Took me 2 1/2 yrs after moving here, and i can't believe how much I was missing out. Family of 4 full dinners under $70, and I have to say they have some of the best catfish I've ever had. Hush puppies, fried okra, shrimp, cheese steak all amazing, and such a plate full of catfish I didn't even have enough room for dessert. We will definitely be making this a regular place. Since it's only 3 miles up the road. Next time definitely trying the fried apple pie.

We met Eddie and Michelle when they helped us out when we were stuck in the snow. They told us about their restaurant and we made it up today.The food was outstanding! We had chicken tenders, hamburger steak, and a hamburger. The fries were very hot and tasty and the okra and squash were outstanding. Cheyenne, our waitress was very friendly and attentive and we even had a good conversation with 3 of the regular locals who got double hamburgers that made me instantly regret getting chicken tenders. Ha ha. However, we are planning on going back even though it is over an hour trip for us, but it is well worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant especially if you are a local and if not do yourself a favor and make a trip up to eat. You won't regret it.

Great roadside cafe in the middle of nowhere. Worth a drive out to get the best catfish in this area.All you can eat catfish Fridays has people standing outside in line. This place was like going back in time to when my grandmother was still alive, you can’t go wrong with some good old fashion county women food! Everyone was so kind and treated us like family!Kid-friendliness: My two year old daughter had a great time meeting such sweet people!

Almost passed this place up. Thought it was a feed store at first! Neat little place just off the road. Had a good cheeseburger and fries. They get five stars because the nice lady who waited on me poured me a perfect half-and-half sweet tea. Not too sweet & too plain. Overheard the gentleman next to me order a grilled cheese with tomato slices in it. Got to try that next time!

A true roadside diner. I decided to go with the bacon double cheeseburger on my initial visit here, and it did not disappoint. Top to bottom, the burger was excellent...and for six dollars. Add in the fries and it was a great lunch for a very reasonable price. The burger was fantastic, which will make ordering anything else here very difficult. Only time will tell...

We had a burger and fries and they were delicious. The fries were just right crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The burger had a great flavor and the price was very reasonable. It's a small roadside cafe. It is very clean and the staff was very friendly and efficient. The special for Friday was all you can eat fish and it looked very tasty. We will be back.

Wonderful place to eat. We live about 45 minutes away but eat there every 2 to 3 weeks. Its a very nice drive in the country. The catfish is superb and best we have ever eaten. Only other food ive had is the country steak and it didn't disappoint either. Libby and Carolyn are awesome. Great food for your money.

Fried catfish fillets were excellent. Shrimp not so much, but considering this place is a long way from the coast, I should have expected such. I was there for the Catfish anyway. It's a small place and fills up for the Fri catfish special. We were there at 3pm and people steady coming in and out. If you're in the area you should check it out. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Also had a slice of coconut cream pie that was homemade and delicious and big enough for 2 people. The prices on there menu are really cheap and affordable.

Seen it one the way to church with my husband . One Sunday it was closed . We decided to go Friday. it was Friendly staff makes you feel at home. Great tasting food. The cheese hamburgers are so delicious and this fish in Fridays is out of this world.. Worth the price. We are frequent visitors. it also has great pies. believe are homemade

We seen this little place during our spring break on the lake. My family of 4 went on a Friday so a couple of us could get the all you can eat fish. The first plate of fish with the 2 sides was so much they couldn't even request any additional fish. My daughter and I order burgers with okra and onion rings. These burgers were amazing as well as the sides. The woman that took our order was super sweet and friendly. We are so glad we found this little gem as we do visit this lake probably 3 times or more a year. I just don't know how it has passed us by over the last couple years This will be one of our now go to restaurants when visiting the area..

My Husband has eaten here many times, but today was my first and I loved it. The fish and shrimp was awesome! Plenty of food, prices were good and the history of the place is great. They have a Bluegrass band on Friday nights and I definitely want to check this out.

They are a huge asset to the community. They stay open in a difficult time and the community appreciates it. They keep improving their menu and their food. I love the catfish and fried chicken. They serve it fresh and cooked well. They practice good hygiene, which is very important right now.

They didn't have pie an, there's a sign up for the pie.. The fish was mushy .. I'm telling you fish isn't mushy if it's fresh, like they claimed it was supposed to be.... Hamburger had no flavor..

The food was great! I got the grilled cheese, and my boyfriend got the Philly cheese steak sandwich, we both loved it! It was quite and had a home town styled feeling. Over all was a great place. Perfect for a date🙂

Great little mom and pop restaurant. Simple menu, country setting, friendly staff, and the best burgers around. Prices are good and you leave full. They also serve hand dipped ice cream and good old fashioned southern sweet tea.

My wife and I went to the countryside cafe, and the young lady there named Caroline. What a doll. So polite and kind, and with warm friendly smile. I rate this more than 5 stars, Because this little cafe is worthy of 20 stars by my standards

We ate there and it was only 730 and a young a couple come in from Cleveland at 7:25 730 and they told him that they were closed And the sign says they don’t close till 8 o’clock that was disappointing to hear also very poor service the girl did bring us our food but they never come back to our table to ask us if we wanted more fish or anything else we would’ve ordered more fish and fries extra if she had just come back to the tableWe will think twice or more before we come back to your restaurant thank you
