier site while on the phone. I agreed that would be a perfect solution and at no extra charge. Their customer service is amazing!!! Upon arrival we discovered the house had a hottub on the back porch and the originally booked house did not 😎. We stayed in the River Cottage. It's on the main road through Townsend but sits back pretty far and is right on the river. Due to the location you can walk to many local places to shop, eat, drink alcohol, and rent utvs. This place had everything we needed to be comfortable and relax. We had fun grilling out, drinking coffee, and enjoying the hot on the back porch. The house was clean and had everything we needed and more. It is a little dated but still charming. Highly recommend just calling and telling them what your looking for in a vacation rental and your budget. They have so many places available, and know the area so well that they would help make all your vacation dreams come true. To the Dogwood Cabins staff, thank you so much for taking good care of us and keep up the good work!Nearby activities: River cottage is less than 1 mile to the National park. Short walk or drive to food, shopping, distillery, and utv rental. 30 minute drive to pigeon forge or gatlinburgh. 1 hour to Cherokee NC. 15 minutes to the foothills parkway.

Had an issue with our cabin and they were quick to to place us in another one! Loved it so much we’re going to rent it again!! Very friendly and helpful!!Thanks to Dogwood Cabin Rentals!!Also we loved being able to get into the river but do wish the owner would make it easier to get in. It was difficult for us older ladies to get in and out. Other than that it’s great!

We are so happy we found Dogwood Cabins! We have been visiting the Smokies for over 20 years, and had previously always stayed in Gatlinburg. After the fire (and our favorite rental burned), we decided to give Townsend a try. Dogwood Cabins has a large selection of rentals in a variety of settings, and we have found our new favorite in His Morning Glory. It is beautiful, has a great view, and is very clean. We are very comfortable there! We have found Dogwood Cabins to be reasonably priced, professional, and responsive. Jennifer is so friendly and helpful!

Dogwood cabins are beautifully located, I’ve stayed in several of their cabins and enjoyed every experience with my family, and many other family members have stayed in as well! Staff is super friendly! Cabins are always extremely clean, well equipped with linens and anything you could probably think of using, if you’re looking to stay, I would highly recommend dogwood!

My wife and two grown sons stayed in the Wild Laurel Lodge over a four day Thanksgiving stay. We found the cabin to be the most well equipped and stocked rental unit we have used anywhere. We were blessed with great weather for our stay. We played golf at Wild Laurel Golf Course on Saturday with great pleasure. I particularly enjoyed a soak in the Jacuzzi on the deck after the round. The kitchen was wonderful, large and so well equipped that we were able to fix and experiment with great meals for the whole weekend.

We have stayed at two cabins in Laurel Valley (Townsend, TN) that are managed by Dogwood cabins. Both experiences were excellent, easy check in and check out, clean cabins. Our favorite cabin so far is His Morning Glory. It is nicely updated with a beautiful covered porch and outdoor fireplace. I would highly recommend staying there, and we will be back again.

We visit the Smokey Mountains often and have had our best experience booking through Dogwood Cabins! The staff was friendly at check in, knowledgeable about the area and genuine when listening to us talk about how excited we were to be there. The cabin was exactly as described and had ample space for our family. We will definitely be staying with Dogwood again!

Absolutely loved Peaceful Path! Walked in and immediately decided to book it again for next summer. Had just about everything we needed, except could have used a few more garbage bags and dish tabs (I am a neat freak). The vacuum provided didnt work as well as I hoped, but the broom was nice so I was still able to sweep every night! Staff was responsive on the vrbo app and answered my questions before our trip. Enjoyed the quiet environment while still being close enough to town for groceries. I am looking forward to my next stay!

Just checked into Peaceful Path Cabin. The road coming in and out is too narrow. We were excited to walk the path down to the creek and relax on the bench. Huge disappointment. The trail is a narrow path through the woods and is covered with poison oak and poison ivy. We are highly allergic to it and we went all the way to the creek and didn’t see any bench to sit and relax on. Once you get to the foot bridge you have to turn around because there’s a tree down and the field is nothing but tall grass that hasn’t been mowed. We’ve been staying at Dogwood Cabins for years and have always enjoyed our stay but this was a big letdown. Do not rent Peaceful Path if you’re looking for a place to walk a peaceful path!!

Our family is still talking about the terrific experiences we had while visiting the mountains. Our cabin we rented was absolutely beautiful! We have stayed with Dogwood Cabin Rentals three times now. I have always been very pleased with the cabins they rent out. This time when we stayed, we stayed in the “Happy Camper” cabin. We booked this cabin this time because when we stayed there in the spring, we saw a bear and was hoping to see it again. However, this time we were not so lucky. When we left on Saturday, we checked everything and everywhere (so I thought” to make sure we did not leave anything. Keep in mind, they even had someone check in the next day. Unto my knowledge though, my wallet was left at the cabin. When I got home 12 hours later and the next day I realized it had gotten left. I remembered the paper work saying to make sure we checked the cabin to make sure we didn’t leave anything because they were not responsible if we did. I called the office and they sent someone to check the cabin where I knew I had it laying. I guess my husband or I put it in the drawer. They got it and mailed it to me. Keep in mind, this was on Monday and by Wednesday I had my wallet. I want to thank the staff @ Dogwood Cabin Rentals for everything they did to assure I got my wallet. I recommend them to anyone.

