Service was great (thank you Debbie) and the mini-burger was huge. Please note they have 1 pound and 2 pound Burgers. I am glad Debbie pointed that out and I ordered the huge mini-cheeseburger (including fries) for $5.99!!! The burger was good even though I forgot to ask for medium or medium rare. It comes well done and it was good nonetheless. I had never heard of Vinegar Pie but I could not skip trying it. It was like a mild lemon pie... They also have other pies like rhubarb!! And the view is beautiful. If it is not too cold to sit outside, it is breathtaking.

$+ Food was absolutely great, portions are KRAZY big. Atmosphere is very roadside diner. Speaking of which, Do Not miss the view from the parking lot. Its very nice.We went on 1st Friday with a new band playing so it was quite busy. Due to our getting a brand new waitress who was obviously completely overwhelmed, our service was not stellar. Am I going to go back? ABSOLUTELY. The food, the view and the music alone were what we went there for, service gliches are inevitable.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.If this review is helpful, please give me a thumbs up. Thanks.

Went to check this place out with my husband and in-laws. What a treat this place is! We went when it was dark so we weren't able to check out the views but we definitely going back. When you walk in, it's seat yourself. All the employees were so kind and stopped by our table several times to check-in and chat. Very rarely do I go to a restaurant where everything I had was delicious. The rhubarb pie was to die for! The portions are incredibly generous for what you pay for. We were surprised with how much food we got. The waitress even brought us extra fries just because. We went on a Friday night and there was live music. The locals were also very kind and chatty. 10/10 recommend

What a wonderful surprise. Friend and I just happened upon this place. Definitely bring your appetite. Your still going to need a take home box. Brandy was our server. Fantastic. Service was excellent really on top of things. Definitely will come back. Worth the drive and the view off of the mountain side breathtaking. Keep up the great work. Well done.

Clinch Mountain ⛰️ Bakery & Restaurant also has 4 cabins atop Clinch Mountain that has million dollar views. Not just a five-star, but these cabins have billions of stars. Each cabin has a theme, so ask for the one you feel comfortable with... Honeymoon,Harley, etc.You can just walk across the street for meals at the restaurant and bakery. Views from the restaurant are exceptional, but the cabin is excellent. A Friendly and home like atmosphere where you must try the Famous Vinegar Pie 🥧 😋 at the restaurant. There is a gift 🎁 shop too, if you need a t-shirt for your collection.** Save room for dessert **Thanksgiving Buffet was Excellent!AND You got to try their BIG CHEESEBURGER 🍔 and FRENCH FRIES 🍟 ...** IT WAS A WOW!! **What a MEAL !!!How do they do that??The banana 🍌 pudding is to just dive into dessert 🍨

Want to make a memory? I was around 4 or 5 years old the first time I ate here. For the next 15 years, when the family vacationed at Cherokee Lake, we would go to the top off Clinch Mountain and eat and have a piece of vinegar pie. I happened to be staying in Gatlinburg and wanted to take a trip down memory lane to the places I stayed when at the lake. I then decided to go on to the top of clinch mountain and have me a piece of vinegar pie! We had the lunch buffet that they had set up and also got the fried green tomatoes. If you want to start a memory or relive one, definitely stop here and get the fried green tomatoes and a big slice of vinegar pie! You can also enjoy a beautiful view from their parking lot. You won't regret it! It's like stepping into the past and enjoying a piece of Americana.

I was going to give this restaurant 4 stars, but I truly believe the view is worth a star on its own, so 5 stars it is. The scenic view is breathtaking when you pull up to park. The restaurant is diner-like & a multitude of desserts are displayed in cases when you walk in the door. There was some of the usual fare like pecan pie & fruit cobblers, but there were also handmade mini eclairs & candy cobblers including Kit Kat, Twix, Butterfinger & more. The restaurant was clean & I appreciated the large glass windows. We opted to create our own appetizer sampler with fried green tomatoes, fried pickles & fried ravioli. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely phenomenal: light, crispy batter on perfectly cooked, flavorful, green tomatoes. I usually prefer fried pickle spears & they had pickle chips instead, but again, super delicious & fried just right! The fried ravioli were quite bland. Our server was new & didn't realize marinara was supposed to be served with them. I asked if they had marinara & our server brought it out - ice cold! I definitely would not recommend the ravioli. I opted for the French Dip sandwich which came with fries. There was an abundance of meat & the au jus was warm & tasty. I wish there had been more cheese & that the bun had been lightly toasted. My fingers stuck to/in the crust of the bread & if it were toasted, I feel that would not have been the case. The fries were terrific!! They were hot, crispy, well salted & fried to perfection. One of our group ordered the 2 patty burger. We were all amused at his reaction when it arrived - it was obviously much more than he expected! He did say it was really good & quite a bargain. I purchased a piece of peach cobbler & a piece of peanut butter cobbler to go. We tried them later that evening. I was not a fan of the peach because it had very little fruit. I like at least a 50/50 split between fruit & 'cake'. The peanut butter was amazing!! Even though the layer of peanut butter appeared quite thin, it was definitely adequate & the taste was spectacular! I will return to this restaurant!!

