The first thing to remember is that 4 & 5 star hotels cost more than $60 per night. The room was very comfortable - I usually get sore from hotel beds, but mine was quite comfortable. Overall, the room was clean and pleasant. My gripe is that there was mildew in the shower curtain and paint above the shower. The tip envelope by the TV wasn't super classy, either. Even so, I had a pleasant experience.

Basically a homeless camp for the homeless and un-sheltered in lake and obion counties. They may put wreaths on the door during the arts and crafts annually but other than that extended weekend, the place serves to house local homeless individuals. We had friends in visiting from Wisconsin and I was literally scared that they would be robbed, jumped, infringed upon in someway but i guess thats what big guns and vicious dogs will prevent. No place for those traveling like multimillion dollar rigs and vehicles. It is located across from one of the state park landings which is unfortunate.

Our group has been going staying at the Reelfoot Inn for several years. Same weekend every year. This year the person answering the phone said the reservations made last year are not being honored that we need to call 2-3 weeks in advance and make a new reservation. Several from our group has called and each was given a different daily rate. Sosad to ruin an even that makes money for this small town. Many are nowsaying they won't go. Shame on on you Reelfoot Inn.

This WAS a nice motel.Not anymore.Now it's a a stripped-down crackhead room, run by East Indian motel mafia.Both the bathroom and front doors were broken, probably by cops or worse.No chain. Half of it was missing as eight old screw holes attested to.Sleep with one eye open....Rooms: Prisoners have more ammemnities.Real basic. Bath towels for midgets.Basic Cable. One ply TP.No fridge, blow dryer, bare walls, ETC.No bed bugs, though.I guess THAT is a plus.Safety: Scary, as the room was broken into several times before.

Exceptionally quiet, no frills, everything is in good functional condition, and most importantly, the couple managing the place genuinely cares about making sure we were happy and had everything we needed. It is not luxury, but having driven the whole town, we found it above par for the area. I would definitely stay again. Things to note, the pool was closed for the season & coin op laundry is no longer available. There is a Subway at the local grocery store & other restaurants within 2 miles of the Inn.

Staff was ok. Room not great, somewhat run down, fridge barely got cold, no door latch, only a very worn and flimsy door knob set (which thankfully did lock), paint peeling, hole in wall by entrance door, fiberglass tub has been very poorly patched (BTW, how does a hole get knocked in a tub?). Room was fairly quiet though could definitely hear people getting ready to leave for work about 5AM. Unfortunately, this is only budget lodging in this area, all other options are much higher priced resorts.

Word of advice .... DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ... ROOMS ARE FILTHY... BLACK MOLD .... DINGY SHEETS .... BED BUGS ... THIEVIN HOUSEKEEPING HAD MUTIPLE ITEMS DISAPPEAR DURING THE FIVE MONTHS I STAYED THERE .... THE MAN IS REALLY NICE AND CARING HELPFUL GENEROUS PERSON ... HIS WIFE IS NOT ... FUSSED OVER THE HELP GIVING ME FOUR TOWELS FOR A WEEK???!!! SMH EXPENSIVE VERY EXPENSIVE SNOW ACTUALLY CAME INTO LY ROOM... 94$A DAY AND HAD TO PUT FREAKING CARDBOARD IN THE CRACKS IN THE DOOR FROM TOP TO BOTTOM I BOUGHT FROZE TO DEATH WHEN I GOT DOWN IN THE LOW TEENS AND BELOW ZERO THEY DO NOT HAVE COMPLEMENTARY ANYTHING THEY DONT HAVE AN ICE MACHINE. BUT THEY HAVE A DEP FREEZER FILKED WITH BAGS OF ICE FOR ABOUT FIVE HUCKS CAN COKES IN A MACHINE OUTSIDE WILL NOT TAKE CJANGE ONLY DOKLAR BILLS AND THEY ARE TWO BUCKS PROLLY TWO FIFTY BY NOW ITS BEEN EXACTLY A YR GO TO BOYETTES MOTEL BESIDE THE RESTAURANT SHES MY FAMILY AND I GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE IN A CLEAN QUIET FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT GREAT STAFF AND THE OWNER IS MY FAMILY SHES A ONE OF A KIND GREAT SOUVENIR DHOP /OFGICE SHE ALSO DOES EMBROIDERY ETC CHECK IT OUT AND SKIP REELFOOT INN 💯🎯

I usually stay here when I travel home. I was a bit iffy because 3 years ago the rooms we had were not on the cleanest side. You can tell the hotel has made a lot of changes in the right direction since then. Cleaner rooms, friendly staff!! The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and that was literally the only thing wrong with my room. I’d be more than happy to stay again!

I hope some of the pictures of rooms are actually from a renovation and this place is in better condition as when we stayed there was mold all over bathroom, coffee pots were corroded over, mattresses stacked on floor in room. Yes pics of coffee pots and mattresses are in with pics on this profile. Was pretty disgusting. Will check it out and see if those nice looking rooms are the real thing.

I stayed here with my family a couple of years ago, we drove a very long way and we were tired when we got here. The room was fresh and clean, all of our toiletries were fresh and new, and we hung our do not disturb sign on the door knob and literally fell into bed and the bed and pillows were so comfortable! Price was great! I'm gonna tell everyone i know to stay here when they need a room is this area 😊

I enjoyed the view of the Reelfoot Lake at this location. I wish the prices where a little cheaper for 1 person. But not bad pricing for a big room with 2 beds. Would be nice if they offered breakfast. The bathroom could use a better clean up. And wish the beds were more comfortable but overall the prices aren’t bad being its by the lake.

Yes I actually stayed there with my two boys. I told my wife, she would not be permitted to stay there. I didn’t want to say “you get what you pay for”; but in this case very true.Coffee pot in the room with no coffee.Found an old banana on the floor between the wall and the chair.Dead spider on the floor when we walked in.Little to no TV reception.My son actually cleaned the pool out himself before we jumped in for awhile.But it was a place to stay across from the lake, with a nice shower.Consider charging a little bit more each night and then do a quality control check on each room before it is rented out. Also a few amenities go a long way for a weekend getaway.
