Absolutely amazing location and staff! The view is breathtaking, their response time it quick and they are extremely professional. We stayed in the octagon suit which was super cozy and clean. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax as well. We decided to do the horse back riding last minute and they were quick to get us on a ride. Nicole was absolutely amazing, so sweet, and laidback. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

My family and I stayed in the Upper Threshold Suite inside the lodge. The rooms were very well appointed and well cared for. I enjoyed sitting on the balcony attached to our suite for an hour or so every morning we were there. The owner, April, was the embodiment of Tennessee hospitality.Nearby activities: Country Manor Acres is very close to Tuckaleechee Caverns and close to Cade's Cove, as well as a short drive from Great Smoky Mountains National Park if you have time.Safety: Leaving food and drinks inside vehicles may attract bears. Better to bring it inside the lodge.Noteworthy details: The owner does live on the property so please be respectful of that.

Country Manor Acres also has a stable where you can go on a private guided tour ride. We took out Annabelle and Katie and had an amazing time. It's a family run farm with knowledgeable guides. The animals are all very well cared for and a majority of the horses are rescued! 10/10 recommend.Nearby activities: Stables at Country Manor Acres

Booked horseback riding as part of our trip, it was something just my man and I did and left the teens back at the Airbnb. I had already read reviews online and on Airbnb and knew this would be an Unforgettable experience and it was! This was the most peaceful and amazing highlight of our vacation. We rode Katie and Annabelle. Loved that we got to bond with them before riding. Loved that we were greeted by the cat, dog, and rooster! The property was just amazing - trails offered ups and downs, pond view and…most importantly…the mountain views. Taking in the scenery while on horseback was just serene and once in a lifetime. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Katie was a cuddle bug and likes her butt rubbed.Tip: if you’re coming in from Sevierville and head through town through Wears Valley…past the food trucks less than a mile on the right hand side is a gas station (forget the name sorry) buts it’s a tiny little whole in the wall and they were making FRESH breakfast sandwiches that were also out of this world good…the coffee wasn’t all that bad either it was a pleasant surprise!

Our private horseback ride with Nicole was the highlight of our trip to the Smoky Mountains! I rode a rescue horse that was so well behaved and it was apparent all the horses received so much love. My wife is new to riding and through Nicole's instruction, she was even trotting by the end of the ride. As an experienced rider, it was also an unreal memory with the breathtaking scenery and riding through a pond. The views along the ride were absolutely stunning. I just returned from a 7 month military deployment so my wife and I were looking for a special date to celebrate being home and this was the perfect spot. Highly recommend!

We had the best time staying here with our kids over spring break! The view, the land, the horses, the hospitality was so much more than we could have hoped for. We have taken many family trips and this was proclaimed “best vacation ever” by our kids. We will be back!

Our stay in Townsend was something special. One of the memorable highlights was our private horseback tour with Jeff. The facility is a well run and intimate operation. Jeff and Nichole keep up their property with care and it shows, with stunning views and gorgeous pastures. Jeff was willing to keep us out regardless of the rain , and it made a most memorable experience for our family. They have a perfect group of horses and can accommodate every level of rider. I highly recommend this outfitter and family owned and operated business. The Polk Family....AmyGeorgeWesley & Emerson

Heaven on earth! The farm was so beautiful that I didn't want to leave to go to the park each day! And I woke up every morning to the sounds of roosters crowing and turkeys gobbling. Townsend was the perfect location for our Smoky Mountain vacation. Not only we were 2 miles from the park entrance, the town of Townsend had everything we needed and wanted, without the crowds.Rooms: The rooms were cozy and quaint. Cooked all of our dinners in our room every night.Nearby activities: Hiking, Great Smoky Mountains National Park (2 miles), Cade's Cove historic drive through valley, Foothills Parkway & Dragon's Tail, horseback riding, Tuckaleechee Caverns, biking, tubing, museums, close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, even drove to the North Carolina side of the park one day and saw elk.Noteworthy details: The owners were very attentive and even helped us put together a route for a scenic drive one day. The views on the farm were STUNNING and I felt like I was in a painting. I woke up every morning to the sounds of roosters crowing and turkeys gobbling. And every morning there were turkeys outside my window. (Spring)

We stayed here at the cabin for 5 days with a group of 4 adults. We loved the peaceful and tranquil setting. It is a beautiful working farm. Our rooms were private and there is handicap access to main cabin floor. However not to upper floors. Rooms were clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We had beautiful sprawling views of the Great Smoky Mountains as well as the farm. Our rooms came with one bathroom to share for two couples as well as small kitchenette that had a refrigerator, microwave and sink for washing dishes. There was a coffee pot too. There is NO stove or oven, however there is a electric skillet. We would highly recommend staying here! It’s a perfect atmosphere after spending a day with crowds of people after shopping in Gatlinburg and or Pigeon Forge. They’re are many restaurants nearby. Easy access to main roads as well as GSMP! Beware of the bears here. We had one literally get into our car looking for food. The bear did no damage but did leave the doors wide open and muddy paw prints inside car!