So first things first.. never EVER go here on Sunday after 2 PM. It’s pointless and trust me.. you’re just bothering these people at this point. So after many weeks of hearing about this little gem from multiple people in Morristown, we thought we would give this place to try. The giant burgers were something I have to admit I was curious the try.So after reading google, it clearly says they are open to 6 including the signs but it might as well be closed. We were advised to sit whenever we wanted and then go from there. Well I guess they got busy and didn’t want to take any customers because we waited 35 minutes to even get acknowledged at this point I was hopping to leave but my wife wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt plus being in food myself for over 12 years. I assumed they just needed some breathing room.We try to place our orders and pretty much told that afterward they would need to check if they had any food? Ok? They came out and advised they just had enough and several times we said we understood and that pretty much if this too much, we can leave. We were assured that everything would be great and we were off.Well I guess that was a mistake, I ordered a large burger, got a small, they couldn’t figure out a chicken sandwich for my son and my wife’s was Atleast done right. They explained there was an issue with the chicken sandwich and had to remake it and then they were making the fry wedges as well. I assumed ok, my kids food comes out, wedges come out. Wife and kid will be happy and we move on. About 5 minutes later my kids sandwich comes out but no fries and told they had to cook the wedges still. (Regardless, cut, blanch, cool down and cook) wedges couldn’t be that much longer? Well I was wrong. After eating sub-par food, we waited for another 10 minutes and clearly felt like we were being held hostage, no one else was in the Resturant, waitress could not be bothered with us ( but an old man got served multiple pieces of pie) so after being disappointed. We walked up, begging for our check so we could leave and get food somewhere else. The waitress then said she was asking permission of the owner for a discount on fries since we never got then and discounted us a whopping $4.50 (we never asked or wanted it). I would have paid $450,000.00 just to leave! I left and paid 20% tip because obviously they needed it more than I did.I strongly suggest you read the room/ restaurant when you go in there. If you are being a bother, you are and they will make you feel terrible. Also bring cash, never pay with card as the hostage situation will just take more time.P.s- when I actually paid and was walking out, they said the fries were done?!? Also the waitress said she knows we will never be back.. you think?!?Response to the owner-Snide comments? The only comments we had was “what are we suppose to do? Did we miss something?, maybe ee should leave as they looked flustered” Guess 2 other tables were real knocker to the staff. Also yes, I do leave bad comments to restaurants who have go beyond out their way to do sub-par performance and work. Also it’s clearly obvious you endorse this type of behavior. If you can handle any real volume, maybe you should find a brand/work that better suits you.Parking: Check before you park. Parking lot is garbage.

The folks here are friendly and made my meat and 3 to order. Friday nights are catfish night and live blue grass. There were plenty of instruments. I was passing through during the day and it wasnt the most popular time. The views are spectacular. They have 4 cabins overlooking the mountain to rent and they were booking up for the weekend. When the leaves change I would like to see that view again. It would be incredible.

Tried it for the first time and It was our first and last. They are very short staffed. They only had one server, which is understandable in today's time but food was just mediocre. Nothing to brag about. Chicken tenders were over-cooked. Chicken Livers were undercooked. Sweet tea was not sweet at all. On a good note...the fries were good and the fried potatoes were good. We won't go back.

Fast and friendly service, huge hamburgers, 1 lb patty, if that's not enough a 2 lb burger is available. Very close to a lookout parking area with great view.

Food was dry and old but it had okay flavor. We were told to seat ourselves and we waiting over 15 minutes just to be served. After that the environment was very awkward and the waitress was very unpleasant. Didnt smile or seem welcoming at all. I was excited to try this place out but I won’t be back. Multiple people walked out due to not being served and was not busy at all. 45$ for dry meatloaf, canned corn and a very basic limited salad bar. Also charged 1.99 for a water. I’d recommend driving to the next town to find something to eat unless you like poor service, awkward dining, and very basic underwhelming food. 4.99 for a crumbled piece of “vinegar pie” is hilarious. Big signs saying “world famous vinegar pie” and the only thing I can assume is famous about it is the inedible texture and flavor.

We started coming here last October. We try to come once a week or so—the food is so dang good and the price is unbeatable! Heather and Heath do a great job running this place. Their menu is extensive and their sweet shoppe has some really delicious treats. I also like ordering the specialty sodas. I also recommend the karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s a great time.
