Went here over Trout fest and was very pleased by the shop. They featured a variety of things from camping gear, kayaking and canoeing gear to t-shirts, handmade goods, and pet gear (plus more). I could name more but I'd be here a while. The facilities felt modern but kept a nice rustic charm from the original building (which definitely appears to be an older building). The staff themselves were helpful and friendly including their dog Wilbur. I got a couple of stickers and tshirts which were an in house design and made on a good quality T-shirt. Also as a hog hunter, I really loved the hog baseball cap. Will definitely return on future trips to the area.

Wonderful store! A great place to pick up accessories and gear for your outdoor adventures and a beautiful gift for yourself or loved one. Love how so many items are made locally. An amazing addition to Tellico Plains!

My wife and I have purchased several items from TG&G. I love the selection of hiking footwear and backpacks. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They dis not have my size On Cloud boot so they ordered them for me. Great store and service.

Absolutely loved visiting here! I always make it a place to stop when I am in Tellico! It has become one of my favorite places to get outdoor themed shirts and cute and quirky stickers! The atmosphere is wonderful and I love being able to bring my dog Willow inside (not to mention she gets fresh water by the door) I can't wait to see this wonderful store grow along with the incredible people who run it!

We stopped in to check out Tellico Goods & Gear today and were exceedingly impressed with the quality, cleanliness, and hospitality. A large majority of the items were from local artists (all of which were of very high quality) and a reasonably priced. This business is a great addition to the downtown (I always try to support local). I cannot say enough good things about this new business...go see for yourself. AMAZING!

Tellico Goods & Gear is an absolute gem! I was thrilled to see the selection of quality merchandise presented with a general store feel. I was greeted by Mattie who educated me on all the goods she carries from local artisans. I felt like the prices of the goods Mattie carries were priced lower than what I have seen in other cities as well. I will definitely be back! Thrilled to have this added to the local community.

I've been coming to Tellico Plains area for years and have always hoped that someone would come in and fix up some of the buildings on the square -- I think these people have done a great job. It's an awesome addition to the other businesses nearby, and I hope more decide to come in and make it an even better destination. I have a few of my pottery pieces in the store, and I think the owners have been great to work with and very fair. Good luck to them!

They have awesome items, including great gifts ideas, outdoor gear for you and your pup, and high quality tshirts, stickers, etc. I love stopping in here and found the prices were reasonable for the high quality items they carry. This is a beautiful store with a great selection of merchandise. I loved the beautiful pottery and hand made jewelry. We were there for their open house and found everyone very friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back. .

So excited to have an outdoor store here in Tellico! I own the store behind their building they have been so considerate and kind to us. I ran over to say hi and ended up purchasing a pair of OnClouds that I have been looking for for months! Super convenient to not go drive an hour to get luxury outdoor items.

Not sure what these reviews are about prices… working in the outdoor industry, I can vouch that Tellico G&G is right on track with pricing! The atmosphere and management are wonderful and I will definitely be back. Love supporting these local shops 😊

The owners are very rude. The prices are very high. Too high. They try to rip people off by marking their prices up through the roof. Very unfortunate for the local community. They say they’re here to support the local community, while their actions show anything but. Unless of course paying taxes counts as “supporting the community”. They seem to think their deep pockets mean more to the people around here than our neighbors do. They’re sadly mistaken.

"Welcome to Goods and Gear where you can't even afford the air in here." I went in here hoping to find some good camping gear. What I found was gear. I can get cheaper from Amazon marked up like no other. This is a low-end shop trying to sell at high-end prices.

Swung by for some hammock straps I had forgotten at home and was amazed with all of the essentials they carried as well as all of the original/one off things in didn’t even know I wanted or needed. Happy to see a store like this in my favorite little tiny town.

Visited the store the other day my son and I were surprised on how high the prices were totally at a store for Rich tourists totally outrageous high prices definitely not price for the local I don't think they realize that when the seasonal tourist leave we are the ones that keep the stores open year-round