Wonderful experience. We stayed in the Octogon Suite for a few days - can't beat the view, and it was very comfortable inside. The private deck with a grill and hot tub were an awesome bonus. We also were able to go horseback riding on the property, which will be a favorite memory from this vacation. Would definitely come back, 10/10.

We stayed at the Hayloft. Family reunion had many coming and going. Lots of room. Great grounds to explore. Spent a night at the well lit fire pit. Dog, cat, horses all around in day time.Final night's sunset treat were the horse herd coming in from pasture running down the driveway to the stables. It was worth the drive from TX. Thank you

We loved our stay here at Country Manor Acres. We live locally but wanted to get away for a few days. We wanted a place that was pet friendly, with a view and they more than delivered. Everything was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were even able to take our almost 2 year old daughter on a horse back ride. Jeff was very accommodating with everything and we will most definitely return again!!

My wife and I spent a few days at Country Manor Acres to celebrate her birthday. It was wonderful. We enjoyed a private horseback riding session which I highly suggest for the experienced or unexperienced rider. The Morning Side Suite we had was everything you would want in a private getaway that is not too far out of the way. Townsend is an enjoyable, quite, relaxing vacation/staycation destination.

Our family of 5 adults recently lodged here at CMA. This was one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in while vacationing in TN. The spectacular mountainous views surrounding the property is just incredible!!!! Horseback riding on the trails was so enjoyable. Would highly recommend CMA to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Jeff and Nicole were so friendly & such fantastic hosts.

Jeff and Nicole are heads down THE BEST people there are. Between their land, their hospitality, their horses—everything. My boyfriend booked with them last minute for a 7:30 AM ride—we fell in love! Then he reached back out to Jeff that afternoon and he was able to get us squeezed in the next day for another right for my boyfriend to PROPOSE! Just over all, the best hospitality we could have ever asked for. Will forever be staying here anytime we come down to Tennessee.

We stayed at the VRBO which is run by a lovely family. The accommodations are pleasant, and the view and experience of being on a horse farm are amazing. We lived watching the horses in the fields, feeding them horses, and going for a private ride. Wonderful experience!

We enjoyed a great weekend getaway to the smoky mountains and stayed here for the trip. The morning view with a cup of coffee was a great way to start the day!! Just an incredible sunrise view overlooking the property from the balcony.

5 stars doesnt cover it, we LOVED our stay here. Driving from michigan to Tennessee took us most of a day and when we realized we would be arriving past 8p we called the listed number, Jeff assured us it wouldnt be any problem, making the start of our vacation so much less stressful than rushing to meet a cut off time. Upon arriving we were met with picturesque views and the home feeling of our suite, the octagon suite is beautiful and fully functional, and the balconey is a treasure in and of itself. On sunny days you can relax and grill, at night you can use the hot tub and relax in the soft lighting, but be sure to make use of the swinging benches when it rains because that dry cozy area gives you the perfect place to watch the fog roll in over the trees and mountains. The location is tucked perfectly nearby enough stores to never run out of anything, and also nearby some very interesting attractions. As you drive up, stop and see the horses, they are sweet and gentle and so happy to see anyone, if you park and walk up to the pasture they all know to come up to the gate and see who has the treats😉 the driveway is a perfect loop for access from either side, and so you can catch the views of the wildflowers and rolling green pasture. The owners do a lot of hard work to keep this place beautiful and they do it with such humility and love it is a sight to behold. I would very highly recommend this as a place to stay for a week or a weekend, for family or couple. They hold wedding events here and the property is set up perfectly for it, having many ceremony locations framed by different parts of the 52 acres, where they have put careful time and planning to incorporate new technology like drone photography and to avoid the annoying things tripping over cords, generator hum, and ruckus that parking creates at a large function. Time, effort, and love has been put into every inch of this place and it shows!

We loved staying at Country Manor Acres! Our room had a beautiful view and outside of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. The room had a washer/dryer in it and extra amenities. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

If I could give April and Jeff 10 out of 5 stars I would! They helped my husband and I create the wedding of our dreams! We live in North Carolina which we thought would be difficult to plan an out of state wedding. April was quick to answer our calls and emails for the questions we had! The price of the venue is justifiable due to all that she helps with and her son does as well! The wedding ran smoothly and was amazing! I STRONGLY recommend This for any wedding venue! The view is incredible, the hospitality is outstanding and the willingness to help create a perfect wedding are some of the reasons to have that big day at Country Manor Acres!