We stayed in the River Cottage and loved it! The full house-length covered-back-porch facing the river was beautiful, meditative, and serene! Canadian geese would fly in and land on the river and the Cottage had floats for that you could throw in and float downstream right from the Cottage. The jacuzzi on the porch was awesome to retreat to after a full day of activities! The jacuzzi stayed very hot just the way we like it, but the thermostat worked perfectly and lower temps worked well, too! The large kitchen and dining areas were great for our family! We recommend it highly! Our son enjoyed the large screen TV in the living room for gaming! A great time was had by All!

First off, I absolutely love the cabin we are staying in, Hibernation Station. I love the feel of it, the location, and all that it has to offer. The twin fold out couch at the end of the bed was perfect for my eight year old since it was an unfamiliar place, you wanted to be close. The tub is absolutely amazing and has a water heater that’s equivalent to the size of the tub, my daughter thought the fire place was the bees knees and I will definitely be back. I do have one minor complaint, the windows above the front door allow the neighbors to see straight into the loft and well, they probably seen more of me than I wanted them to. I would simply suggest some sort of adjustable curtains bc the natural light is awesome.

We stay at several cabins throughout the year and this was our favorite cabin we have EVER stayed at. Ever. The ladies in the office were beyond kind and helpful and the cabin was perfect. We stayed in Peaceful Path, just the most beautiful cabin tucked away in the woods. Location was perfect for us it has a nice and long walking path through the woods and the best fire-pit. Will definitely be staying there again!

We have used Dogwood Cabins for several years now. We find the cabins we rent in Laurel Valley to be nicely stocked, clean and as represented online. We just got back from a vacation last week, when I got there I realized I made a mistake on the night we wanted to leave. I made contact with office and it was no problem to extend the stay another night since it was not reserved by anyone else until the weekend. Plan on continuing to use them on future visits.

We got married in the Smoky Mountains and stayed here. The view is amazing and the hot tub is well maintained. First I will address the other reviewers complaints on cleanliness. The cabin is very clean where it matters most - dishes, clean sheets, counters, bathrooms, clean fresh kitchen and bath towels - and we are the outdoors type so this is like upscale camping and perfect for us. I would never keep my house this way though - about a half inch of dust on the ceiling fans, floors are pretty dirty in the corners and crevices. It's clean -, but it's not hotel clean. They also don't vacuum or sweep under the beds or couches. I saw a chip and a lot of dust underneath. We stayed in Elk Summit. My friends stayed in Soaring Eagle and it seemed a bit cleaner, so it could just be that they people before us were messier.But really, do not let that deter you. It is sooo pretty. And it is a cabin in the woods, this is not a luxury hotel, so if you are looking for something posh and you're not out here to hike and live as much in the outdoors as possible, get a hotel instead. But if you want a beautiful view of the Smokies, a clean shower, a clean place to cook your meals, a fun and super clean hot tub, plenty of firewood and a gorgeous fireplace, you will be happy.

Laurel Haven was beautifully decorated definetly recommend we enjoyed everything about it. We had plenty of room but the sofa bed downstairs took a lot of work to fold out & then the mattress was very thin & springy once out so my son folded it back up to sleep just on couch like normal. The Master was really nice but the bed was not as sturdy as it looked it could use a new mattress. Loved the back screened in porch & location.

I don’t like leaving a bad review and it took a week to mull over leaving this however I’d been reading/checking reviews on this place daily for help to make sure we were good on our choice, that said I’m just trying to give insight for future guests. Cabin is in need of repairs to say the least! The bed was propped up in the middle (which was sinking) with cut 2x4’s-not kidding! The entire cabin had to be cleaned front to back we put sheets over the couches. The face of the dishwasher was missing…just metal. If you use washer/dryer you’re braver than I am! Grill had stuck on food that took a ton of time to burn off and we still opted not to use.The pictures/description had this cabin more remote than it really is there’s 2 cabins on one side and an rv park (thats an open field in the pictures) on the other sharing our driveway. I did take pictures but I think the description will suffice and I do realize these are rentals but WOW! We’ve rented cabins for years and this was heartbreaking, we took a chance on a new company. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Had we known all this we’d have gone elsewhere. If given a ton of TLC this could be turned around and be okay. I hope this will be of help for future customers…we stayed in Willow Creek.

We had a two day Valentine's Day Weekend trip. We stayed in The Hideout. Everything was clean. It would not be a good cabin for a long stay due to no washer or dryer, but for a few days away, it would be great.The view is a hill from the adjoining farm, so it makes a pretty morning view from the swing.My only complaint/ concern was the steep driveway. It was semi paved with a gravel covering. Us and the neighboring cabin shared the driveway, and it was difficult to get up for us and them. We drive Durango, and they had a Charger and another truck. You had to gun it to get up it, and due to stone and gravel it was bumpy ride for a minute or two. If it snowed or iced, you would be stranded for sure.Other than that, the place was great!
